Small but well-appointed modern bedroom (with a small balcony) in this centrally-located hotel. Very friendly staff, and carpark below the hotel (extra charge) was good. We didn’t have breakfast there, preferring to eat at one of the many cafés nearby.

A colleague and I decided to venture to Annecy, France for the weekend and didn't have a hotel booked. We stopped in this hotel to see if there were any rooms and their staff were incredibly helpful. The woman behind the front desk was very warm and friendly, especially after we had some negative encounters prior to our arrival. Her warm hear and helpful spirit made all the difference. She patiently checked us in and helped us out to determine restaurant and activities for the evening. The rooms were spacious for a European hotel and the bathrooms were very nice. It is in a great location in old town and even had parking in the basement. Great stay!

My wife and I booked our stay at this hotel through booking.com. On the up side the hotel is in a very central location, the rooms are clean, well equipped and furnished. Ours had a balcony overlooking the rear of the building and the car park of another hotel - not a problem, no noise. The gentleman on the front desk was very helpful and the staff at breakfast were very efficient The hotel was indicated as having on site parking, we obviously missed the fact this is 12 Euros per night and it is a very narrow entrance and small parking spaces. We have a VW Tiguan which had about 5 cm to spare each side getting through the garage door and completely filled one of the parking spaces. Ours was not the only car of this size. Breakfast is 16 Euros per person and a little high for what you get. Beware the centre of Annecy is exceptionally busy with traffic and not all that easy to navigate your way around. Lots of one way streets and pedestrian only areas

Le Pre Carre is close to everything Annecy offers. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. It doesn’t look like much from the street, but the rooms were modern and sparkling clean. Outside it was 90+ degrees, so the AC was a life saver. Their kindly staff members helped us book restaurants and figure out our transportation back to Lyon. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay here again if/when we return to Annecy.

My daughter and her family with whom I was going to stay for the weekend in their new house emailed me a couple of days before I was due to arrive with the news that the heatwave was making their house very hard to sleep in at night. I cannot stand hot bedrooms. So I quickly booked myself a hotel room instead--not easy at short notice with the Festival du Lac that weekend-- and I was very grateful for what this hotel provided at short notice. It's not cheap, but the aircon worked perfectly! And the staff were universally helpful.

A modern, clean hotel in the center of Annecy. Very close to the old part of town. Friendly personnel. Reception open 24H. Private parking in hotel basement a plus. Rooms are not large; however bathrooms are.

Our visit to Annecy was awesome. Annecy is a very pretty lake-side city that has a charming old town with winding canals and medieval monuments and fortifications. Our stay was made more memorable by Hotel Le Pre Carre. The hotel was in a great location right beside the old town and not far from the magnificent lake. The rooms were large, clean, comfortable and modern. The lobby was bright and welcoming. Bathroom was huge. Beds were soft and nice. Everything we needed was available in the rooms. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was typical for a 4 star hotel in France. Parking is available in the basement if you're driving. If I find myself back in Annecy in the future, this is where I will stay.

Our room was spacious, clean and bright. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast by the lake so I can't comment on the food. We hadn't booked our car into the hotel parking lot so we had to park in a local public parking, it was just around the corner and cost about e12 for a day and night, apparently there is a parking option at the end of the hotel page, we hadn't seen it.

We booked this because the other hotel wasn't available and so glad we did! Location is close ten min walk from bus station and 7 min walk from the main lake and shopping attractions. For $150 euros it was great! Room n restrooms were very clean and everything is modern and updated. Air conditioner was super cold and we had our own thermostat in the room. Beds were firm and sheets n comforter were clean and pressed. Room had fridge, safe box, robes, slippers, outlets at night stands and windows opened if you wanted to do so. We switched to the Splendid Hotel the ne t night Bc I read so many good reviews but now we regretted it bc Hotel Le Pre Carre was sooo much cleaner and roomy and $30 euros cheaper. Splendid was $180 euros and I felt like it was a little dirty and not maintained . Stayed aug 29,2017

I am very picky and particular about where I will stay, and have travelled around the world. And I liked this place, Hotel Le Pre Carre. Excellent location, nice room, clean, and good food, bar, etc. You can walk to the lake, very close. Yes, I do recommend it.
