Solid location, within two minutes to the station for easy travel links, plenty of good bars and restaurants near-by. Staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful, all speaking both French and English. Breakfast could be better, although there are plenty of good places in town to check out anyway, so this is not that much of a biggie. Otherwise I would happily stay for a third time. We probably will, as my girlfriend is a French citizen from Bordeaux, so we have started a bit of a tradition of visiting Toulouse before going to Bordeaux.
One need to claim few steps to get to the Reception and also to reach rooms as there is no lift. small room and very small toilet. Location is good as it is close to Toulouse Main Station and lots of restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. Convenient for business travelers.
Our room had 2 double beds and was so crowded you had to crawl over the beds to move around, you couldn't open the balcony windows as a bed blocked it. The en suite appears to have been built in a wardrobe, small, strange and no expelair, also no hot water 'til much later in the day. No furniture in the room as no space for any just a ratty, dirty mat. Accessed via very steep stairs, once you find it, and definitely does not look like the photos. One bedside light was 'mended' with brown sticky paper wrapped round it - just about sums it up.
We booked 4 months ago and put in a spécial request for a room on ground or first floor with car parking in their car park as I am disabled and both on our 70s. We arrived after a long journey to find no car parking booked in and a room on THIRD floor with no lift . Reception is also up a flight of Stairs. The receptionist showed no interest, no apology. If we could we would have cancelled the booking them and gone elsewhere but that was not possible. The rooms are at most one star level. DO NOT BOTHER PUTTING IN ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS, THEY DONT HONOUR THEM . Will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
I was meeting my wife in Toulouse before heading off by train to the coast and we picked this hotel based on its location. It is a direct walk from the front of the station (around 5-10 minutes) and was reasonably priced for a night stay (circa 50 euros). The check in was relatively smooth, albeit the reception is up a steep flight of stairs (not great with luggage). At check in, you get given the room key, air conditioning controller and TV remote (the last two were new to me for a hotel). The hotel is also one where you have to leave the room at reception when you go out, which isn’t a problem though we did have a 5 minute wait for the key in the evening (as the receptionist was serving someone else), which was frustrating. In terms of the room, it is cosy (small) with just about enough room to put a suitcase and still walk round. The soundproofing from road and other rooms was good and the air conditioning worked fine. The room and bathroom were clean, but dated so as the headline says not a place to stay for more than a night. We did not have breakfast here (plenty of places around as alternative).…
