Nice and kind reception service, Rooms small, Pillow hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom ok! Breakfast not worth it (Variety, quality). Location is good, near tram and close to cathedral. Triple room works for 2 but not for 3

Everything went as expected hotel was just what I expected the staff very friends room very nice, I was in the front of the hotel and there are passing trams however this was not an issue, parking garage worth every penny. Short stroll into the centre, pleased I’ve booked hotel again for my return journey. There is a Coffin lift up from the garage so anyone with claustrophobia should maybe take the stairs but don’t let this put anyone off.

It looks much more appealing on photos than it is in real life. The parking is tiny (well to be fair thanks it exists at all). The breakfast is good, fresh special yogurts. The personal is much welcoming. Could be good when you consider it for short stay for work as is close to centre. Yet I'd not recommend for families.

Dear Sir Kisylychka, Thank you for choosing the Hotel Diana Dauphine for your stay in Strasbourg and for taking the time to leave this comment. We are really happy that you enjoyed our breakfast buffet. We offer a “Healthy & Gourmand” breakfast with as many local and organic products as possible. We are delighted to see that you particularly appreciated our welcome and the kindness of our staff. It is indeed important to us to help our dear guests and to make ourselves available to them, in order to make their stay as pleasant as possible. We are however very sorry to read that your stay didn’t reach all your expectations and that you didn’t have a room which looked like the one on the pictures. During a future stay in our hotel, do not hesitate to let us know that you wish to have a room similar to the one on the pictures. We always try to meet the demands of our customers, when possible. Our parking space is indeed a bit small for some large vehicles, this is the reason why we ask our guests who have reserved a parking space about the brand and model of their car. If our garage is already full or the car too big, we can always recommend a parking that is only a few minutes’ walk distance from our hotel. We hope that we will have the pleasure to welcoming you again for a future stay in Strasbourg to offer you a better experience. Best regards, Aurélie Kloepfer The Front Desk

I visited the hotel for celebrating my husband's birthday and christmas market. It was really great time and so happy! However, just one thing that i disapponted was parking. The parking lot was so...really so narrow. Although it is a small car, the time i drove in the parking lot was very scary. But, except for the parking, i would like to recommend to my friend! Thank you for the hotel's kindness!

The hotel itself is very well located. 5 minutes to the old town of Strasbourg. Staff at the reception was very helpful and recommended very nice restaurants. The wifi was basically non-existent though, so it might be a problem for business travellers. Appreciate that the staff tried to help but it wasn’t fixed. Superb housecleaning team as well. The room cleaning was immaculate. Thank you all!

Dear Rachel, What a pleasure it is to read this lovely comment that you left us following your stay at the hotel Diana Dauphine ! We are extremely glad to read that you enjoyed our location, very close to the city center, allowing our guests to enjoy the city center within walking distance. Our Front Desk is open 24/7 to answer all of the questions you may have during your stay. We inform you that our housecleaning team enters every room each day to make sure that the cleaning is done properly, following a very strict protocole. Unfortunately, we are aware of the situation regarding our Wifi. Since the street we are based In is not provided with the fibre yet, we are making some changes to try and get the best internet connection possible. As we are still working on it, the Wifi can be a bit slow at some points. We will be pleased to welcome you again for a future stay at the hotel Diana Dauphine, maybe during the Christmas Market ! Best regards, Claire Jaeckel Hotel Manager

The hotel is very closed to the city center. The rooms are new and super nice. I worked for a couple of days on smartworking mode, the room suited perfectly to my needs: a big desk, good lighting, enough sockets and a coffee machine at my disposal. Quality/Price ratio is excellent.

We chose this hotel because of its parking garages. As we arrived there, It took me more than 20minutes to take my car down in the -2 underground slot I was assigned. Very steep slopes, very tight corners. If you travel with a car higher than 1.8m then forget it anyway. And you pay 20€ a night for that adventure. Once there we had a nice room and nothing more. WLAN connection was very poor on 4th floor and Breakfast was impersonal. No contact to staff in any ways. So we left taking another 20min to get out with the car and without having really felt welcome at any time. Very anonymous hotel with no personality of any kind.

Dear Guest, We greatly appreciate that you took the time to share your impressions following your recent experience at Diana Dauphine, but we are really sorry to read that your stay in our hotel didn’t reach your expectations. The Parking is indeed a little narrow, but this is the reason why we ask our guests to provide us with the brand and the model of their car to assign them a parking space which will fit their car. The price of twenty euro per night may appear a little expensive but in comparison to the price of the parking in the streets around the hotel (thirty-five euros for four hours), it is rather suitable. We are pleased to note that you liked your room, but we are very sorry that you experienced a bad WIFI connection. We were struggling to solve the problem and this is today the case. Our staff is constantly at our guests disposal. We try to do our best to satisfy them in every possible aspects and we are really sorry that you didn’t feel it that way. Be assured that we took good note of your comment. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the hotel for a future stay in Strasbourg. Best Regards, Claire Jaeckel Hotel Manager

Let's start with the plusses: The staff is very friendly and offer good service, the location is very good and even though there was a small issue with the bill, this was picked up and corrected quickly. But there were also a few downsides, the biggest one being that we got a very small room. From the emergency floor plan it looked as though we had the smallest room on the first floor. And I know the French have a thing for tiny hotelrooms, but I had hoped for a bit more after seeing the pictures. Another thing was that the breakfast room is not COVID-proof. I understand that it's a small space, but the staff does nothing to make sure that people keep their distance or wear their masks. I only stayed here for one night and that was fine. They have parking (though be careful if you've got a big car) and I didn't need much more than a bed and shower. But if I would stay here for longer I'd choose another place.

Dear Guest, We thank you for taking the time to leave this comment following your stay at the Diana Dauphine Hotel. We are sorry to read that your stay did not live up to your expectations. As you mentioned, our location very close to the city center is perfect for our guests to enjoy our lovely alsacian capital by foot. Our Front Desk is open 24/7 to ensure we can answer any questions our guests might have during their stay at any time. Regarding your room, it would have been greatly appreciated if you could have let us know this directly after your check-in so that we could have switch you to a bigger room. We follow very strict procedures because of the Covid and make sure that everything is respected, such as the social distancing (we only have one table available every two tables at the breakfast). We hope to be able to welcome you again at the Diana Dauphine Hotel so that we can change your mind about this first impression. Best regards, Jonathan Wanner Front Desk Manager
