My wife and I walked from our home in Kirkhill, just over 4 miles for a drink and something to eat at the Coombe Bar, (Bistro Bar). What a treat we had, my steak was cooked perfectly and my wife really liked her scampi. The chips were perfect, very hot and tasty. The staff were great too, from the barman to the waiter. It was a really nice experience and we will be back. The last time we did this was before the pandemic and its nice to see standards haven't dropped. One small request please, is it possible to have a none brioche bun option for the burgers, brioche is just too sweet for me!!!

Went for dinner here in their 'Bar & Bistro' which in fact is just a bar with some tables in another room. I ordered the venison burger while my partner had the steak pie. The burger was tasteless in a dried out brioche bun with some very cheap redcurrent jelly, served with frozen chips and some very nice homemade onion rings (the only home made thing on the plate). The steak pie my partner had was, in her own words, 'It's Ok, had better'. There has to be better in the area and I would doubt we will be back.

Had a very pleasant overnight stay at the Priory. Dinner in the restaurant downstairs was good, served quickly and by friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast this morning was a full scottish with all the trimmings. A great way to start the day. Nice one Priory👌

Dropped in for a coffee on the way north. After sitting for 15min with no acknowledgment from any of the several staff walking about I decided to leave. At at that point someone appeared and asked if I wanted anything. Too late. They were not busy, and there appeared to be plenty of staff so why they shockingly bad service?

Stopped at the Priory to meet over coffee and so impressed with the warm welcome and friendly service. The Hotel is immaculate- obviously very well cared for by the employees who own it. We had a delicious lunch and it was good to see how busy the restaurant is whilst maintaining social distancing and cleaning standards. Plan to come back on a leisure trip and try the new beer garden! Beauly is a lovely town with independent shops surrounded by beautiful countryside. Thank you, Priory Hotel!
