My partner booked this hotel on the premise that there was a few restaurants and a cinema on site. A few days before our booking we were told they’d moved us to the other hotel on site due to ‘low occupancy’ We were told this was the only change. They failed to tell us all the other restaurants were closed and the cinema too. We would of stayed in the premier inn otherwise. We had no choice other than half board either. The room itself was okay, bed was comfy. Tele was old and didn’t have any smart apps or anything. Most of my grievances are down to breakfast service and dinner. Breakfast was a buffet and considering scotland is under tighter restrictions we were surprised at this. Countless people coughing and touching all the utensils meant i couldn’t enjoy it at all. I wanted to get out of there sharpish. It was not pleasant and very uncomfortable with the amount of people coughing sneezing near us. People walking around the food without masks which is the law in scotland. If your moving mask on albiet not staff fault but no one asked them to put a mask on. Dinner service, menu extremely limited to the point we ate out twice despite this being part of the half-board we had paid for. You get £25 each which you’d struggle to get 3 courses out of anything extra you pay for which is not acceptable especially when you ate out for two evenings because of their limited menu. No drinks included even soft drinks. Staff’s English was bad and communication bad. A few times our plates were taken before we’d finished eating. The food was okay, not hot enough though very expensive for what a good pub offers far cheaper On checking out we were told we owed them more money from the mere two times we did eat there. Someone had put their bill on our table. I would not choose to stay here again. We travelled 1200 mile round trip to stay in aviemore, and this hotel was very disappointing

We stayed here on a Christmas package 23rd - 27th and it was fantastic. Our kids loved it and we loved it too. The entertainment was great, the food was great, the staff were all lovely but Santa and the reindeer made it extra special. The location in Aviemore was brilliant too and there were some fab pubs and walks on the door step. Would recommend.

A little bit late but really wanted to leave an amazing review as we had the best time at the Santa weekend. We loved every minute and will defo be back next year. Everything was so well organised we never felt rushed or crowded even though there was so much to do. We arrived around 4.30pm and we’re booked in and in our room rapidly. We loved the tartan theme in the rooms and defo gave you that highland feel! We found every where was we’ll sign posted and even on the one occasion when we were not sure where to find things staff were more than helpful to help us along on our way. There was that “ Christmas feel every where you went”. The food was fantastic Every evening as was the breakfast every morning we ate the most amazing food till we couldn’t eat no more. The Santa visit was amazing and was not rushed and my girls (twins age 9) were so amazed when they came out, the little hut was just magical. The reindeer that came to visit were amazing the staff were so informative and we can’t wait to visit the heard in the mountains in our camper at Easter time. And last but not least was the amazing entertainment team from the disco to the pantomime we have not laughed as much in a long time. All in all we had the best time and defo came away in the Christmas spirit so thank you for an amazing weekend after such a rubbish year we really couldn’t recommend it enough! X

We booked 4 rooms as part of the Hogmanay Party package and loved it. The bedrooms were perfect, clean, beds super comfy with lovely fluffy pillows. The swimming pool/soft play facilities were excellent we used them every day. We were blown away by both the quality and the huge choice of food on offer at both breakfast and evening meal service. The kiddies treat options were fantastic. The Panto and all evening entertainment was brilliant, so much time must go into these performances and it really is appreciated. Well done to each and every one of the staff, you all do a fantastic job and made our holiday perfect. We would love to return and will highly recommend to others. Thank you & well done!

We stayed in one of the lodges from 23rd - 28th December. My 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son had "the best Christmas ever". The entertainment was fantastic and they especially loved the elves, so much so, there were tears on saying goodbye to them. The pantomime was brilliant, in particular Buttons / Creepy Neil. I've not laughed at a panto so much in ages. Plenty jokes for kids and adults alike. Creepy Neil was also brilliant as compere for the evening activities, and a special mention to the rest of the entertainment team who sang and danced with such enthusiasm! Food was top notch and the wait staff were all pleasant and helpful. Only reason it's not a 5 star review is the wifi was out of action for the last three days and the lodges were a wee bit tired looking. Everything else was spot on though - kids want to go back in the summer and next Christmas but not sure budget will stretch to that 😁
