Guests frequently commend Premier Inn London St Pancas Station for its cleanliness and strategic location near major transport hubs, making travel exceedingly convenient. While the hotel boasts a comfortable and stylish atmosphere, some travelers have noted inconsistencies, particularly with air conditioning in rooms and occasional disturbances from noise within the hotel. Although the rooms are generally well-received for their tranquility and comfort, the service has drawn criticism for feeling understaffed, leading to delays. Opinions on value vary, with some guests questioning the price relative to the service provided.

I honestly can’t express how thankful I am to all of the staff for making our weekend away stress free. We arrived before check in on Saturday 2nd and the lovely young man on reception was so welcoming and helped us put our bags in to storage so we could head out for a day of sight seeing luggage free. When we arrived in the evening the lady on reception was just as lovely. Our room was luxurious and super quiet and the bed was so comfy.the location is perfect, the underground is across the road, so really easy to nip around London! There was a queue to be seated for breakfast in the morning (9:30am) however it was worth it, the cooked breakfast was delicious and there was so much variety. That evening we returned for dinner before our train home, Derrick in the restaurant, is a credit to premier inn, such a warm, kind and friendly person. Traveling to London with young children can be overwhelming however our stay here made it seem so easy and stress-free, therefore if you’re reading this and thinking of staying here with your family to sight see in London, do it!

This was my first time at a Premier Inn so I wasn’t sure what to expect seeing that the price was half of what I usually pay at a 4 star hotel down the road. What a great surprise ! The room was clean and had everything you need for a short stay - comfy bed, sufficient hangers (albeit in an open closet area), a drawer and plenty of open shelves, armchair, desk, kettle with coffee and teaand a great shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The only negative thing for me was the fact that the windows don’t open but that’s just me. The heat worked well so I’m sure the air conditioning must be good, too. Breakfast was classic buffet food, both hot and cold. They only provide one hand towel per room but 2 bath towels and a bath mat. There is a wall dispenser for hand soap next to the sink and a dispenser with body wash/shampoo in the shower. The British Library bus stop with all the buses going into the central London is just up the street and Kings Cross St Pancras tube station is close as well. Overall I really recommend this place and am looking forward to staying there again on a future trip to London.

I have stayed at this hotel every time I have been to London, and I’ll continue to stay there each time I come back. It is in the best location, whether you’re getting there by plane, train, or Eurostar. With Kings Cross and Euston Station walking distance away, you’ve got access to most of London, and the rest of the UK, via the tube and overground. And with a quick walk down the road and across the street with your suitcase, Europe via the Eurostar is at your fingertips. It’s also walking distance to the British Library, the British Museum, and the Brunswick Centre, with plenty of shops and places to eat there and along the way.

The staff are extremely helpful and approachable. Checking in and out has been easy each time I have stayed, and they have places for you to leave your luggage if you need when arriving and departing. The rooms are clean and well presented with everything you need. Iron and ironing board available on request. The beds are comfortable and although the hotel is in central London, the rooms are quiet overnight. The restaurant at the hotel has great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they open early, which has been good for early flights and trains. Booking in advance via the hotels direct website has landed me some pretty good deals too. I have never had a bad experience with this hotel and I fully recommend it.

I stayed at this hotel about a year ago and really had nothing good to say about the experience. No room service for four days, unprofessional staff, and terrible customer service. Well after staying a second time I can honestly say I was shocked at how much it has improved. I will give credit where credit is due and say the everything has changed 100% for the better. Staff were professional and courteous. Maid service was top notch (me and the wife would normally leave late and always came back to find the maid had come back to make our room). At breakfast we were greeted with a smile and and directed to a table of our choice ( I like looking out the window while eating breakfast and was accommodated every morning). The breakfast buffet had a great selection and was fully stocked no matter what time we came down to eat. On our last night were able to buy a bottle of New Zealand wine at the bar for a very reasonable price and had a great night. I want to personally thank all the staff for having a great weekend and the changes you have made since my last visit. You have earned a repeat customer and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had a two night stay at this particular Premier Inn. It’s a very short walk from St Pancras station and very close to the bus stop so reaching London city is a breeze.
The rooms are the usual Premiere Inn standard, very clean and seemed slightly larger than some others we’ve stayed in. Our room was on the third floor and even though the hotel is located on a busy road the windows are so well insulted you hardly notice the traffic.
The main thing for us was the staff. They really are an amazing bunch of people. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. I’ve stayed in many Premier Inns & they’re the best I’ve had the pleasure to meet so far. Friendly, helpful, efficient and most importantly cheerful.

