The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and attention to detail is incredible. So much so, we are staying another night!
Breakfast was cooked to perfection and has kept us going all day. Cannot stress enough how much we are enjoying our stay here. If you are planning to stay in Perth, make this top of your list for accommodation!
We were very well looked after by Anne & David. When we booked, we were sent a list of restaurants. Taboo was our choice, an excellent French restaurant.
Breakfast was excellent, what a choice, first class food.
Talking over breakfast with David, we mentioned we had booked to visit Scone Palace We didn't have our car as we had travelled by train. He very kindly said he would take us there.
When we visit Perth again we shall definitely go back to the Beechgrove.

The owners were attentive, never intrusive, and very helpful in making our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The guesthouse itself was only a 5-10 minute stroll into the City Centre, where local recommendations for somewhere to eat were handed out upon check-in, and great local tips on things to do and see were forthcoming.
The breakfasts were excellent and tasty (the home made porridge was excellent, as was the black pudding!), nothing too much trouble, and personalised tastes were remembered throughout our stay. The bedroom was comfortable with a nice garden view, with tea/coffee making facilities and fresh milk delivered each day. The showeroom was cozy but did the job and overall it was an superb stay, highly recommended and one we would return to.
Thanks for a most enjoyable stay and for some great hospitality.
Central Heating had just broken down but Annie was up with electric heater immediately
for our room, and we even had a hot water bottle in our bed after returning from an evening meal
On returning from a meal on the Saturday night we found an Easter Card and two chocolate bunnies in our room, with thoughtful hosts like this, how could anyone want to stop at a hotel.
P.S. The room was superb, the breakfast great, Annie and David can be proud of the service they provide, and we will certainly use the Beechgrove again

It has an excellent location and is very convenient both for the city and the hills above. Breakfast was superb with a great choice and cooked exactly as requested. But what makes this a superlative choice are the owners for whom nothing seems too much trouble. Friendly, engaging and very helpful regarding walks and local attractions. Very highly recommended. Thank you Ann and David.
We had decided to extend our six night holiday to Oban, by "tacking on" a three nighter in Perth. How I wish we'd made it longer. Breakfast was the full Scottish, including black pudding. My partner was well-satisfied with this repast, and I was surprised by the combination of bacon with pancakes and maple syrup. How they do live in Perth! With this kind of breakfast fare under your belt, you're ready for up and doing anything. Our room was a nice size and quite pretty, and overlooked the garden. The bed was comfy and we slept well. The bathroom had the most brilliant walk-in shower - I normally hate showers, and feel like I need to be rescued from drowning - and there was lots of lighting to sort my make-up out. Tea-making facilities for us are of vital importance. I can quite safely vouch that they are the best we have encountered on our world travels. We have never before had a daily delivery of fresh milk to our door in a little metal flask! And equally as important, Beechgrove has Wi-Fi, with an excellent internet connection. Beechgrove is traditional with a twist. The hosts, Annie and David are such lovely people. They were so kind while we stayed there, and seemed to really care that we had a lovely time.
Perth is a wonderful town, but unfortunately, we weren't there long enough to explore it fully. It's like a smaller, calmer version of Edinburgh. The guest house is only a short pleasant walk away from town. There are lots of individual little shops and quaint eateries, as well as the Art Gallery and Museum.
While we stayed at Beech Grove, we also visited Glamis Castle, Blair Castle and Blair Athol Distillery and the wonderful House of Dun, near Montrose, where you get to see almost every room! We will definitely go back soon, and stay at Beechgrove.
My partner researched Perth Guest Houses on the internet. Usually, we book guest houses on personal recommendation. It just goes to show how helpful these reviews can be.
So long, Beechgrove, and thanks for all the bacon and pancakes!
