Family room for 4, nice and clean, quiet. Good prices. Not enough plug sockets. Just 2 which was in use with the telly and kettle. Would like extra sockets by the beds.(most hotels are like this though) parking outside.
Stopped here overnight after a nearby wedding, we did not see the room until we got there after the celebrations
We went into the room to be met by a horrible smell, but we were so tired we put up with it.

Fab for the price and couldn't fault the location for exploring the local area. Staff were friendly and the room was fine for our needs. Located within the services. We noticed to traffic noise to speak of.

Looking on Google maps it's not far at all to get there - there's a service road from the back of the Services that you can normally take, then it's just a couple of country lanes to get to Rookery Manor (Strowlands the Edinworth Road) - I'm guessing 15 - 20 minutes drivemaximum. Not sure about getting back though - would be a good idea to check with reception to see if you can return to the site using the service road (it's quite narrow!) - but if not it doesn't take more than 10/15 mins to go the long way round down the A38 to the Burnham junction of the M5 then back up to use the main services entry. Hope that helps.
