To say this Pandemic Period has had its challenges, would be an obvious understatement. As a frequent traveler, I have noticed how difficult times tend to identify weaknesses in individuals and organizations. How pleasant a contrast, to observe the staff at Le Meridien Stuttgart’s continued progress as an exceptional provider of professional hospitality. To share a few examples: Prior to traveling to the hotel, I called and spoke with Sarina Merz to confirm my booking. She went beyond what was necessary to make the appropriate arrangements. She saw to it that I could receive accommodations similar to rooms I’ve stayed in before. These efforts and details make my work from the hotel room considerably more comfortable. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Sabrina Diehl. The staff really knows how to make you feel like more than just a room number, but as a true “Guest”. Finally, the kindest expression came sometime later during my stay. Unbeknownst to Sarina Merz, I was logging-in to view a close relative’s funeral. COVID's the worst. Just then, I received a knock on my door from hotel staff, who presented a thoughtful card and chocolate, wishing me an enjoyable stay. The card was signed - Sarina Merz. The timing could not have been better. Le Meridien is an easy choice when visiting Stuttgart.…
One of the prime locations we have been using for our princess for one day events since many - and I really mean many! - years. Location, attitude - we always had a stellar experience. I highly recommend this hotel, its restaurants and event facilities.
The staff was so friendly and accommodating to my family and I. The service was outstanding and the breakfast was the best around. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting. Mirjam and her staff are the friendliest people to see in the morning. I don’t write reviews often, but this one was worth the time.
I stayed at this hotel many times in the past. Even though service was never excellent, the location was quite convenient for exploring Stuttgart. However what I had to experience during my latest stay (during Covid-19 pandemic) was appalling and terrifying. Upon checking into my room I noticed numerous contaminations of floor, cupboard, bathroom, chair that proof that this hotel is not taking its responsibilities towards its guests seriously. During normal times such stains would be regarded unacceptable for a 5 Star Hotel. During Covid-19 pandemic this is grossly negligent and jeopardizing the health of the guests staying. I am shocked that a hotel that is a member of one of the largest hotel chains gets away with this. Upon complaining a cleaning lady was sent to remove the stains - no further cleaning was provided.…
The location is great. Fairly close to the Central Railway Station, which is about 10 mins walk from the hotel, the hotel upgraded us to a level, very pleasant surprise. The hotel is old, but I like it. Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities include gym, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. I personally think this should be re-branded as a JW Marriott
