Stayed here for 1 night in January as a birthday treat. Hotel is beautiful, staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. An absolute delight. Location fantastic for central bath yet by a beautiful park. Cant wait to return and I'll be sure to book here when I do.

I brought my Mum here for two nights as a birthday treat & it was a trip down memory lane having moved away from from Bath 35 years ago. The hotel, staff & service were superb - our room was beautifully decorated and the staff were happy to help with our minor requests. The

my only real issue with the hotel was the room and its location in relation to the hotels extraction unit. Our room - 301 - was single glazed. On the roof adjacent to our room was the hotels extraction unit. This runs 24/7. safe to say sleep was at a premium

Lovely, characterful hotel with very pleasant staff. Centrally situated and very convenient for visiting the Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge. Lots of long corridors as the building was originally 7 separate townhouses. We had a superior room which was

Sorry, we had only breakfast included, we had to pay full price for dinner and just ordered what we wanted off the menu.

Hi, sorry also just seen your post, that should not be a problem, just ring and let them know the expected arrival time, staff work thru the night.

The Charlotte Street car park is a few minutes walk away. It is huge (1000+places) and you can pay by the hour, day, multiple days with multiple exit/entry (there are no barriers). We used it for our 4 day stay at The Francis and it was ideal. Had no security problems. You can pay via your phone - instructions are on the noticeboards in the car park - via the MiPermit system and you will get reminders of expiry and the ability to extend your stay via text remotely without having to return to the car park. i found it great.

Is the hotel pet friendly?
I didn’t see any pets in the hotel. It didn’t seem to me to be somewhere to take a pet. I’m not sure I would take my dog to Bath as a destination though. Not much scope for them to come with you into anywhere in town
