This was a wonderful surprise as generally I am not a fan of Wetherspoons from previous experiences in other places This was a great change we stopped in several times for food and drinks We sat outside as we had our bikes and ordered via the app brilliant Drinks arrived very quickly followed by hot freshly cooked food Was a pleasant experience food was good and jugs of Pimms were great Would definitely recommend

Called in for a drink, think this is one of the better pubs in this particular chain.. it's very big, well laid out and the staff are on the ball... Drinks were great and a good price too.. tables were very clean and there was plenty of space between the tables.. overall a good place for a drink.

Stayed Monday 22nd to break our journey up from Cornwall. Great value for the area. Rooms are looking a bit tired now, but very clean and a good size. We ate out this evening, but the bar was fairly steady when we returned and was servicing the huge outside area too. Had a chat with Chris who was doing a great job running the shift! Breakfast was good value and service was very fast. Made for an enjoyable stop over.

Excellent service, very professional staff and good value. The management here have built a strong team, attentive, brisk but friendly. If only every Wetherspoon delivered like this team. Thanks to the very standards we've had a very enjoyable afternoon.
