We stayed here for a stop overnight on our way to spain. Very clean room. The bathroom is really clean. Comfortable bed. The hotel style , Open Walk through is good because the air is not close inside a building there is always fresh air. Friendly staff. Very good Restaurant. Shopping stores are not far. It is quite a litte bit loud because it is located beside a busy road. But for a one or two night stay it is recommendable. With some free senf that they give to their guest we find it a very nice gesture.
On the first leg of our journey we went to dinner at around 7:30. Once we sat down we ordered one 50cl of beer per person. Once this one had finished we tried to order another, they explained that they had run out. The only beer left were small bottles of which we ordered 2 bottles through the meal. I tried to order a last one before going to bed and was told we could not have any more alcohol. The return journey was not quite as bad, whenever we ordered a drink the waitress had to check with the manager to see if he would allow it. Our last 50cl order, 4 in total, we were told, in no uncertain terms, that it would be our last. We have stayed in this hotel, for the same journey, for the last 7 years. We have never been treated like this before and I can only assume that the reason for this treatment is down to the new manager. We will continue to do the same journey for years to come, but we are now looking for another hotel to stay in due to this experience.…
We use this hotel as a stop off through to skiing. The rooms have just been updated and are quite modern. The bathroom is very good with excellent shower facilities. It is always very clean, the staff are friendly and the attached restaurant is good. Location is perfect to get back on route for the Alps.
Campaniles are my favourite hotel chain when travelling through France. This was our first time here and we were very satisfied as always with Campanile. The bedrooms are perfect for our requirements, thge air conditionain very effective and the mkeals are excellent. The buffets for starters and desserts are plentiful and tasty. My only disappointment is that I could not eat more! Staff always very helpful and cooperative.
On our way to southern France we stopped here to continue our journey the day after. The reservation said airco and comfortable rooms. On the upside: easily located; small but ok washing/bathroom and parking free and secure. Downside: it’s more like a motel; door opens to outside gallery, the hotel is nothing more than a separate building consisting of three galleries on top of each other with doors opening to the outside. The room was particularly small; Could barely fit a double. Airco was on; but could Not even chill this small room. All in all not exactly what we expected but if you just need a bed for one night you will be fine
