Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for 3 nights, 5 minute walk from both train stations and bus station. Hotel is very central with plenty shops, bars and restaurants nearby. On check in we were met by friendly and welcoming staff. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy.,seeing the location, we were concerned about noise but didn’t hear a thing. The breakfast each morning was tasty with a good selection of hot and cold food, although I personally would have liked the option of a couple more hot food items, (tomatoes black pudding or mushrooms) we had a couple of drinks in the bar and the barman was very knowledgeable on the cocktails and drinks were good price. Will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Glasgow

This hotel is really conveniently located a short walk from Buchanan Street and easy walking distance from bus and train stations. It’s not a large hotel so really feels friendly and the staff on reception and at breakfast service were excellent. The decor in common areas is beautiful and feels very relaxing. The standout feature is the wellness suite which is worth a visit if you can and although it’s small it’s perfect for relaxation between shopping and dinner! Breakfast was buffet style but ample selection. The only small niggle really is depending on where your room is, it could overlook the small lane to side which means effectively your curtains are closed so no natural light in room. This wasn’t clear when booking so felt a bit let down by this given the price we paid as our Wellness King Room was over £200 per night. The room also has secondary glazing but the external windows did not seem to close properly so was quite noisy with traffic at times (on 1st floor). The bed was incredibly comfortable as were pillows and room had coffee machine and fridge. Overall I would consider again if price was comparable to similar options in the area

Could not really fault our overnight stay at all. Check in was simple and quick and the staff were very attentive. Room was a little small not what id expected in booking one of their wellness rooms and initially was very warm, however the bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. We visited the Spa which was very enjoyable again spotlessly clean only wish we had tried to book two slots as the 45 minutes flew by. At the bar we met Nick and other members of staff who were a delight and very engaging it would have been easy to stay there all night. Breakfast was everything you could want. The food was warm and very tasty. I would definitely return here a thoroughly enjoyable stay. If I owned a hotel I'd love to have their staff all young friendly and engaging.

After paying a fair amount for a 1 night stay, with breakfast and access to the spa for a 1 hour slot, we felt slightly dissapointed with the spa, as we were under the impression that we had the spa to ourselves for the 1 hour slot. This was not the case as a member of staff came in at one point to check towels and then another couple came in at 18.35. We had the spa booked from 18.00 till 19.00. As the spa was quite small and we were looking to have some quite time, we left at this point, feeling awkward. The plunge pool, was also out of order due to maintenance. We were not informed of this at booking or check in! When we mentioned to the reception staff about the other couple coming in, we were told that because there were so many guests, they could not guarantee that we were alone in the spa. I think going forward, it would be good if they could guarantee this.
The shower in our room had really quite poor water pressure. Rm 605.
All staff were excellent, especially Stephen at the bar and Steven in the restaurant for breakfast on the Saturday morning. The woman at reception, with the Irish accent, sorry, cannot remember her name, was also excellent.
I am unsure whether we we would stay here again. The hotel in a prime location which is good.

Dear Gary, I am truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience during your recent stay with us. It is always our goal to provide a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests, and it is clear that we fell short in this instance. I deeply regret the misunderstanding regarding your wellness suite booking. I understand how frustrating it must have been to expect a private experience and not have that expectation met. We unfortunately cannot guarantee guests a private experience in the wellness suite particularly during levels of high occupancy in the hotel as our club rooms all offer this feature. Having a maximum capacity of 4 people at one time in the wellness suite allows everyone to get the chance to enjoy this perk, however, we understand that this is not for everyone and we will take your feedback on board. Furthermore, I sincerely apologise that you were not informed of the maintenance issue with the plunge pool at the time of booking or check-in. I do also apologise about the poor water pressure in your room's shower. Please be assured that we have noted the issue in room 605 and will address it promptly to prevent future occurrences. Despite these setbacks, I am pleased to hear that our staff provided excellent service, particularly Stephen at the bar, Stephen in the restaurant, and our reception team. I will be sure to pass along your compliments to them. Once again, I deeply apologise for not meeting your expectations and for the inconveniences you faced. We are committed to improving our services and ensuring that such issues do not recur in the future. I hope you will consider staying with us again, allowing us the chance to provide you with the exceptional experience you deserve. Warm regards, Sean Faulds Duty Manager

