Lovely apartment set in centre of Oban on a quiet street. The bed was so comfortable and the place was very spacious. A big negative was the fact that the internet was non existent and you had to stand at the window to get phone signal. Impossible to do any work and really needs addressed in this day and age. Some of the dishes and cutlery had been put away unwashed but that said, I would stay here again. It is very convenient and good value for money.

Lovely stay. Room was cozy and quiet. We were on the 1st floor.Enjoyed the breakfast had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup yum. Staff were all lovely. Liked that you can get a great deal in the Lorne restaurant a few doors down 2 courses for £15 when you book through the Ranald Hotel.

Great place to stay in Oban. Quiet and confortable. A special thanks to the staff who helped us with a critical issue and more particularly to Emma. I would warmly recommend this place when travelling or visiting Scotland. It’s so easy to cross to Mull Island from there

Comfortable and spacious room. Spotlessly clean. Only downside was the large bed was actually 2 single beds zipped together which was a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was pretty good too. No full Scottish but lovely scrambled eggs and bacon.

Beautiful room, spotless and well presented. The self close hinge on the bathroom door is lethal, very strong and would be very easy to hurt yourself. Zip link single beds are not a suitable option for a double bed unless a double mattress is put over the top. The join in the bed is always obvious and difficult to sleep on so makes cuddling up to sleep as a couple impossible. Amazing black out blinds and curtains, not a bit of light got through in the morning. Didn’t have breakfast as we slept so late so I can’t comment on that. Check in and out was great with friendly helpful staff. The meal at The Lorna next door as part of the DBB rate was very good and the service excellent.

Lovely boutique hotel. Room was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Nice location not far from the main streets. Wetherspoons not far away. Only downside was parking. Can park between 6p.m. and 9a.m. for free.

Lovely wee hotel close to all amenities.Staff very friendly and welcoming. We had a double room, spacious clean and a good sized bathroom, great shower.Breakfast was continental but also offered cooked breakfast made to order. All very nice. Not a lot of space in the lounge but they make it work.My only gripe would be no lift and the parking situation was a bit of a pain.Had to renew the ticket every 2 hrs up until 6pm then it’s free. Not the hotels fault.Lovely stay and we’ll certainly be back

This hotel has no lift. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. The bathroom door is on a heavy spring that slams shut after each opening. We ran out of toilet paper in the night and had to go to the desk in the morning for more—no apology Breakfast had some hot items but this was not explained to us. We only found out when we saw what other guests were eating.
