No have not stayed on the ground floor. We have stayed in the Eagle in the Town house, which was on the top floor, so quiet, but no windows only a skylight, it was quiet, but we missed the window. Also stayed in the Ambassador in the main building, but this is situated on a corridor adjoining the restaurant, so not as quiet as flying cloud which as mentioned is situated opposite side. If Cambrian is below flying cloud it should be quiet.
