INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester is often celebrated for its prime location close to city center attractions and the convenience of public transport. Guests have called out the cleanliness of the hotel, from the well-kept rooms to the modern facilities. While the service receives accolades for being friendly and professional, some travelers have encountered slow responses and inconsistencies.
The rooms are typically described as spacious and comfortable with modern touches, although a few visitors have pointed out design flaws and cleanliness hiccups. The hotel's amenities, including the comfortable beds and extensive breakfast options, are popular among guests, but the open bathroom layout might raise privacy concerns for some. Opinions on value are mixed, with praise for competitive rates but criticism regarding unexpected charges.

Hotel's Favourite
I checked into this Hotel on the 24th of June 23.
I was staying here on a business and leisure trip, on arrival I was checked in by a great team of staff to highlight Dom and Adam they were amazing and checked me in so well, I was upgraded to a room on the top floor by management which was amazing.
The room was so spacious and the amenities you get with this room too was nice.
This room really helped with my business meetings I had for this trip. 10/10
Grateful for the upgrade!
I chose to have dinner downstairs one of the nights and happy I chose to do so the waiter Adam and the chef Pilippo where GREAT, he cooked my steak perfectly and all other food which was ordered. Grateful.
The location of this hotel was great for me to meet family and friends in my spare time as the tram is located just outside.
Overall so happy with this hotel that I did share this to my tiktok account and celebrity friends and family.
Definitely will be booking again and my celebrity friends will be too :-)
Many thanks again much appreciated.

It really is amazing to read how your overall stay was with us and to see such personable touches throughout, from Dom and Adam to even our incredibly talented and hospitable head chef, Pilippo. We hope that after such a review that this will not be your last visit with us and you never know, might even get a Tik Tok collaboration on the next one... #StayCurious

This is the first time that we have stayed at a different hotel when visiting Manchester and I have to say you won’t be disappointed if you stay here.
We paid a little extra for a city view room and it was worth it. The view was amazing.
The hotel room was large and very modern with a walk in rain shower which certainly woke you up in the morning.
The hotel is in a prime location for the bars and restaurants on First Street and the hotel is only a short walk from Oxford Road and Deansgate stations.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly even in these troubling times. They could not do enough to make sure the guests stayed safe.
Everything in the room was wrapped in plastic after it had been disinfected, the cleaners had done a fantastic job.
The bed was very comfy, the only little niggle I had is I would have preferred a harder pillow but that is personal preference and didn’t spoil the overall stay.
The cost of the room was very reasonable and with there being a Q Carpark just behind the hotel makes it a perfect location if driving into Manchester.
We will come back to this hotel!!

I chose Innside after cancelling 2 other hotels as various restrictions limited what they were offering. So glad I did as it was outstanding.
Myself and my girlfriend stayed Fri night for a bit of shopping and a night out in the city centre. While the spa facilities were closed, understandably, Innside were the only decent looking hotel I could find offering a proper breakfast service.
We arrived early afternoon and upon check in were asked if we preferred a room with a bath or shower and lower or higher floor. Really nice and super rare to be given that choice. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Not everyone's taste maybe but certainly couldn't complain about it. I liked it.
In the evening we had a cocktail on the terrace bar which was really nice and again the staff were excellent.
After a short walk up to the city centre we had a beautiful meal at The Ivy and strolled back to the hotel later on. The walk was easy distance and not through any areas you'd rather avoid. The hotel was nice and quiet at night, the huge bed, lovely bedding and effective, quiet air con made the room very comfortable and easy to sleep well in.
Breakfast was served to order at your table by waiting staff and it was fantastic. I strongly recommend paying for it in the inclusive rate as the options you have are so much better than the usual hotel buffet range. I had Bircher muesli, croissants and avocado on toast with bacon. All top quality.
I couldn't recommend this hotel any higher. The staff, the room, the bar, the breakfast and the location all brilliant. Genuinely wouldn't even have known they were operating under such harsh restrictions.

Efficient check in, with a friendly welcoming receptionist. There were lots of little touches that made it feel like they'd gone to a lot of effort to comply with covid guidelines. Sanitisers, sterile packed cutlery, limits on lift numbers etc, it's obviously well run. The room was a really good size for Manchester as well. The hotel is down near the Deansgate Locks area so handy for that, Home, Comedy Store and plenty of other stuff. It's also close to Deansgate and Oxford Rd train stations, one of the free Manchester centre buses (number3) and the metrolink.
The only downside was the bar. The staff where nice, but the menu they give people for table service is totally lacking. No mention of beers or spirits as I recall just cocktails and one or two other bits. I asked for a pint and a vodka and orange and usually in a 4 star hotel there's no need to stipulate orange juice. When it came it was a 1970s style labour club vodka and cordial and very expensive to boot. There was also a 12.5% service charge which is always off putting to me when in the North of England.

