Myself and my partner stayed here for a couple of nights from the 3rd Jan. The room was very comfortable, light and most importantly clean. Not sure about the negative reviews regarding the noise - we didn’t experience anymore noise than any other inner city hotel we’ve stayed in before, our room was facing the back so could be that? If you’re staying in that area of Dublin, you’ll be the ones making noise anyway so don’t let it put you off. Location is fantastic. Very good value for money! Will definitely stay here again when the lockdown is over and we visit Dublin

I found this hotel through Hotel Tonight and was generally pleased with the accommodations. The location is fantastic (right near the heart of everything), the room itself was well appointed (robes, clean bathroom, tv, coffee/tea and great lighting. The major cons for this property I think are issues that all properties in the area experience is that the general merriment of the “Temple Bar Area” means that you’re going to hear the music into the wee hours. I may have had a room that had very little soundproofing but I was fine with it. Bonus btw is that the hotel is right next to a TESCO express so you can get grocery staples in your shorts/flip flops. Overall however, the staff was great, friendly and the location and price can’t be beat.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights and it was perfect. The room was cozy and nice, the staff very friendly and helpful, great location in the heart of the city, and the breakfast was the best I have ever had while staying in a hotel.

I stayed for three nights in this hotel, I chose it for the fair price and location. I had read some reviews saying it would be noisy however the sound of the music from the local bars and associated noise outside went on till about 3am and the volume meant I wasn’t able to sleep. When I did eventually sleep I was awoken on all three occasions by the sounds of those cleaning the streets and clearing rubbish in trucks at about 4am. Although the hotel is pleasant at a decent price be prepared to sacrifice your sleep.

Dear gingebelle, Many thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We are happy that our location really drew you to the Temple Bar Inn. We are so centrally based in the cultural quarter of Temple Bar. Unfortunately, this area is a hive of activity and noise can be unavoidable at times. We do have back facing rooms that are usually quieter. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind Regards Naomi
