Stayed in a superior waterfront room, which was pleasant and roomy. The air con didn’t work, but fan and openable windows worked. Bar was busy, we were promptly served by a smart young man. Breakfast was fine, although we couldn’t book an 8.30 slot, got 09.45 instead, service was good and omelette had great flavour. The big down was the boy racers on the roads in front of the hotel, reviving engines and racing round for much of the late night, well into the small hours. Spoilt a good nights sleep, so hope the management further their complaints with the police.

Second visit since Covid first this year. As always staff are delightful. Reception colleague greeted us by name. Room was kept cool by fan and closed curtains which was set up by room staff so very cool on entry. I have commented before on food particularly the dinner menu. Whist it was much better than when we visited just after the last lockdown bit is still limited. No chicken pizza or fresh vegetables. Spicy sauce with pasta catch of the day limited to weekend. Burger bun had seeds. Starter of garlic mushrooms was cold and not garlicky. We are coming back as a family soon hopefully menu will be better.

Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Great view from room, overlooking all the water sports. Dinner was great. Unfortunately the room was too hot with no AC but they did provide fans. Great location for visiting V&A.

The room was excessively hot and there was no air con which made it unpleasant to spend time there and difficult to sleep. Food quality was poor due to low quality ingredients - horrible burger, terrible coffee, very ordinary sliced bread for toast.
