Helpful and friendly staff, a lovely attic room. Great breakfast. Convenient location. Helpful restaurant recommendations and useful information about tourist attractions. Bicycle storage. Dog friendly - bowls and a dog treat waiting in the room.
Hotel offers everything. Delightful lady calked Stephanie who couldn't do enough for her guests. Wish we'd booked longer. My husband has a blue handicap badge and we had private secure parking at the hotel.
We chose the Hotel du Dragon for our two nights in Strasbourg for three main reasons: its convenience to the Cathedral in one direction and La Petite France in the other, on-site parking and air conditioning. The hotel is well run, the staff is helpful, and the rooms are clean. Our “Classic double” was a bit on the tight side, but it was reasonably priced for a major French city. With few apparent outside breakfast options in the immediate vicinity, we found the hotel’s buffet breakfast to be well worth the additional price. (No such limited options with dinners; there were several nearby possibilities, and we were especially fond of Bistrot des Copains.) I mentioned parking — hotel spaces are quite limited, so book as far in advance as possible; I would not have wanted to deal with on-street issues. We loved our stay and would absolutely be happy to return should we visit Strasbourg again — but maybe in a larger room next time.…
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and near the best sites but was also in a quiet neighborhood away from the noise and crowds. Great secure bicycle storage. Great breakfast! We were very pleased with our stay here.
An absolute gem of a property. We stayed in the junior suite and the room was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The staff - excellent and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The location was perfect. Easy access to the train station and main activities. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. Thank you.
A quiet and charming hotel near the Petite France and just a few minutes walk away from the city center. I got a beautiful corner room with a river view, breathtaking in the day time, safe at night. The hotel staff were always professional and always available, I asked for directions and he very kindly pointed me in the right direction and suggested places to visit during my stay. I recommend this hotel without a doubt!
We booked this hotel as we were looking for something central and with a a garage. The place is quite nice, the position is ideal to visit La Petite France and the centre of Strasbourg. The rooms are ok, but where very small, and the service wasn't really of a 4 star hotel. When struggling getting out of the elevetor with my lagguage, the staff just watched me and didn't even try to help. We found it too expensive for what it actually is.
While the building is historic, the rooms are modern and up-to-date. Located just a short walk to Strasbourg Cathedral and other sites of interest, it is never-the-less quiet at night. I liked the breakfast (included in cost) and the reception staff members were very helpful, helping with luggage and recommending restaurants.
We asked to move from a standard room to a larger room upon arrival and were delighted with the larger room we were given for an extra charge. It was very comfortable, quiet and very clean. Hotel du Dragon is ideally situated to explore Strasbourg, a most beautiful city!
Centrally located, but in the same time in a quiet area. Walking distance from the main attractions. The building looks nice, cosy. You can also book a parking spot. The staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was correct (I was expecting more vegetables).
