This is small boutique hotel in an old building on very narrow street. It is rather difficult to access by car. No valet service and no place for a car in front of the hotel (unless you are lucky). Check-in process was quick but the clerk forgot to give our ID back. Fortunately we noticed it at the hotel, not in the airport. Our room was quite spacious. Good shower. Toilet was in separate closet without a sink, which is little odd. Wifi is password protected, nobody informed us the password. Breakfast was good. It has one Michelin star restaurant (Le Cenacle, reviewed separately) which also had some service issues.
Great hotel, great location, very helpful staff. I had a nice room and an enjoyable stay. Only small negative remark: there was a "clean stains" on the furniture and on the carpet, which should not be present in a 5-star hotel.
Excellent stay with friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location in city centre a short walk to the Capitol and lots of great bars and restaurants close by. High quality breakfast buffet. Lovely room: deluxe suite works perfectly for a couple and 2 children. Highly recommended and look forward to coming back.
We had a short, two night stay here. We discovered much to our pleasure, that Toulouse empties out in August. This fact, together with the hotel, produced a totally chilled break. The hotel is ideally placed, near to the river and a very sort walk from restaurants, shops and bars. The deluxe room was large and very well appointed. the staff were lovely and the breakfast lovely. We took advantage of the parking which was an added bonus. We're planing on returning.
We spent 6 nights at La Cour des Consuls at the end of December and we were so glad we chose this hotel for our trip to Toulouse. Check-in was fast and to my surprise we were upgraded to a Deluxe Room. We were given a tour of the hotel by Sebu (sorry if I misspelled the name) who also took our luggage to our room and also gave us great recommendations on things to do. We stayed in room 144 which is a corner room located in the forth floor. It was very big, extremely quiet, very comfortable bed, and very clean. The only thing is the floor gets very wet while showering and may become slippery. I’d also suggest to the hotel management to have better lighting in the bathroom for us ladies who need it when applying makeup. We had breakfast every day at the hotel and it was excellent with a big variety. We suggest not going too late for breakfast as they start putting the foods away closer to breakfast end time. Special thanks to Cecilia who went above and beyond finding us a car rental place when our trains were cancelled to Albi due to the strike. We had lunch and brunch on two of the days we were there at their Michelin Star restaurant Le Cenacle which will be a separate review and went to the bar a couple of times as well. The hotel is approximately a 20 minutes ride from and to the airport by taxi and is also within walking distance of great restaurants and the major tourist attractions. What made this stay so great was the excellent service we received from everyone. I would definitely stay there again if I’m back to Toulouse and I recommend La Cour des Consuls without hesitation. …