+1
Bar and Restaurant were excellent. 10/10
Stevie in the breakfast parlour is lovely, so welcoming and friendly and is a real asset to the hotel- Stevie and breakfast 10/10.
Hotel is nice, could do with a few extra touches in the rooms. Warm tap water in a glass bottle on arrival… all rooms could do with fridges and bottled water. We had no tea or milk in our room on arrival.
Bathroom could have done with a better clean, mold round the bath and dust in the fan. Body wash handnt been topped up and the shower wasn’t great. No heated towel rail to dry towels or even a hook to hang your towels up after use. Found the bath/shower combo quite outdated and the rolled up bath mat rather off putting.
Room could do with some refreshments such as shortbread, biscuits, crisps etc which you get in standard rooms elsewhere.
Not a lot of space for sitting doing makeup and hair. Also the same place where you would place tea or coffee facilities so found the coffee machine to be dusty and covered in hair from previous guests so quite off putting.
Gym and Health Suite could do with music to create a better ambiance and definitely a water station and air con in the gym. Cleaning products to wipe down equipment after use would be good too. Health suite water was warm tap water.
Great in places but definitely room for improvement in others.

Dear Stacey, Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback about your recent stay with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our bar and restaurant, and that Stevie made such a positive impact on your breakfast experience—he truly is a valuable asset to our team. However, we are genuinely sorry to hear that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the room amenities, bathroom cleanliness, and gym facilities are important to us, and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. We appreciate your suggestions about adding bottled water and refreshments in the rooms. It is worth noting that we do offer such refreshments in our Club and Wellness Rooms, however, we will review these points to see how we can enhance our overall guest experience. We also regret that the cleanliness of your bathroom was not up to our usual standards, and we'll address this with our housekeeping team immediately to prevent such issues in the future. Your feedback about the makeup and hair station, as well as the placement of tea and coffee facilities, is also valuable. We'll look into ways to make these areas more functional and comfortable for our guests. Additionally, the gym and health suite improvements you suggested are great ideas that we can consider implementing. We strive to provide an excellent experience for all our guests, and your insights help us identify areas where we can improve. Thank you again for your constructive feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a much-improved experience. Warm regards, Sean Faulds Duty Manager

On arrival the receptionist was pleasant and chatty. There was a huge corporate group of some kind in the bar who were very loud and it did make me worry about the atmosphere of my dinner slightly that was coming later. I’d booked a package that included a cocktail on arrival (I had to ask for this after check in), dinner credit, chocolates in the room and breakfast. Check in was fine and I was directed to my room. I wasn’t given any information on timings for meals or any hotel facilities.
The room was large and clean. It was noisy as it was facing the street. I was woken in the night by a man screaming loudly, by bottle bins being emptied and by a seagull at my window on the ledge. If I stayed there again, I’d ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. The bed was comfy and the linens felt nice.
There was a small box of chocolates on the table in my room. There was however nothing acknowledging my celebration (would only expect a note from the hotel). There was no water in the room. The room was bare - it was almost as if they’d forgot someone was staying in it. The bed and TV were fine but when paying £229 for a night, I’d have hoped for something a little more memorable considering the occasion and the other reviews on here.
The service in the restaurant was brilliant and the waitress was incredible. Highlight of the stay for sure - I believe her name was Rhiannon. She was friendly, timely and chatty.
I didn’t go to breakfast for having to get off to work and not having any information given about breakfast in the room, either at check in or within the room. I left The Address feeling a little deflated. Whilst it was a perfectly okay overnight (despite being noisy at times), I’d have hoped for much more when buying a special package and celebrating an occasion.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your recent stay with us. We're glad to hear that our receptionist made a positive first impression and that you enjoyed the service in the restaurant, especially from Rhianna. We will ensure she receives your kind words. However, we're sorry to hear that other aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We apologize for the noise disturbances you experienced and the lack of information provided about meal timings and hotel facilities. Your feedback is crucial for us to improve, and we will address these issues with our team to ensure better communication with our guests. Regarding the chocolates and lack of acknowledgment of your celebration, we apologize for the oversight. We aim to make every stay special, especially for celebratory occasions, and we're sorry we missed the mark this time. We also regret that the room felt bare and that certain details were lacking, such as the absence of water and the overall atmosphere of the room. We take your comments seriously and will review our room amenities and preparation standards to ensure a more memorable experience for our guests. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide a stay that exceeds your expectations. Kind regards, Duty Manager

