We thoroughly enjoyed our last stay here so decided a return visit was long overdue. Top notch. We were given one of the newly refurbished rooms on the first floor and have to say, they've done a stunning job. All good including the lovely breakfast.

Excellent overnight stay - very welcoming. Our room had great facilities, was newly refurbished, was very clean and the beds were ‘super comfy’. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Even though it was overlooking the A12, the quadruple glazing kept the room quiet. Will

I did not know the area so as ever in these circumstances one gambles! It paid off for me. I was greeted in a helpful and friendly manner and shown to a very comfortable and spotless room. I had one query and the Host dealt with it promptly. A bonus for me was that this

At no time were we inconsiderate or rude. We made a courtesy call prior to arrival and received a reply from you a little while later. We explained that we closed at 10.30pm and you said that you would not arrive until at least 10.40 (experience has told shown that this will be somewhat later). You knew the time of check -in when you booked and it is your responsibility to ensure you arrive on time. We start at 6.30am and don't finish until 10.30pm. We are not being difficult or rude but we have to close at some point. The reality of the situation is that you made a non-refundable booking and you expected us to stay late for your convenience and we didn't. Maybe you should organise your self better in future instead of blaming us.
