At the heart of Cork, the Leonardo Hotel garners commendation for its prime location and the cleanliness that guests frequently highlight. The hotel staff's professionalism and friendliness are also well-regarded, despite occasional service hiccups at the bar. While some travelers consider the hotel to offer reasonable value, others feel the room rates and additional costs, like parking, are on the steep side. Room experiences vary, with clean, modern spaces with scenic views alongside rooms that could benefit from refurbishment and more comprehensive amenities.

Booked same day which was great, skipped out on breakfast at 20 euro as lady at check in desk informed us it would be given to us in a takeaway bag so we opted to go down the road the next morning.

Room was fabulous, nice bath and very comfortable mattress. Room was equipped with spare towels, iron board, kettle and hairdryer which was great as other hotels we stayed in had taken the kettle out of the room.

Arrived late and was still able to get booked in for food which was greatly appreciated, served by Conor, we got our food in great time and didn't feel rushed even though kitchen was closing. Advise everyone to try the Nachos!! Heavenly. He also asked if we wanted any more drink before he closed which was also appreciated.
Had to park in a separate car park and make our way to the hotel on foot but hotel has agreement with the car park so was charged 12euro for overnight parking which was OK.
Would return again.

Jurys is on the river in the centre of Cork city and close to all amenities. The hotel is nicely decorated, welcoming and staff are very helpful. The beds are comfortable and rooms very clean however housekeeping could pay closer attention to detail, especially anything needing repair. The selection at breakfast is good but could be extended especially to include lattes, cappucinos etc. Im not sure if alternative milks etc are available but there were nothing to indicate they could be requested, however these details would not deter me from staying again. The main problem l found was the lack of parking. Being away at a course all day meant l was not there at check-out each day to see if a space had become available in the small 20 space carpark so l had to park in another close by. Even with a discount from the hotel this was expensive for 5days.

Jury's Inn Cork is an excellent location, very central, lots of bars/restaurants, shops, bus station, and train station within walking distance. Car park is very small and there was a charge of 10 euro for the stay. We were lucky to get a parking space on arrival mid week but this would have been an issue at the weekend and we were hesitant to move the car during our stay for fear we would not have a space on return.
Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Reception and all other public spaces were clean with evidence of Covid guidelines being adhered to.
The restaurant/bar was the aspect of the hotel which we felt let Jury's Inn Cork down the most. Breakfast was a bag dropped outside our door (not what we expected when we had paid for breakfast in our deal when booking). We had breakfast bags dropped outside our room on each morning, all of which were identical - a plain fruit yoghurt, pre-packaged croissant, jam, butter, instant porridge, an apple, and a bottle of orange juice. There was also the option to collect a breakfast ciabatta from downstairs which then had to be eaten in the bedroom. This would have been fine, bar we used very little of the food and it was all left in our room until the end of the stay. It would have been nice to have the option to change up what was in the bags or to make your own choices.

We decided to get a drink in the hotel bar on our first night. In line with current restrictions, bar was table service only as expected. Service was average and there was no atmosphere as we were seated very far away from any other guests at the opposite side of the restaurant. We returned on our 2nd night as there was an evening meal included in our package. Service again was average, particularly in relation to ordering drinks. Bottle of wine included in package could not be swapped so we accepted the bottle of wine despite not being wine drinkers and it ultimately going to waste. Cheap wine was served in a bucket of water rather than ice which ultimately leaked across our table. Food was average with very limited choice on set menu. Ultimately we finished our meals and chose not to stick around. We would recommend going out for evening meals, particularly at the moment as Cork has a fantastic range of outdoor dining experiences on offer!
Ultimately, the hotel was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located, however, may be better suited to business or one-night stays rather than summer staycations.

I stayed here 2nd and 3rd October and I was very impressed with the hotel in general but spacifically the systems in place with regard to infection control. While some hotels have used the pandemic to reduce service Jurys Inn have put in place systems to continue customer service to a high level particularly in the housekeeping department. You are given a card to stipulate how often you wish your room serviced daily/every two days etc. If you choose not to have your room serviced you receive a bag at your door daily containing fresh towels , fresh coffee cups , coffee tea etc and new bin liners. Good on you Jurys !

Me and my "life partner" stayed here over the Christmas period. I don't have a whole pile to say about it, as it was really only a fleeting visit. There was some difficulty with the check in. The staff dropped our luggage to our room after checking in as we were in a hurry.

My "life partner" left her dress in the room after her the next day and the hotel posted it to her, which was much appreciated.

I was unable to travel to Cork on the date I had booked to stay in this hotel. However, there was a red warning storm all over the west coast of Ireland preventing me from being able to travel to this hotel on that date. Local bus services were stopped, preventing travel to Cork and many businesses were closed as people were advised not to travel or leave their house. There was a weather warning in place for Cork also. Very early in the day, I contacted the hotel directly to let them know that I could not travel and the hotel refused to offer me cancellation and would not allow me to move the booking to another date. So I was forced into paying for the room that I was unable to stay in due to exceptional unforeseen circumstances of a red warning storm.

Stayed here for just one night with a friend. Great location, Cork is a small city so this hotel is within walking distance of everything you’d want in the city. The staff were all really helpful. The room was clean and warm and very cosy. Also when you walk into reception , the whole place smells beautiful.

I just stayed in just in Jurys Inn Cork for 3 nights with my father, the hotel was very clean and a perfect location for exploring cork and the surrounding area. The food at breakfast was great as was the food in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly especially the girl who work the hot food at breakfast, I think she was called Ana. Conor and the staff in the restaurant were also very friendly and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning.

Very good value for money and great location.
Car Park is very useful, although small and can be full sometimes at night, but there is a nearby car park or free parking during certain hours (evenings/early morning) around the hotel.
You can obtain a reduced price parking ticket from reception to park around the hotel on the street.

We had a great stay at jury’s inn cork city last night! The staff were amazing from reception to the restaraunt they could not have been nicer and helpful especially as we had two young kids. The hotel room was spotless and very well cleaned and the sanitising stations all over the hotel were great. All staff wore visors and the correct protocol was everywhere In the hotel. The food in the restaraunt was gorgeous. The only let down was the breakfast. We had two young kids who would not eat anything provided in the bag therefor we had to leave the hotel and find them breakfast early this morning in the rain after paying for breakfast in advance I did not think that’s the kind of breakfast we would be provided it’s not good enough for young kids. Breakfast could be easily be done at a booking time or even brought to the room. There are definitely ways around it. Otherwise a great stay!

There is daily fee, but only if you take your car out of the lot. If you walk or use public transit, you only pay once. Most activities are within walking distance of the hotel. I believe the fee is 10 Euro.
