Excellent location. The room was comfortable with ocean views. Restaurant was excellent, with extensive menu, plus inside or outside eating. Staff helpful and friendly. Free wifi. Only downside was luke warm water from shower.
Our room had a large terrace overlooking the water and sunrises. However, the area on either side of the bed was very narrow and the bathroom was very small with only a stand up shower. There were only soap dispensers rather than toiletry items. The bed had two separate covers for a double. We could hear every step on the wood boards above our room. The food is not amazing but they had crepes and simple things until 9 p.m. They had a free parking lot right on the property. The location can't be beat and is in walking distance of the sandy beaches and the downtown. It is dog friendly though it is 9 EUR per dog per night and they say do not leave them unattended in the rooms. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches in the area. Great location to discover the area.
A typical French seaside hotel that has been well renovated. Our room was on the top floor and had a large window (with window seat) overlooking the sea so we had the sound of the waves to lull us to sleep. The shower room was excellent and the whole room was clean and tidy. The restaurant was excellent and well priced with Moule frites as the speciality. Highly recommended !
Arrived quite late in the evening, but a room was available. We had a choice of room with only a slight price difference for the larger one. We went for the smaller one as the only difference was a big desk in the way to the bathroom. Room comfortable, bathroom good, everything you need really. Best thing is the sea/harbour view from your own balcony. There is also a restaurant and this is the thing that pleased us the most....It served great seafood. Don't miss the fisherman's platter! Oysters..yum yum :) and the local cider. Parking is free, it's behind the hotel but rather small so I wonder what they do in the high season. Wifi available but a bit slow.
We took a first floor room with a terrace overlooking the sea. Sleeping to the sound of waves crashing was wonderful. This is an old hotel that has been updated. The rooms are a bit small due to the king size bed and the added bathroom. The bathroom was excellent as was the bed. The staff was quite friendly and helpful--we were having some car trouble and they helped locate a garage for us. The restaurant downstairs was excellent as well, with quality at very good prices. They also have private parking.
