Arrived here after a long trip with my 2 month old daughter, husband and brother to find the room in such a mess. Travel cot that I had asked for had dirt and dust in all four corners and was ripped. The toilet walls where yellow and underneath the sink where the unit is was all cut open. The pull out beds I also requested had springs sticking right out of them. The room was absolutely freezing and it smelled really bad. Took one look and turned around and left as my daughter was crying due to the long trip we had and she just wanted her bed but no way would I let her stay in such conditions. Ended up having to pay out a further £90 for the invercarse hotel which I do recommend. Returned the next day complained was given a refund thankfully and the lady at the reception told me the hotel is in really poor condition and it’s being sold so they won’t spend money on it. Which shocked me entirely as people are still booking this place and there expected to stay in such conditions it’s ridiculous.

Firstly the staff were fantastic from the receptionist to the waitresses and made a great fuss of the children. The room while basic was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The grandchildren loved it. The Dinner and drinks were very good value. The breakfast was one of the best we have eaten, actually better than the four and five star hotel breakfasts we have had in the past. Thanks guys for a lovely time.

Top marks for friendliness and cleanliness . Tucked away but close to many places . Quiet and friendly place to stay . Cost was very reasonable . Paid the extra for flexi stay as I wasn’t sure I could go but price was still very competitive.
