Very pleasant mountain-style hotel, with smiling, charming staff who listen to our needs.
Congratulations to everyone for making this 2023 stay an unforgettable moment. I do not forget in this bravo, the women and men of “the shadows” whom we never meet and yet make our rooms in the morning and prepare the beds in the evening. We really appreciated the small welcome tray, with the “made in house” cakes.
we are delighted and we will certainly come back in the summer of 2024 if the hotel wants us and if it keeps its soul as a family hotel.
Access to the SPA via the elevator is pleasant and I was able to taste and enjoy all the fresh juices offered
If you accept the objective remarks, you should certainly provide a place to put the reusable glasses that have been used. In fact, I was the only one to enjoy the SPA during our entire stay and I didn't mind leaving my glass next to the "hole" used to place used towels.
The trash bin available did not seem to me to be a suitable place to place reusable glasses.
Perhaps it would be useful to provide a suitable place for “dirty” glasses?
Another point: We ate very well at the restaurant “La table de mon grandfather” nothing to say about all the dishes and desserts offered. However, we missed the family “dishes” like fondues that were previously on the menu.
The gratin of crucibles is available this year only as an accompaniment, we would have liked to be able to eat these typically Savoyard and convivial dishes in the hotel's restaurant, rather than going to "la petite bergerie" to find your old and nevertheless friendly, chef of room.
The problems encountered during our stay were in no way the fault of the hotel.
I took the liberty of contacting the Tourist Office via email to report the "annoying" noise just under our windows (because we had room 140), which the manhole makes almost every time vehicles pass (direction climb). This insignificant “clack clack” is somewhat annoying when you want to rest or fall asleep with the window open.
The tourist office sent me a return email, telling me that they were forwarding my message to the relevant services.
Thanks also to Audrey, and her magic hands, for allowing me the time for a great massage, to have a “moment of relaxation just for me”.
I hope I haven't offended anyone.

+1
Hotel Les Peupliers it’s a wonderful chalet hotel in Courchevel Le Praz. The location is perfect, only few minutes by gondola to popular Courchevel 1850. Views from our room were beautiful despite little snow this year. The manager and the team are really nice and helpful. It’s a relatively young team running this hotel and we think that they coped very well over busy Christmas period. There are few areas needing improvement: Wi-Fi was really bad, TVs in rooms outdated with no signal, breakfast could be a little more generous and the gym and spa area could be improved, although the sauna and steam room were good. No coffee makers in rooms either.
Worth mentioning, we were impressed with the level of cleaning. We found it really exceptional, better than in other hotels. Rooms were kept very clean and water, tea, sugar and other bits always topped up. Keep up the good job guys and we hope to see you next time!

The hotel is well located and the decor welcoming. A few things would have led to a much higher rating. First, there was an unpleasant odour in the shower room which I brought to the attention of the reception, but the odour continued and no one made the effort to update me on what actions had been taken - I had to ask, but it was not resolved. Second, in the bathroom the body cream was in the shower and the hair conditioner by the basin and the conditioner Third, the reception staff, while courteous, did not provide a warm welcome. It would have made a massive difference to simply say good morning or good evening and ask how the skiing was, etc. It felt as though the guest was a burden.

Having taken a seat we placed a good order, my youngest however wanted a chicken burger from their sister restaurant next door (it’s a family owned business a shared frontage) I asked the waiter if I could purchase a small meal from their restaurant next door and my young son eat it our table where we had ordered main meals. I was shocked he said no but if we moved to the next table we could. So we moved tables. The waiter returned and said sorry I’ve spoke to the manger/owner and you can’t eat food at any table that’s not purchased from here. I went inside to speak to the manager I spoke to the bar man first, he agreed with me and said it was ridiculous to be told he couldn’t eat from their own eatery next door. He said it made no sense we were eating at the table anyway & my son was sat with a drink he wasn’t taking anyone space so why would they not allow him to eat a burger from their own adjacent eatery? The manager came over. Well I’ve never experienced such rude angry customer service the manger was very rude almost shouting animated waving her arms about and talking over me continually saying No No can’t be done. Now I’ve been to this area many times and recommend the area as the service is excellent but in this restaurant it is non existent. If this is how the owner speaks to customers then they’ll soon have no customers at all. We promptly paid for our drinks and cancelled our food order and left. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting as there are too many options available where good customer service is given. A very petty owner with very poor customer delivery skills.

Dear Mrs, Dear Sir, We are more than sorry to read your review. This kind of situation does not happen usually and we are sad that you had a bad experience in our restaurant. It should have been a very big miss-understanding of all the team. If you would like to give us another chance you will see how our team is friendly and would do anything to satisfy you. Wishing you a nice stay in Courchevel Alexandra

Fabulous food, let down by inexperienced staff . We live in the village and find it sad that a previously vibrant ‘heart’ of the village is now not frequented by the locals.
The reason being , the service is very slow. One can wait 20minutes to get served a drink. The staff are young and don’t seem to have any direction. Determined to support our much loved hotel we have had lunch there twice recently. The Chef is
outstanding. Delicious food , small but perfectly cooked portions. Excellent side dishes. The standard of food served from the kitchen is well above many of the restaurants in 1850. It is a pity that unless the service is improved , people will
continue to avoid it.

The staff can be rude. We walked into the bar expecting a pleasant greeting and good service. That didn’t happen in fact the member of staff was less than welcoming close to rude asking us if we didn’t understand so we left. It was mid afternoon and we had hoped to have apres ski drinks/ afternoon tea. We’ve skied the 3 valleys for a number of years and it’s not the first time we’ve walked in to this hotel bar restaurant and been met by less than friendly service. It’s almost as if our custom was not needed or required. We won’t go back. Such a pity as the location is good. We are a group of respectable middle aged couples. It’s hard to see what’s undesirable about our custom or euro spend!

Very well located, very professional team.
Cleanliness, very good hygiene product.
Breakfast is also very good.
Parking available when there is space or alpinium 3 minutes walk away.
5/5 overall.
We often go there 4/5 times a year.
The only small remark is help in carrying the luggage into the rooms.
So you would be perfect.
