It’s a big claim to suggest a hotel is the best! Grant - although in terms of value for money, I will only stay in a Dakota Hotel where available for the rest of my life. Hands down, a magnificent experience for a reasonable price. The moment you arrive, there is a charmed and

Seriously impressed by this smart city centre hotel. Really nice hotel, smart and central. Cool modern interior (I think, as the lighting is subdued); bedrooms are small but perfectly equipped, quiet and oh the most comfortable bed and pillows. Almost tempted to take the pillows

When you arrive they will need to take a credit card swipe for you to charge any additional items to such as bar drinks etc. You could empty the minibar and leave without telling them! I hope this answers your question.

There was a car park a short walk away but we used the Hotel's Valet parking option which was £30 (from what I remember). It was an excellent service. A very nice man met us at the front entrance of the Hotel, carried our bags inside, we gave him the car keys and he parked the car for us. When we left, our car was waiting for us parked right outside the Hotel. It was worth every penny.
