This is a gorgeous B&B with a lovely garden with roses, a large lawn and trees . The property is beautifully furnished to a very high standard. We stayed in Room 1. It doesn't have a garden view but it is on the ground floor so has good access to the front door and the breakfast room and it is lovely and bright, spacious and tastefully furnished 5 star room. The new owners are lovely and made us very welcome. They are very kind and hospitable. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We should have been in Italy but due to Covid19 this was cancelled. We were recommended to stay here and were not disappointed. Urs & Anika really looked after us and there was nothing negative . Bedrooms were massive as was the En Suite. Breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. The place was spotless and decorated in a lovely way. It was probably better than staying at a quality hotel as staying here you are not just a number but genuine guest in their house. We were fortunate to have warm weather so could sit outside in the covered terrace and enjoy a complimentary cold beer. We cannot recommend the Brucefield B&B highly enough and we do not say this very often. Well Done Urs & Anita!

My wife and I stayed for a few days early September. We were greeted with a lovely welcome and show to our room. The room was stunning. Pristine and Beautifully decorated. The attention to detail was amazing and the owners could not be more helpful. Even making Lobster butter and offering this with our breakfast toast. I will certainly be going back.

We arrived to celebrate my husband’s birthday and were greeted warmly by Urs the owner of the property. He showed us the communal areas where there were many complimentary snacks and drinks available. Just outside on the porch was a seated area with candles and if chilly, blankets could be provided. We were shown to our room No 1 Kilchurn Castle, which was lovely and decorated to a high standard. The en-suite shower room was lovely and both bathrobes & slippers were provided for comfort. To make our celebration even more special, chocolates, flowers and Prosecco along with a birthday card, awaited us, but extras in our fridge included fresh juice, water and milk, over and above tea and coffee making facilities. After a very comfortable rest, the breakfast was served in a delightful room. Coffee/tea, cereals, fruit, yoghurts then the main Scottish breakfast (preordered the night before) arrived piping hot and delicious. We even found room for some of Anita’s homemade cheesecake. All in all an excellent stay and highly recommended. This is a 5 star B&B that appears more like a Hotel 🏨 I will certainly return again 🇨🇭

When we arrived we were greeted immediately by Urs in the car park and given our own designated spot. We were then led into the building and introduced to Urs Wife Anita and we felt like we had known them for years. We were shown all the amenities from the dining room to the mini bar and lounge area which is beautifully decorated and light and airy . We were very surprised how much was included in the price ;theres a mini bar in the lounge which has a lovely selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, there are snacks left in bowls for you to help yourself to and fresh fruit . We were then taken to our room which was immaculate and had a lovely view of the beautiful garden. The closet had a small fridge which had still and sparkling water, fresh milk and orange juice again included in the price and on the desk was tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits . Anything used was replaced the next day so you always had a fresh supply . The bathroom was spotless and had a lovely spacious shower and had lots of fluffy towels ; we were shown down the hallway to a bathroom with a large tub incase we felt like a good soak . The breakfast is very substantial and if not wanting a cooked breakfast you can help yourself to cereal, fruit or yoghurts. The garden is a sun trap and is well tended too with swing chairs dotted around and even a little putting green hidden away .Theres a veranda at the front of the house to sit and enjoy the sunshine . Urs and Anita cannot do enough for you they treat you like old friends and are so welcoming . I have disabilities and was asked often if I was ok and if I needed anything to make my stay more comfortable . A gorgeous place with wonderful hosts and we would love to stay again