I stayed in the INNSiDE Manchester over the Christmas Holiday period and would like to thank Gin from reception for all her help. In fact all the staff from reception, housekeeping to the restaurant made me feel very welcome and made my stay at the hotel most enjoyable. The hotel has an excellent location with good transport links and is only a 15 minute walk from the city centre. My room was spacious with views towards Manchester city centre. WIFI was free with a good connection and there was a mini fridge with free soft drinks which was restocked daily. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom facilities excellent. I had breakfast a few mornings which was enjoyable with good selection of options.

I like how modern the hotel was. It was very clean and open spaced. Staff were very friendly and even included a special surprise cake and card in the room for my partners birthday. There was also a free mini bar included in our room which was very useful. Small special touches like this made a good difference to our stay. The room was quite big and had everything we needed. We also got discounted parking through the hotel using Q-park. We arrived Saturday afternoon and left Sunday lunchtime and our parking was only £12 with the discount so well priced and was located directly across from the hotel so easy enough to find. loads of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance so great location and check out at 12pm suited us as we enjoy a long lie. 100% would stay here again and recommend it to anybody.

Stayed in the Premium King Room. Huge bed, comfy sofa, good size. Lighting is a bit bizarre, difficult to get anything but very bright or very dark. Also no way of turning the toilet light on without turning on the open plan bathroom light on so lights up the bedroom.
Gym, sauna, steam rooms were nice.
Cold selection of breakfast was good but the quality of the hot selection was poor in my opinion.
All in all a nice hotel and would stay again.

Thank you Cham08 for taking the time to share your experience with us. Its great to hear you were able to relax in our Wellness Centre and would return to us in the future. Whilst there is a separate light for the bathroom and I can see how this would have been confusing in the middle of the night so please accept our apologies for this. We are also working hard with our Food and Beverage Team in regards to the breakfast offering as this is the most important meal of the day and we want to get this right. We hope to welcome you again in 2020 to see the continued efforts to keep improving our offerings. Claire

Delightful hotel with lovely rooms - very clean and comfortable. We had a room with a shower rather than a bath and I am glad we selected the shower option as the shower was a dream!! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Location of the hotel is very central - perfect for either the Deansgate area or Spinningfields locality (all within walking distance). Plenty of street parking / discounted car parking nearby too. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.

Where to start?
We have just returned from a two night stay at the Innside Meliá. The hotel is perfectly located in central Manchester with easy access to the trams for access across the whole city. A 10 minute walk gets you into the central area of shops and restaurants.
The hotel itself is faultless, check in was a breeze with key cards issued promptly. Heading to the seventh floor reveals our standard double room. It is well presented and extremely clean.
For a standard hotel room, the rooms itself was large and spacious. It included the usual tea coffee and milk and also had a fridge with still and sparkling water.
We encountered one minor issue with our in room safe in that it would not lock. On speaking with the reception team, a staff member quickly attended the room to investigate. The issue appeared more complex and could not be fixed. After many apologies we were offered the use of the hotels safe at reception to store any valuables. I found this to be totally acceptable and happy that my issue was resolved quickly.
The hotel has a bar area which we used on our first night. There are numerous cocktails and drinks to choose from. We settled for two cocktails which came to £18 (which I believe to be very reasonable for both Manchester and a hotel!).
Breakfast is served in the main restaurant area and is well stocked. They offer a self serve buffet with certain items available on a request service. I requested hash browns and fried eggs. Both were prepared fresh and delivered direct to our table. A lovely little touch for breakfast!
The rest of the buffet was faultless with fresh fruit, yoghurts, breads and cereals. Drinks included fresh coffee, tea and fruit juices.
As mentioned in other reviews, there is a Q park meters away from the hotel and you are entitled to a 25% discount. We stays almost 56 hours and it cost only £26 after discount.
Overall a lovely hotel, fantastic location in central Manchester. Highly recommended! We will be back.

Thank you, fethon_whittingham, so much for this amazing 5* review! We are so happy to see that all areas of the hotel ticked the right boxes for you; from the seamless check-in to our INNSiDE rooms to the fantastic offerings from the First Street Bar & Kitchen team, all of our staff really pull out all the stops to ensure that your stay is comfortable and that the products on offer are of the highest standard. In relation to the issue with the safe, its great to see that the team were able to offer you an alternative secure storage area for your valuables whilst the safe in your room wasn't working as expected, but thank you for mentioning this to the team as our maintenance team did attend to the safe and rectified the issue. We certainly hope that we can welcome you back for your next trip with us where you can sample even more of the cocktail menu.. Thanks once again fethon_whittingham,

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at the Innside hotel. The hotel is in a really nice location. The staff were so lovely and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was located on the 10th floor and we had great views of the city, the room was very sleek and stylish (I loved that the en-suite bathroom was open plan), the bed was so cosy and gorgeous bed linen. My partner received a complimentary drink from the hotel as it was his birthday, which we thought was a lovely gesture and also gave us the opportunity to try one of their lovely cocktails. The hotel had excellent guidelines in place, due to COVID-19 pandemic. We would highly recommend the Innside hotel and would love to come back here for another weekend stay in the near future.