Stayed at many premier inns as facilities are what we want for a short stay. This hotel was quiet despite its location on the 6 lane highway that is Euston road, and it’s obvious popularity. Staff were lovely friendly and accommodating, all requests met with cheerful response. Luggage was stored before check in allowing us to make the most of our day, room was spotless. We ate in Thyme restaurant for dinner and had a pleasant meal which under the meal deal was adequate value. Check in queues were long, and that is the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars. No hesitation in recommending this hotel for short break or stopover.

I was told once, that a good company is not judged by it's everyday operation, but by how it handles unexpected events. Well, this hotel fails big time if that is the case.

It's been a long time I wanted to try this hotel. Unfortunately, the bigger the expectation the bigger the disappointment.
We decided to stay at this hotel for my birthday this year (we arrived at the actual day of my birthday, not before or after). Didn't even get a simple "Happy birthday" at the check-in, not to mention some nice gestures such as a birthday card in a room which I got in much cheaper hotels for different occasions. In fact, I can’t say that the reception staff were friendly at any of our interactions...
And then THE NIGHT came. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, around 2AM. After running down 6 floors of steps and waiting in the lobby for about half an hour, a member of staff announced that it was a false alarm due to someone smoking in the room. He said that it’s safe to return to our rooms, which we did. Some 15 minutes after we returned to bed the fire alarm went off again, it was reset a few times but was going off again and again. We suspected something might be actually wrong, and went down to the lobby again. This time a member of staff was saying that someone has tempered with a smoke detector and now the fire alarm can’t be disabled until a system engineer arrives. In the meantime, hotel guests (some wearing pyjamas, some barefoot, some with little children) were suggested to WALK to the nearest Premier Inn hotel for a cup of tea. In 2 degrees celsius London night. The wait ended after couple hours on the lobby floor when the engineer finally showed up and the fire brigade (that was present in the hotel this whole time) allowed us to go back to our rooms. Of course after going to bed at 5AM and changing our plans to get some rest we were waken up by the house keeping at 8AM... We politely asked them to come back later, which they never did (the room was not cleaned that day). No apologies from the stuff, not even a simple generic note slipped under to room door.

Yes, the rooms are quite big by London standards. Yes, the room and bathroom are clean. You won’t hear the outside noise, however you might hear loud neighbours (we did). The location of the hotel is convenient.

I traveled quite a lot in my life, both for business and pleasure, and I have what to compare to, and I KNOW that in this situation this hotel didn’t perform well. I haven’t been in many hotels that stand further from the "Good night sleep" promise than this hotel. Will probably never return to this hotel again.

