Ten Hill Place is one of Edinburgh’s most desirable city-center hotels. Our stylish hotel boasts a number of awards including conference hotel of the year 2015 and hotel chef of the year. We have 129 bedrooms, and are consistently praised for our very friendly staff and going that extra mile to ensure our guests enjoy their stay. As a result, we have many customers that visit us repeatedly. We are a matter of minutes away from all Edinburgh city-center attractions by foot and are close to all local transport links if you want to venture that little bit further. Our wine-bar and restaurant provide the best quality Scottish produce with a vast plethora of Corney and Barrow wines. We are Edinburgh's charitable hotel and donate profits to The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Money spent at the hotel improves patient outcomes and saves lives the world over by delivering much needed surgical skills to all corners of the globe. Why not consider us the next time you visit Edinburgh?

Neighbourhood
Southside & Holyrood
Many of Edinburgh’s student hangouts gather around university buildings in Southside, the sort of neighbourhood that supports a long string of second-hand shops and eateries serving ethnic food for just a few pounds. In August the student population is replaced by vast numbers of boisterous visitors here for the Fringe, Edinburgh’s world-class comedy and arts festival which headquarters itself here. Flanking Southside are two great parks. The Meadows is a vast flat and sporty space where football, rugby, tennis, cricket, croquet, and golf often all take place side by side. Kids in its big playgrounds add to the joyful noise. Far bigger and much wilder, Holyrood Park extends to the east and provides a real hike up Arthur’s Seat, but the district is best known as the site of Scotland’s Parliament and its premier Royal Palace—and their steady stream of sightseers.

If we take the Airlink 100 service from the airport, which stop is closest to the hotel? Thanks
Hello Julie B, With the Airlink 100 you would need to get off at the stop at Waverly Bridge and then it is about a 10-15 minute walk uphill Ten Hill Place. There are other buses that run from the airport, the Skylink 300 would bring you closer to us you would need the stop at Nicholson Square. This is only a few minutes’ walk from us. I hope this helps. Kind regards Lesley
