Travellers' Choice
The 3 star Hotel Résidence des Arts, is located in rue Git le Coeur, between the Latin Quarter and Saint Germain des Prés, in the historical heart of Paris. The story goes: Gabrielle d’Estrees, duchess of Beaufort & Verneuil, mistress of Henri the IV from 1591 to 1599 used to live in rue Git le Cœur. The king, enamored of his mistress, said while passing by our street with his carriage: "here lies my heart" ("ici git mon coeur"). Each of our elegant rooms have their own decoration, character and colour scheme. You will enjoy every comfort in a refined setting.

In the heart of Saint-Germain we found the perfect place to stay. It all started with the best host to have, Willy, and immediate felt welcome. The Junior Suite is more an apartment than a room. Large, warm interior and a good kingsize bed. For us it was the perfect stay!

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed in the Junior Suite with my family which has a king size bed - living room with a sofa bed - bathroom with shower and bath - and a small kitchenette. The room feels luxurious, stylish and very spacious. Given COVID-19, there are no glassware or dishes in the room. If you need something, you have to ask. Personally, I think this is a better way to manage a hotel rather than always having utensils, dishes, or glassware in the room. Why? Because it will be cleaner. The front desk is VERY attentive to guests needs. We asked for champagne glasses and they were placed in our room before we arrived. This is a boutique hotel so some things are small such as the lobby or the lift, which can accommodate max. three people. The thing about this hotel is the location, CENTRALLY LOCATED TO WALK JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE, Notre Dame 5mn, Musée d’Orsay 15 mn, Le Louvre 15mn, The Seine 1mn, etc. Ok, the Eiffel Tower about 1hr but you can do it. You are in Paris! You are so close to the Seine so don't forget to hang out by the Paris-Plages. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and the hotel will also provide their recommendations as well. We thought this was great. Also, if you are driving, there is a nearby underground parking Indigo Paris Place Saint-Michel - EV charging is available. One last thing, the hotel will store your baggage either before your room is available or after your check out.

Although the room and bathroom were small it was comfortable and good for what we needed. Elevator was smallest I have ever seen but taking the stairs was usually more convenient. Less than half an hour after we checked out, I received a call to say I had left my sunglasses in room. Great service and I was able to return to collect. Very close to Metro and loads of cafes and restaurants. Quiet inside

Excellent and safe location with clean rooms and great staff. It is a small boutique hotel near restaurants, shopping, bars, the metro, RER, etc. The hotel manager Willy made our stay - he was really kind and helped us whenever we needed it. I recommend the junior suite - my mom and I stayed and it was nice having a sitting room and kitchenette during our stay. Large for European standards. I would stay again.

Our second stay and there will be a third. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. The room was perfect for us and our 16 year old son. And the location is very convenient to access all the sites.
