Booked this hotel on previous reviews. It was a lovely small boutique hotel and great architecture. Made to feel welcome by lovely receptionist Jenny. Had booked the basement room, which was large, had a small kitchenette, not too claustrophobic, as had a skylight window and was airy. The king size bed and sofa bed were not hugely comfortable. We were also kept awake by the staircase lights coming on and off all night (faulty sensor?) The room was very dusty and started my partners nose streaming! It was a cold and very rainy night and would have been nice to have had the underfloor heating switched on for our visit. Breakfast the next morning was a little let down as was told this was included in our room cost. As it happened it included a cold buffet breakfast and you had to pay extra for a cooked one. A little misleading and should be explained on booking over the phone.
I'm sure there are better bed rooms available. The interior of the rest of the hotel was lovely.

Had a very enjoyable business lunch here at this former outlier of the eponymous school in Hammersmith. The interiors are classic, light and airy, lots of dark wood that you can imagine being pounded by pupils galloping along the halls. The room for our lunch, on the lower ground floor, comfortably seats 20 people without being cramped. The menu choices were varied, catering for vegetarians and carnivores. I had lobster and prawn cocktail starter but there were pumpkin soup with truffles and meat options too. The main course options were equally varied, hake that was beautifully cooked, lamb shank on a bed of mash and risotto. The service was efficient and discrete. And now my speciality: desserts. There was the choice of chocolate mousse or fresh fruit salad. Naturally I opted for the mousse, but even I was swayed by the choice of fresh fruit served and would not have turned my nose up if that was the only option. After dinner hot drinks were a wide selection, catering for filter, decaff, and latte coffees, and tea options.

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights for his birthday. The room we stayed in was one of the executive suite it was a lovely size, very clean the bed was comfortable We had a great sleep we didn’t hear any noise from other guest or any outside noise. It had a beautiful view out of the massive windows looking into the small park. The staff make this place just wonderful they can’t do enough to help you. If you stay here I would highly recommend the restaurant the service and food was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again.

This is a nice little boutique hotel, located conveniently near Hammersmith tube station and 10 mins from the Apollo.
The room was comfortable and the wedding was really soft and actually very very nice to sleep in.
Disappointed that despite our room advising we could have bath robes, they had actually run out. Not what you hoped for and no offer to compensate either.
The breakfast was disappointing too, expecting a nice hot meal to start the day as breakfast was included, it was continental only and hot food was an extra cost. That’s was never explained upon booking. The buffet style breakfast had already been ravaged by the time we took our seats at 9am, in the next hour nothing was replenished so all the fruit has nearly gone and meat plates were near empty.
This really let this lovely little find down, they could do so much better.

Dear Dan, I am sorry that on this occasion that you were disappointed with your stay. I do apologise for the inconvenience for the bathrobes as we had an issue with the linen company and they were not delivered. The breakfast was continental and it was advertised as "continental " on booking.com, where you booked. Hope you can give us another chance and being again one of our valued Guests in the near future, the service will up to your expectations. Kind regards Tommaso Caporilli Hotel Manager

Popped in for a light snack and tea our sandwiches came with french fries, we ordered cheese and ham plus smoked salmon both were excellent. A delightful hotel full of character. The service was first class.

On balance it is perfectly acceptable, the room we had for our one night stay was on the smarter side of average and very clean while the buffet style continental breakfast had everything one may reasonably want, if not very exciting (and they charged £10 extra for very basic and cold eggs Benedict).

Our main issue is the fact it is not very good value. At £375 for a couple we had hoped for something a little better than the large Novatel (where we parked)... better than a large chain hotel. We would not have had any complaint if it had been say around the £200 mark.

It just felt hopelessly overpriced and not delivering value or experience that makes it worth the upgrade. Check was really quite poor in a cramped and run down little desk with no warm welcome or anything that shouts "welcome" ... it was actually quite comical.

Our expectation was for a lovely hotel to add something nice to a concert, when what we got was a feeling of poor value with little to justify our business.

Please sort out the service which would make the experience so much better!

What a beautiful hotel! Shame about room 28 though.

Having paid a little more and booked an executive room thinking we’d have a little luxury, we were terribly disappointed when we lay our head down to sleep it sounded like a steam strain was running through the room.

We called reception who said we could move. If we weren’t already unpacked and in bed we would have but it was extremely inconvenient to do this at 10 at night.

The lift might as well have been in the room as every time it was used, the room shook.

We mentioned it again on check out and the chap on reception wasn’t at all interested and we left paying the price of a severe lack of sleep.

Shan’t be recommending this hotel.

The dinner in the restaurant however was absolutely delicious!!!

Comfy boutique-styled hotel. I like the 'traditional' styled hotels so this suited me to the ground. I wasn't sure initially about my room being on the ground floor in the Annex, but it was great. There's a nice restaurant on-site. Menu looked good, though I did not eat there due to timing of arrival and departure.

The bar has a nice selection of niche (expensive) whiskeys and spirits.

I found staff to be very friendly and efficient. The location is served by a few tube stations so is accessible.

This is an ideal hotel if you're heading to the Apollo for a concert. It's a ten minute wander from the venue, which is right behind the Tube station so within easy reach of both as well as the multitude of food places. Although it's along the main road it's also set into the St Paul's Gardens so there's a little oasis of peace to the back.

Our room was lovely and spacious - we had one of the loft rooms right at the top. The bathroom is down some steps to the side but is still a decent size with a shower over the bath. The heated mirror worked although the underfloor heating did not, but it was warm enough not to need it. We had hoped to have a quick shower before we left for our concert but there was no hot water in the hotel and the maintenance arrived just before we had to leave. It was sorted by the time we got back, so we had a decent shower the next morning.

There was a nice selection of teas and coffees, along with both a kettle and a coffee maker, and the milk and some bottled water in the mini fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable and warm enough.

Our only issue was the food. We arrived too early to check in so stopped in the bar for a quick drink and a snack, and chose the chips and chicken tenders with Chipotle sauce. The tenders had a very odd taste and smell, not like chicken at all, and neither of us felt comfortable eating them. The next morning when we came downstairs for our continental breakfast, we had a croissant and pain au chocolat and both were dry and stale. We'd ordered some toast so ate a couple of slices of that, and then gave up. Another couple who came down after us tried a bit of the bread and then left to find breakfast elsewhere. It was disappointing as the hotel and room is nice and we would definitely want to stay again if we were in the area, but the food really let it down.

Stayed here with my husband for his birthday. The staff had made a heart on the bed with chocolates.

The room was lovely with all original features. The bed was huge and so comfy, the room had a fridge room service with complimentary drinks in the fridge...

The bathroom was a WOW factor you could probably get 6 adults in the shower. The bathroom also had a bath inside theis was all marble and the floor was heated.

We had a cooked breakfast and that was also lovely and cooked fresh.

Staff were lovely and very attentive. A superb hotel
