Such a lovely wee bnb. It's in a very convenient spot being very close to the town centre. The front garden is just gorgeous with a mosaic of lovely colourful flowers. My room was very sweet and cosy, with a very comfy bed (and brushed cotton covers), plenty of storage and spacious bathroom with shower. There were some refreshments laid out for my arrival, some fresh berries and without a doubt the best shortbread biscuits I've ever had. There were several different choices of tea and coffee, with both regular milk and oat milk - I appreciate the inclusivity. The room had a tv and sky package so I could enjoy watching Wimbledon as I wound down for the evening. The team were incredibly polite and eager to help throughout, and their pets were adorable and incredibly well-natured and mannered. I would highly recommend Bamse B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable wee place to stay.

My wife & I enjoyed a lovely mid week break here, a delightful base for us to explore the wonderful coastline to the north and south of Montrose. Gordon and Ewan are great hosts & have created a very comfortable B&B in this tastefully renovated property. The breakfast, in both choice & quality, is quite superb and an evening meal can be provided upon request. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B as long as you are able to climb a few stairs as the bright & immaculately clean guest rooms are located on the 2nd floor

What a great B&B, stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and walking distance to town and the beach. The room was really comfortable, comfy bed, nice fresh linen and good wifi signal. The bathroom was a good size with an excellent power shower and really lovely shampoo and shower gel. The hosts attention to detail and thoughtful, quality touches really elevates this place. Not your average B&B instant coffee and 3 pack biscuits but a fabulous range of premium teas, ground coffee bags, delicious scones and biscuits from a local bakery and fresh fruit. The hosts even provided ear plugs, being so close to the sea and harbour, the seagulls can be quite noisy. The Scottish breakfast was amazing, absolutely delicious, plenty of it plus sourcing produce from other local businesses was highlighted and nice to see. Bamse B&B is properly dog friendly, not just "dog tolerant" with our dog being given his own bed plus a doggy placemat and bowls. It's all those little extra touches that really make this a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for taking the time to not only notice and appreciate all the little touches we’ve placed throughout our B&B. We pride ourselves on local and fresh produce which can be challenging during current times but we genuinely believe it’s the only way to go. And your absolutely right we really are dog friendly having an American bulldog of our own who absolutely loves to travel with us we very much appreciate when he’s made to feel welcome. Hopefully we’ll see you again soon.

I would highly recommend this place. Great location and they take the COVID-19 seriously. Everything is cleaned between guests including the breakfast room, only one room allowed at a set time. Top notch to them.
