This hotel is ideally situated close to Glasgow Central railway station and is a great location for those arriving in Glasgow by rail. It is about a five minute walk from the station to the hotel and located in the heart of the city centre. We stayed in a triple room (one double bed and a single bed) which was adequately sized, clean and quite modern. There is plenty of storage space and each room comes equipped with an iron, ironing board, coat hangers, towels and tea/coffee making facilities.

The breakfast supplied by the hotel was satisfactory and nothing to write home about. A continental breakfast (basically a pain au chocolat with fruit, oats and an orange juice) was left outside the room door at 0600 and hot food options were available to pick up from the lobby at a time that suits you.

Upon checking out, we asked if we could place our luggage behind the desk so that we could pick it up later on in the day just before catching our train. However, this was not possible due to 'coronavirus' which was of great inconvenience.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and, should we be making a return to Glasgow in the future, we will be considering staying here again due to its fantastic location, cleanliness and comfort.

Have stayed here before for work but we were in Glasgow for a family event this time. This hotel is in a great location in the city centre 5 minutes walk from Central station and about the same to the St Enoch underground station. We had a very friendly greeting at reception and our room was clean and very comfortable with 2 proper chairs which I always like. There were a large number of Irish musicians staying for the weekend so there was a lovely atmosphere as the played together spontaneously in the reception area. The hotel was very quiet during the night and as we had a room on the 10th floor there was little road noise. There is also discounted parking at the Q car park across the street of £8 per day which is a great rate for the city centre but you need to ask at reception for an additional ticket to get this. Will definitely stay here again

Called in quick to be directed to the q park. Parking in the correct carpark, gets you 24 hour parking for £8. Thanks to the reception girls, who are super helpful and friendly. Don't know names, but the spanish girl was brilliant. Infact all staff we saw were warm and welcoming.. The room was better than expected, due to reading some bad reviews beforehand!! Comfy beds, with fabulous mattress toppers, and lovely quality duvets and pillows.. had a great nights sleep. Clean bathroom with plenty hot water. We all had baths (3 of us) tv and tea/coffee tray all working fine. The heating came on when the key card was put into the slot for power in the room. We were comfy and cosy with a great takeaway from Nando's. Deffo stay here again. Carpark was 2 minutes walk away., as was central Station. See for yourself!

Stayed at this Hotel for one night. Although it wasn’t expensive (£85) it was still more than a lot of other Hotels I have stayed in during trips to Glasgow. I mainly picked this Hotel as it was a central location and had access to a car park as I was travelling by car this time (usually take the train).
Upon checking in I asked the receptionist how the reduced rate in Q Park, they advertised on their website, worked and the terms of the stay. I was told in a very confident and definitive manner that when they validate the Q Park ticket and I would receive the parking for £8 for the duration of my stay. Even when I questioned this the receptionist assured me this was the case!
Upon check out the following day another receptionist, very bluntly, told me that it would actually be £8 for the first 24 hours and then the hourly rate thereafter. So despite being told, several times, by the first receptionist that it was a flat fee, I was given differing advice by someone else. As she said when I questioned her "it's only three pound extra"…..not the point!
However when I tried to pay at the car park the cost rocketed to £16 as I has went over the "24 hours and started another 24 hour stay" the Q Park attendant informed me!
I told the attendant the differing advice from the Hotel staff and he informed me they get it all the time and the Hotel staff are giving wrong advice…..so if you are using the Car Park BEWARE!
The stay in the actual Hotel itself was disappointing. It is without a doubt the noisiest Hotel I have ever stayed in with internal and external noise lasting until about 4am! I could hear every word of the adjoining rooms conversation and TV!
There are definitely better, and cheaper, hotels in Glasgow so shop and around is my advice!