I visited The Address with my partner and we had such a great experience!
We were checked in by Aimee who is an absolute credit to the hospitality industry as she was warm, helpful and extremely accommodating, offering us the best of service and always smiling.
We booked a Club room and we were extremely comfortable.
Everything was clean to an exceptional standard and we were even offered one of the few rooms with a bath which we enjoyed.
The only downsides were the view, which wasn’t a big deal as it was explained when we checked in and we weren’t too fussed, and the TV was annoying. The remote had a mind of its own at times, Netflix would log you out randomly, and on live TV you had to flick through the channels to see what was on, only to be told the wrong programme.
Again, not a massive deal as the spa and services available more than made up for it. The room was so massive that I could barely see the TV anyway!
The spa was a huge selling point for us and it was so good that we visited more than once during our overnight stay for our anniversary. The sauna and plunge pool were excellent.
The staff were extremely flexible with the booking slots as I changed mine a couple of times.
Breakfast was lovely with everything we could have asked for, even the coffee from the machine was good!
The hotel is very central and just a stone's throw from some of the best eateries in the city.
Overall a lovely experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to make a return as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Thanks again to Aimee and the rest of the staff for making our stay one to remember.

Dear Jake, Firstly, thank you for taking the time to leave us such a detailed, lovely review. I am delighted to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your time at the Address Glasgow, including your comfortable club room with a bath, and found everything to be of an immaculate standard - which is what we strive for! Additionally, thank you for giving Aimee so much recognition for all her hard work. She is a credit to the hotel and I am happy to see her hard work being noticed and appreciated. I have passed over your compliments and she is thrilled. It is also awesome to hear that you made good use of our Wellness Suite and found the sauna and plunge pool to be excellent. I am glad that we were able to be flexible and book you in more than once so you could enjoy this relaxed space as much as possible. Thank you for also mentioning our hotel's central location which, as you stated, is just a stone's throw away from the best restaurants in the city! I do apologise about the issues in which you had with the TV and I am disappointment that we were not able to resolve this for you, however, I am glad to see that this will not stop you from returning. Overall, we are excited to welcome you back to the Address Glasgow and hopefully we can further exceed your expectations. Warm Regards, Sean Faulds Duty Manager

This was our second visit to The Address and it was even better than the first. Marcello took care of us on arrival and ensured we we had all the information we needed for our stay. While we enjoyed a cup of coffee he came over and offered to take our case up to our room on the sixth floor. While we waited on our room he explained how the hotel had been full the night before and as it was their one year anniversary and he kindly upgraded our room for us. The facilities in the room were excellent which included bottles of water, a little box of chocolates and a golden ticket to celebrate the hotel’s anniversary. He recommended the restaurant and I must say the food was delicious and reasonable. After having a delicious breakfast we saw Marcello and he gave us his full attention once again. He was so friendly, pleasant and professional. We had a few lovely conversations with Katie too. We met her before in April and she is extremely professional and so very friendly. The restaurant/bar staff and housekeeping were also friendly and provided a high service. We will be back to The Address after the year and hope to meet Marcello and Katie once again. Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas.

Stayed 2 nights with some friends. Staff both at the front desk and in the bar/dining could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
Comfortable room on the fifth floor looking out onto Renfield Street. The room was well proportioned, the bed super comfy. My only suggestion would be maybe upgrading to a Nespresso machine rather than instant coffee but it’s a minor (and personal) thing.
Found everything lovely and quiet at night, surprisingly so for being so central, even with windows open. My friends commented on the glass bin collection bins in the morning but as I live in Edinburgh (they were up from London) it’s a sound I’m used to.
We didn’t try the gym/sauna but given more time would have loved to, did indulge in a late night room service for wine which was a lovely indulgence.
Would absolutely stay here again for service, room quality and location.

I am thrilled to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your stay with us and found the staff to be incredibly accommodating and helpful. It is amazing to hear that you were pleased with your room and found it to be comfortable. Your suggestion about the upgraded coffee machine is noted, and we do offer these in our club rooms for booking with us in the future. Despite being a city centre hotel, I am happy to hear that you didn't experience much noise during your stay here, even with the window opened. My family and I booked The Address at the last minute on our travels through the UK up into Glasgow. The online booking process for our 2 rooms was seamless and straight forward and when we arrived, we were allocated two rooms right beside each other as requested. The staff were so warm and friendly upon our arrival and helped direct us to the nearest car park and took care of our luggage whilst we parked our car. Our 2 night stay was so pleasant and relaxing. The bed was comfortable, the pillows a dream and the room as a whole was just so comfortable and cosy - we didn't want to leave it! The hotel is in a brilliant unbeatable location. Close to fantastic pubs, shopping, laneways and shopping centres. The staff again were brilliant. We had the most pleasant interactions with all staff who have left a lifelong impression on us and how we can now associate the Scots with the most friendliest, helpful people on earth! If we ever return to Glasgow we will certainly be coming back to The Address!!! Thank you for making our stay seamless, comfortable and pleasant!
