We stayed here for four nights to see our granddaughter and visit RHS Bridgewater. We have stayed in many Hilton hotels all over the world, silver members, but this one was a disappointment. First the positives- Food in the Podium for breakfast and dinner was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The executive lounge on the 23 floor is excellent. It's in a good position to be able to walk to the various sites in the city. The Hilton app worked well. Now the negatives - We were in room 1602 which is supposed to be their best room apart from a suite. The room is extremely tired with stained worktops and chips. The safety chain on the door was broken. The 'after me' bathroom had a jacuzzi bath with only half the jets working, there was no hand held shower over the bath so you had to get into the shower to wash off your hair. The side jets in the shower didn't work and were furred up. Soap disappeared the first day and never appeared again! Tea and coffee were not always replaced and we had to ask for milk which after two hours still hadn't arrived. The service of the room was very hit and miss. I could go on! There was no Valet parking so you have to park in an NCP nearby. Overall we were very disappointed and we are not sure we would return. There are lots of other hotels in the city. Thank you.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary after our trip to Turkey was cancelled. We arrived early in the afternoon, check in was efficient and our room was ready. We had a nice room on a high floor, lots of space. Covid measures were well signed and clearly explained by staff at each point of contact. As Diamond members we had access to the executive lounge on the 23rd floor, seating was well spaced out, canapes and drinks were served at your table. It looked like they had underestimated occupancy levels as it was quite busy and staff around the hotel were in constant demmand. We had dinner in the ground floor Podium restaurant, the food and service was really good. The hotel is in a great location, close to the Science and Industry museum and many other attractions. The staff were all very pleasant, helpful and efficient. In the exec lounge, Ariel and Lorenzo were rushed off their feet, especially Lorenzo who ran the room on his own for two nights, but maintained a friendly disposition despite being under constant pressure. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Room service has a £4.00 tray charge so be mindful its in very small print on the tv. I had to go down to reception to order my food as no one was answering the phone up to half an hour I even called the hotel direct and no answer, I stood in the queue of people checking in at reception. The view from the room was excellent so see if you can get a higher number room. breakfast is served from 7am and the quality and the staff is excellent, especially Lana Banana such a thoughtful lady who obviously enjoys the interaction with the guests. Attention to detail is needed in the rooms as dust on table legs , probably needs a Spring clean. overall pleasant stay but be mindful of extra charge for Tray service.

I arranged a weekend away for my wife and her friends with various events over a weekend in and around Manchester. After a very enjoyable Friday night in and a range of fantastic events on the Saturday my wife turned up at the hotel to the good news that the requested upgrade for an executive room had been accepted, only to then be told she could not gain entry to the room (paid for from points from our join Hilton Timeshare) unless I was in attendance. This was not possible as I was more than 3 hours away. After a long discussion the desk eventually agreed to let her into the room but would not provide the benefits of the executive lounge without my attendance. To assist, I called Guest Relations in the US who made multiple attempts to call the hotel but with no answer. A similar problem my wife had had earlier in the day when trying to contact the hotel regarding the parking facilities. They suggested I get my wife to get the front desk to call Guest Services when they had time. However, by this time the executive lounge main access time was almost finished. My wife approached a quiet front desk to highlight the need for the front desk to call Guest Services. However, the man who had attended to her previously reiterated his message that I would need to attend the hotel before anything could be done and Guest Services were never contacted.. To prevent this episode from further spoiling her night, my wife's evening she left the front desk and headed out with her friends. However, neither my wife or I will ever be returning to the Manchester Deansgate Hilton again following the poor service and the impact on my wife's 50th celebrations.

HiltonDeansgate staff is absolutely amazing even its busy but there’s no compromise over guest experience. We had a wonderful welcome by Gio he helped us with parking. A big thanks to Adam and Artemis for looking after us. It’s always a treat to sit in the Executive Lounge, Martha was attentive as a host. Breakfast was hot, very well organised and served at Podium restaurant the management and staff will make you feel welcome and good to see Ashley in the restaurant.