A large hotel on the banks of The Clyde river, it’s situated a short stroll from the main railway station and shopping area. That said, the nearest shops include a Lidl, Matalan and a Primark so one must conclude that this is the budget end of town. Staff on reception seemed friendly enough, and I was offered the choice of a room on a low or a high floor. I opted for the latter as I thought it might be quieter, and ended up on the 9th. Although there is a reasonably main road outside, I did not notice any particular noise (other than the A/C unit, which seemed to give a rather loud clunk every now and again, even when it was turned off). The room itself was clean and tidy, and adequately sized, although certainly not spacious. It did seem to have been built to a budget, with no heated floor in the bathroom or soft close loo seat for example, and an over bath shower with a curtain rather than a proper enclosure. There were tea and coffee making facilities but no biscuits, and an iron and ironing board but no safe and no USB sockets. The bed was comfy though, and I slept well.

Breakfast was a help yourself buffet affair, and covered most bases with hot and cold food, cereals, pastries, fruit and so on. The budget conscious nature of the hotel again showed itself though, with a drinks machine that offered merely flat white or hot water – no latte, Americano or Cappuccino. I had a few items from the hot selection including a sausage, fried egg, hash brown and beans, and that all seemed decent enough and there was also a pretty good fruit salad with a few extra bits to add on top.

The hotel includes a bar at the end that looked to be a pleasant and contemporary spot, although I did not venture in. I did notice though that they had Magners cider on tap which seemed very odd – that’s Irish, not Scottish! Why on earth not Thistly Cross? Overall though, a perfectly adequate hotel for a short stay.

Huge room for the amount we paid (£68) - it would have been even cheaper (£58) had I booked it a week earlier when I first looked at it. Large room with railway station and the river views but very quiet. The reduced fee with the Qpark 2 mins walk away was an absolute bargain - £5 instead of £18 for 24hrs parking. Would definitely come back at this price. I'm amazed I could get a hotel this good at this price at this location.

I have many hotel stays under my belt in the UK and abroad,
but Jurys in rates as just an average I'm sorry to say.

Staff are excellent, facilities are good breakfast & bar all favourable.

My only bug bare was towles, 3 beds in a room but only 2 bath towles and one hand towel.

Asked reception to supply correct towles and ended up with 2 more bath towles and all the towles were like using a horse blanket to dry yourself.
For the 3 days the room was made up the towles were never set out correctly as in 2 of everything x 3.

Also glass left on thr bedside cabinet was never remived repalced or washed for all 3 days, I left it there as a test lol.

Oh and when did hotels stop providing some biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities?

We stayed 1 night at this hotel great location but it's noisy we never slept a wink with the noise outside its a very busy area with pubs & restaurants. On the inside the hotel is very nice Rooms are ok apart from the curtains which fell down when we tried to pull them shut so we phoned reception who immediately sent up a handyman who glued them to the wall ! I've a feeling they were like that before . We had a triple room it was a double bed and 1 single camp bed which squeaked Everytime you turned over . Would I stay in this hotel again ? Probably not because of outside noise .

We stayed one night to drop our son off at university . We had a triple room on the 4th floor. Hotel directly backs onto railway lines / station and we were worried about noise but the hotel has triple glazing and it was nice and quiet. Room itself small but functional, bathroom ditto. Felt nice and clean except one of my lies had dirty footprints on it - so we didn’t use it. Staff friendly but only 2 on reception duty. When we came back at night we were pounced on by a very aggressive female security guard who wanted to not only know we were hotel guests but we had to tell her room number and then show her the key which she checked! We felt it was a bit OTT as we are a middle aged couple not a group of young potentially boisterous kids but it made us wonder if the hotel has issues given it’s central location. We used Q park for the parking which was fine once we found it which was quite difficult as it’s a one way system. It’s basically in front of the hotel above Matalan, the hotel could do with putting instructions on it website, there was no breakfast, the receptionist said we could order continental to our room, we didn’t bother it’s in such a central location there are plenty of good cafes nearby. Overall a good solid hotel in a good location - you pay for what you get and we felt we got our monies worth and would stay again.
