Had a nights break with the family and our black Labrador, St. Andrews was getting ready for the Dunhill Cup , new refurbishment and looks fantastic, a definite rival to the Old Course hotel, the staff were fantastic and were a delight to be around, could not make our dog more welcome, from the checkin to the individual letter welcoming the Bonnie to the hotel, bed, bowl and dog treats 🐶 We even had a table set for breakfast with water and breakfast for Bonnie 👏👏 Unfortunately didn't get to try the new rooftop restaurant 18 as it was reserved for Dunhill visitors, a definite reason to go back. Well done to the team for making us most welcome and feel we have a new favourite in the home of golf

Well, I’m lost for words. I am truly OBSESSED with your hotel. What a transformation from when I visited over a year ago. Everything about the hotel is fantastic and has such a warm yet luxurious feel to it. The snooker room off the lobby is a great place to watch the Ryder Cup, play snooker or even cards. The aperol spritz was delicious - something I always find places never do it quite right! Up on the top floor of the new building you will find 18, a fantastic rooftop bar with terrace. Can’t wait to come back. I really mean that! If you are visiting St Andrews, this is where you want to stay. I’ve been visiting St Andrews since I was a kid and have stayed at several places over town. This is absolutely without a doubt my new place to stay!

It was our first time visiting St. Andrews and our expectations for the experience were quite high. Hotels play an important role for any trip and the Rusacks was the perfect place to stay, checking every box during our visit. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious and had an incredible view overlooking the 18th fairway of the Old Course. We really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee while watching golfers hit their final approach shots into the 18th green. The beach and sea in the background weren’t too bad either! The hotel has multiple restaurants / bars, but we only visited the Bridge restaurant. It was so good we had to go multiple times. The food was delicious and the cocktails were very well crafted. We highly recommend the burrata appetizer and mushroom pizza, but almost anything on the menu is a winner. All in all, the experience was everything we wanted and more. We absolutely loved the hotel and the staff delivered top notch service every step of the way. Seamus and his team have done a great job. We will certainly be coming back to Rusacks and recommend it for anyone visiting St. Andrews.