Before I booked this hotel I phoned to see if they cater for gluten free, My daughter has coeliac disease so wanted to make sure she had something to eat before enjoying the sights of London, and also to be able to have a meal with us. I was told that they could accommodate the dietary requirements and the chef could cook her something up, I booked the hotel. when we arrived we asked for an iron for the room they said they would bring one up to the room, after several chases of the iron we never received one. we had only one towel when we arrived into the room between four of us which lead me to go back down and ask for more towels, The toilet roll was not stocked so I had to go ask for some also, the following morning we went for breakfast, waited 10mins before even been shown to a table to be then told "oh sorry we have run out of gluten free bread", that morning I gave my child some fruit. the following morning again I asked again to be told "sorry no bread" this time i asked to see the manager as this was poor and not acceptable when I am told over the phone prior to booking this could be made. the manager kept saying I'm sorry you have to accept my apologies the delivery hasn't arrived yet. yet again NOT acceptable when you claim you can cater gluten free. this same morning another member of staff asked a member of staff to put some juice out the member of staff rudely infront of guests shouted cant you see I'm busy doing something else. the staff are rude and not friendly, the manager explained that the next morning she will make sure something is sorted for my daughter to eat, once again the following morning came asked for gluten free to be told the same sorry no gluten free as no delivery. I asked for the manager to be told there is no manager only a deputy which she said she can not do anything as she was not a manager. This was not ok I picked all our things up and left the dining hall after waiting 30mins to be seated this time.
I then had to find somewhere close by so I could go feed my family and my daughters needs would be catered for. this left our family stressed and upset for the day. so say the least no we did not enjoy the rudeness of your staff and management and will not stay in your hotel again. I feel very let down by the service and care we received.
We have a 7 month baby so have a pushchair we were put on the 4th floor the lifts kept breaking down so was out of order one morning there was only one lift working which we had to wait 2mins for it to arrive, at one point we had to carry the pushchair and luggage down the flight of stairs otherwise we would have missed our train. While waiting in queue for breakfast there was no food on buffet so the queues were gathering causing many guests to get upset, slow in bringing out the food.

Just across the street from St Pancras/King's Cross station and underground in a lively neighbourhod, this hotel offers quiet nights in high quality beds. Most room have a bath. Good blackout curtains. Delicious hot breakfast (the continental is not to be recommended) where they cook yours eggs to your liking, all served with a smile. Nice bar, with very reasonable priced drinks.

We stayed here for a 3 night break with 2 kids in a family room.

First off the location is brilliant, 5 minute walk from. Kings Cross Station, plenty of places around to eat/drink and a 3 minute walk to the underground station.

Check in was at 4pm, which we were aware of but the fact that you can leave your luggage before and after your stay was great and was easy enough to use the facility.

Room was almost a carbon copy of every other Premier Inn we have stayed in over the years big enough for four of us, clean, decent bathroom and all the beds were comfy. We needed extra pillows which when requested at reception were swiftly delivered to our room.

Problems were unfortunately blamed on covid measures which in the current climate seems to be the current excuse from places that are just short staffed.

First off no cleaning service which if it was one night would not be an issue, but a 3 night stay it's a good job we don't make a mess and are OK cleaning up after ourselves, however the fact no bins emptied caused a bit of an issue. No fresh towels or toilet roll changed, we had to go to reception to ask for these which was a chore when there was a queue due to numerous other people having to do the same, to only be given one clean towel at a time is not ideal when there are 4 of you needing to shower etc.

Secondly the lifts were silly. No stairs from any floor over the first floor and as you could only have 1 family per lift, the fact they were very random and one was broken meant a long wait for some thing that would have taken a minute to walk up/down the stairs if there were any. I'm not sure how this would have worked in the case of a fire?

The final and main issue was the restaurant, we planned eating there on our first night and was told the restaurant was closed. We were able to book breakfast which thankfully we only booked one morning. The service was terrible, not down to attitude of (almost all of) the staff just fact of them being understaffed with a full service to cover. We were seated at a table that obviously had not been cleaned as there was sauce smeared on the table and crumbs left. No juice was available, hardly any cereal choice available, most of the pastries were gone and not replenished. Going for the hot breakfast this was hit and miss, there was a lack of items available together so had to get bacon and hash browns, then go back 10 mins later for sausage and egg. The restaurant was still busy 30 minutes before service ended, and they closed one of the toast stations and my daughter was rudely told "go to the other one" which was turned off because someone had turned it up and burned some bread in it.

I'm glad we didn't pay up front For any further breakfasts as it wasn't worth the hassle.

Overall we would possibly use this hotel again due to location and luggage facilities, hopefully they will be back to normal service in the near future. Fullt staffed and the kitchens well stocked

I've had the same problem with contacting the hotel, it seems to be a regular problem. Not sure about the luggage drop off but the £10 early check in is on a first come first served basis - it depends on how many rooms have been prepared for a new occupant. Hope that helps.

The reception is very small if I remember correctly and only manned by one person so it's luck of the draw as to anyone answers. I would try a generic PI number and go from there. Try 0333 003 8101 between 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday.
