This hotel is very well placed in a small side street off a main road in the centre of the city. Place du Capitole is a pleasant stroll away for drinks or breakfast "en terrace". The staff are enthusiastic and very helpful. The only drawback is the size of the room. We were upgraded and still had trouble. Difficult to get 2 people with 2 suitcases in. The shower cubicle was smaller than some phone boxes and could have been a little better looked after. On the whole, if you just want a place to lay your head for a night then it is extremely good value for money and conveniently located close to 2 Metro stations and a 15 minute easy walk to the Matabiau train station. Taller or larger than average people might find it a bit of a squeeze.
The hotel is very well situated close to the historic square in Toulouse. One can easily walk to the river from the hotel. It is in a quiet street just off a bigger street which means less noise. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is the option of having breakfast in the nice breakfast area (at about 9 euros not a bad deal). Just note: the lift goes to all the other floors except the first floor - for the first floor you must use the stairs (no problem of course if you climb stairs easily!)
Clean, tidy and great location near city centre and a great price to match. Friendly, accommodating staff. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment, hot and cold drinks are available upon request. Didn't like the very small shower space or the curtain instead of a door on the bathroom. Although, I would stay here again.
We booked a comfort room which was clean and tidy with a small balcony. The Hotel is very well priced and there are some things missing. No hairdryer no drawer space. Given the price and the excellent position of the Hotel these to us were not the end of the world. The staff were pleasant and very helpful recommending some very good restaurants we may not have otherwise found. Good clean basic room in an excellent location.
Room 106 in this hotel is miniscule and on first seeing it we asked to upgrade but nothing else was available for the two nights of our stay. The rooms are rather cheaply decorated with nylon throws and cushion covers but it must be said although utilitarian they were extremely clean. My reason for awarding the hotel with a lofty 3 stars is down to two factors, its location (great but no discount arrangement for parking) and its helpful, professional and cheery staff. It is probably one of the cheapest hotels in Toulouse with reason.
