This hotel is a haven of peace in the city centre. Pros -outdoor sitting area is beautiful, calm and relaxing when the city is just seconds away. Honest Bar means you don’t have to wait for staff to serve you . The rooms are spacious and offer tea and coffee facilities . The spa baths work well. Beds and pillow are comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff . Cons- parking is additional cost and if you have a roof box be prepared to park 10 mins walk away . Fixtures are a bit dated but clean . We had two rooms for the family . The room not in the loft has great air con but the suite in the loft was very warm even with air con on max . Complex internal layout to navigate especially if family are placed on different floors . Overall we would definitely return and feel it was value for money .

We stayed 6 nights and from the moment we arrived everyone was kind and helpful. Any requests that we had was met with a smile, and happy to be of service. Love, love, love this hotel! I have already recommended this hotel to at least a half a dozen people!

Our family of 4 (kids 14 and 10) really loved this hotel. We stayed 3 nights in one of the large loft apartment rooms on the 4th floor. With the wood beams it really gave us the feeling we were in France and it looked straight out of Beauty and the Beast inside. I did bump my head a couple times on the diagonal beams but that’s ok. If you are over 6 feet 2 inches then you will probably be bumping your head on the overhead cross beams. Rooms had AC. Breakfast was good. Parking is very close by. And the kids loved Theo the parrot in the lobby! Most importantly, the location is great - very short walk to cross the bridge to get onto Strasbourg “island” and super close to the Cathedral. We went for a morning stroll to the cathedral area before the crowds showed bc we were so close. The staff was great, especially the man who was working evenings (wish we got his name). Highly recommend Hotel Beaucour apartment rooms for families traveling.

I don't often leave reviews unless I feel like it was such a great experience that I need to tip my hat to the establishment. This hotel is, quite simply, perfect. It's in a great location in Strasbourg (20 min walk from the gare, 12 minutes to Petite France) with a shady courtyard, honesty bar, and amazing staff. I was traveling with my husband and 1 year old, and meeting up with friends and their babies/children. The staff was SO accommodating, even finding us a babysitter for a night (one of their staff!) so we could go out to dinner. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was great as well. Lots of little touches of home and thoughtfulness sprinkled about. We got a suite so that my husband could work during the day-- the wifi and work space were both more than ample. We loved being able to put the kids to sleep and sitting around the courtyard drinking beers from the honesty bar. And the value for money was top!

This is a lovely little hotel very well situated to explore the old town in Strasbourg. It is approximately a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and is very near a tram stop as well. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but because of flight cancellations we arrived a day late. I was very appreciative of how accommodating the staff were to our situation. My wife and I were traveling with our 19 year old daughter, and I had reserved the Duplex Suite. It was perfect for us and we would choose this room again. Upon our arrival, the sofa-bed was already pulled out and made up for our daughter. My wife and I slept in the in the loft bedroom. We had an early departure the next morning, and opted not to do breakfast at the hotel. When in Strasbourg, we would definitely choose Hotel Beaucour again and we hope to stay longer next time.

Dear Adryan, Your sincere and warm comment fills us with joy. Le Beaucour is a uniquely decorated Alsatian house that I love to change with the seasons. The whole team and I are happy to have welcomed you in our little haven of peace. Taking care of our guests, having small attentions, is part of our values and seeing it underlined draws smiles on the faces of all of us. The duplex suite is ideal for families who benefit from the charm of the old, the beams and the beautiful volumes with a mezzanine bedroom and a cosy lounge. It gives us great pleasure to know that you are already thinking of coming back to see us. There is so much to discover in Strasbourg and the region, we look forward to sharing it with you for your next longer and more peaceful stay. See you soon, Claire Lise, General Manager Hotel Beaucour**** +33 3 88 76 72 00

The hotel has been carved out of historic buildings and incorporates half-timbered Alsatian style, but provides all the modern conveniences, including a good breakfast. I appreciated the good bed. The overall style gives you a wonderful sense of place. Everything you will want to see is within an easy walk.

The location was amazing - all the key Strasbourg spots are walking distance. However, it was definitely on pricey side .. the room we got was severely outdated, the doorhandle in the bathroom was broken… we had carpet on the floor, which was a bit scary given the number of people who have walked on it. We extended our stay by one night and initial price was supposed to be 190 euro and then it turned out that we had to pay 204…

Dear Eshima, Thank you very much for selecting my hotel for your stopover in Strasbourg. I am glad to read that you had a good stay, so much so that you extended it by one night. I can understand that the last night was not at the same price as the previous ones, in the hotel business, just like in aviation, prices fluctuate according to the market. In your case, the extended night must have been during a very busy period, which explains the slightly higher price. I am glad that despite this increase in demand, we were still able to accommodate your need for an extension. I am surprised to read that you found your room "outdated", it may not be to your taste, as they are all unique in terms of decoration. I manage this establishment with love, I take care to maintain it, to embellish it, every year we make renovation works, of arrangement. It's a passion to imagine new decorations, new bedding... I am very proud of my establishment. Don't worry about the maintenance of the carpets, we do it conscientiously. The carpets are cleaned every day with a special dust and water hoover. They are regularly shampooed, the last time being in April, by an external contractor. And for those who don't like carpets, we have rooms with parquet floors available on request. I would like to emphasise that you loved the location of our hotel, so close to everything, in the heart of Strasbourg, from which you can do so much on foot. I am very sorry that the extra 14€ (7€ per person) spoiled your perception of our place. Thank you for your visit, we look forward to welcoming you back to our city of art and history. I stayed 4 night in this hotel in a charme room and I had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, quiet, spacious and equipped with all comforts. The bathroom was big and functional, just the toilet would probably need a revamp. The AC was silent and worked wonders. The staff at the reception was friendly and always ready to help. They even provided me with a Tempur pillow for free. In the hall there's a coffee machine you can use for free. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel since I found it too expensive. The hotel is located right in the city center and at a walking distance from all the main attractions. In 5 minutes you can reach the Cathedral and in 10/15 minutes the Petite France district. The tram stop is only 2 minutes away and from there you can easily reach the station in only 4 stops. The area is full of restaurants, cafes and anything you may need. The only fault I can find is Wi-Fi which was glitchy even though the signal looked excellent. Being European though it was no big deal since I can use my phone data plan within the EU.

Fantastic place with nice equipped rooms and good breakfast. Very central, thus most attractions reachable within 15 minutes by foot. Parking garage is just opposite the side entrance. All employees are very helpful and really supportive.

Post - Corona we went there for the first time in spring (usually we went there for the Christmas fair). We've been going there for 20 years and in the last years standards have gone down a bit. But I'm happy to say it has improved. Maybe it's because the crew is more attuned now. Room (215) was ok. However, there is a terrace directly below for hotel guests, so it can get noisy in summer. In the reception there were hot and non-alcoholic drinks for free. In Advent there are always Christmas cookies. The Christmas decorations were redecorated for Easter: Ex-Christmas trees with Easter eggs... Only the breakfast is very meager for 4 star standards. Among other things: Muesli no longer exists; Juices are all from the bottle, bread is only baguette, croissants, pain au chocolat and a few rolls.
