We said here with our two boys on a very last minute break and I’m so glad we came across this place, the breakfast was absolutely amazing, the location was perfect, the room spotless and most of all the family were so lovely even made my son toast for his supper as he was hungry. We haven’t managed any family breaks in a long time so this was precious family time! Thank u can’t wait to come back

What an absolute delight to stay here. We had a perfect overnight here at a busy bank holiday. The room was exceptional and spotlessly clean the breakfast was 20/10 the selection of fresh fruit and juices was amazing. I can honestly say that we were made to feel at home abs would highly recommend staying here. It really is a great guest house. We didn’t want to leave! So close to the beach and shops and a few pubs. Nothing was too much for Lisa she was the perfect host and we will definitely be back . Must say a special thank you to aria who shared all her toys with my son. We cannot wait to go back!

Reviewing this for my partner as he went alone to play golf . Lisa was beyond an excellent host and went out of her way to make the stay wonderful. The room was large and spotless . Lovely bed , bedding and fresh towels . Room was thoroughly cleaned everyday to come back to . Breakfast was whatever you would like and at a time to suit you which is an excellent service . This lovely guesthouse is based right in the centre ,so an amazing location to get around the local area . Would not stay anywhere else now next time I visit Carnoustie.

Wow! We loved this place, I took the children to the V&A in Dundee and decided to make a trip out of it by staying over, as the guesthouse was only 25 minutes away and by the beach, we’re so glad we did! Our host was so welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay so comfortable. She recommended a fabulous place for dinner, the railway hotel which was a short walk from the guesthouse. A great spot for families with friendly staff. Afterwards the children watched the trains on the bridge next to the restaurant waving to the signal man in his box, then finished off the evening in the fabulous park on the beach. The kids had a blast and we had a great room with three single beds, very comfortable with nice touches like the nespresso machine. The room was so peaceful and we didn’t hear a pin drop all night. Everything looks brand new and was very stylish. In the morning we had a delicious full Scottish breakfast cooked to order. It’s a 10/10 from us and we’ll certainly be back as I’m sure there’s much more in the area to explore. Well done Lochtybank!

Visited for one night made very welcome by Lisa, great breakfast as other guests have mentioned. Clean linen. Close to shops and restaurants. Would recommend.... On site parking bit difficult to find at first as the guest house is set back from the main road.
