We had a truly wonderful stay. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel was spotless and masks were provided both in reception and in the dining area, while there was plenty of hand sanitiser available throughout the hotel and each table in the restaurant and lobby areas. Parking was reasonably priced especially as it is in Dublin. Rooms had everything you could need and were a good size especially as a family of four; with two teens in tow having their own beds was a god send in the family room as many other hotels provide two doubles/kings. My brother and sister-in-law were provided a cot for their two year old daughter and she was fussed over by the staff. The only thing that I would suggest and it does pain me to do so, is maybe a wee update on the irons - but that is maybe down to preference as I prefer a steam iron. Restaurant had plenty on the menu to choose from and every meal was delicious; breakfast was lovely, everything was so fresh and off the highest quality, nothing was too much trouble. I asked for poached eggs on both mornings and the eggs were gorgeous - I know some places struggle to cook a poach egg! The bar had plenty of drinks on the menu, and a good cocktail menu as well, which were really lovely and very well presented. I cannot wait to return to the Skylon hotel. Thank you to Shane and his team for making our stay wonderful.

Fantastic Dublin hotel next to the botanical gardens and within easy reach of Croke Park. We stayed here previously when it was a Best western and we'd say its improved since then. Good service and food was quite nice. Felt Covid safe and clean. Well done Skylon.

Horrendous. Disaster. First of all the staff were horrendous besides the people who are in the bar and restaurant they were exceptional. Other than that the concierge and the other staff who were horrendous in being sexist and made our female friend who was part of our small bubble friend group feel absolutely low in words that should not have been said. Would not recommend as you get treated like dirt when you’re supposed to be a guest at the hotel absolutely disgraceful behaviour especially by the staff who are supposed to follow a company policy by being nice to customers and treating everyone with equal respect. But that was not the case here. Plus this is not mentioning the fact that there was people smoking weed on the next floor from us and they only get ad much strict penalties as we did. That is completely unacceptable will not be staying here anytime soon. Will not recommend to anyone.
