We booked the Creed Lane Studio apartment for our special birthday/anniversary trip to London, which also gave us access to the Leonardo St Paul’s facilities. We had requested an early check in via email a few days before travel as usually this is not until 4pm. Though it couldn’t be guaranteed we were advised to see when we arrived. The hotel is very large & modern with seemingly acres of glass in the central atrium area. The location - just moments from Blackfriars tube station and St Paul’s Cathedral is great. We arrived about 12:30pm & after speaking with reception we could have an early check in but the cost of this would be £40, which hadn’t been mentioned in our email. However a slightly earlier (3pm) check in was offered at no additional cost which was fine & gave us time to pop out for lunch. On returning, a very pleasant, helpful gentleman collected out luggage and escorted us across to the apartment section of the hotel - literally a couple of minutes walk. What a surprise awaited us on entry!! Balloons, a handwritten card and complimentary drinks to mark our special occasion. An unexpected & very thoughtful touch. Thank you Leonardo. Our 1st floor apartment was spacious with a huge (very comfy) bed, immaculate en suite shower room and a small kitchen area with fridge & microwave. There was crockery, cutlery & glasses for 2. There was plenty of complimentary tea & coffee along with still & sparkling water. A downside was being located right opposite building works. Not an issue in the day but they did disturb our first night as there was work going on until after midnight, which was very noisy. Thankfully our second night was fine but it might be helpful to let guests know in advance of this so it doesn’t come as a shock which it was for us. We had breakfast at a small local business called L’Express City, which was just round the corner from our accommodation. Good range of choices, very reasonable prices & great coffee. There are plenty of local and chain places to eat/drink within a few minutes walk so lots of options. We used the facilities at the hotel’s Rena Spa daily and it was a real bonus to have access to these. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, large jacuzzi and steam/sauna rooms. The staff at Rena are lovely - very pleasant and friendly. On our last night we spent a very relaxing couple of hours in the hotel’s lounge/bar area. Plenty of sumptuous seating and wonderful service. This is clearly a top class hotel that trains it’s staff exceptionally well. A perfect place to stay on our special trip.…

We spent a lovely day at Rena spa and the staff there was simply amazing. Yovannina and Agima were very kind, friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate us after a booking error at Rena Holborn almost ruined our day. It's thanks to them that we had a relaxing, recharging day and we were so happy to end up there! We really appreciate how lovely they treated us. The spa treatment (we had the package with a facial and back massage) was worth it and the facilities there allow for a relaxing, recharging day. Lunch at the hotel's restaurant (Leo) was delicious, in a relaxing ambiance. Don't miss their rooftop bar (Sabine)!

Stayed in this hotel from 9th to 11th August and could not fault this hotel . Had a wonderful room on floor 4 with a great view of St Paul’s Cathedral. The swimming pool was great and the food in the morning was amazing, with a huge selection to suit everyone. Special thanks to Ahmed for arranging a complimentary upgrade and excellent customer service, this really made my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again

It was an amazing stay; definitely recommend the spa facilities where you can find sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi. It was for a bday getaway and can fully say the staff have gone above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We arrived later in the evening after a long day travelling, the evening manager Nina ensured we got settled in quickly and let us know about the food service available and the rooftop bar, which is a go to place for amazing cocktails. A perfect place for a girls trip in London!

Yovannia and Agima were amazing. So friendly, accommodating and compassionate after the experience we'd had at Holborn Rena Spa earlier in the morning. They escorted us to changing rooms to show us where lockers were and helped carry all our bags. The massage and facial were excellent, the therapist clearly knew what she was doing!

Went here for our 20th Wedding Anniversary . I emailed a few months in advance to see if a nice room was available and got a reply back saying see what is available on arrival . The Hotel is central and we had fizz and canopies on check in . Check in was breeze . We were located on the 6th floor in an executive room and wow !!!! Helium balloons above the bed. Happy Anniversary on the mirror chocolates and a little card . What a beautiful touch . Room was immaculate and the air-con was amazing as it was so hot last weekend . In fact the air-con was freezing . Was worried from previous reviews . We used the spa facilities . Leos bar and the roof top bar . My only nit pick was our coffee and milk wasnt replenished .We will definately return . Amazing !! Thank you

I would love to give this hotel 5 stars but there were a few things that really disappointed us on our stay. We had stayed 5 years ago under the name The Grange and can see a lot of improvements. The main thing was the aircon. Unfortunately they are still having issues with it. We did get a fan which helped but when you are 20 weeks pregnant and diabetic it was unbearable at times! We stayed for 3 days and found this very challenging. We did not get offered a partial refund as I see others have had from the reviews, but we did get an early check in and late check out with a free drink. Shame the room was too warm to make the most of this however. We also put a deposit down to use the mini bar but it wasn't fully stocked and what we did use wasn't replenished. We ended up walking to the nearby sainsburys which proved much cheaper but less convenient. The rooms are a little tired, but clean and the bed was very comfortable. Beware of the staff in the roof top bar. I have been advised the staff are from a separate company to the hotel. I found them quite dismissive and rude. We went to book a slot upon arrival only to be snapped at about the dress code Unfortunately when you are heavily pregnant there are only so many things you can wear, especially after travelling for 14 hours. If you are an Instagram addict and like to be in places good for the gram this is your place. As a non social media addict however, I found the bar and staff very pretentious. They also didn't have any soft drinks on the menu so no point in me trying it! Asides from these issues, we really enjoyed the hotel and its excellent location. The bar on the ground floor had a great atmosphere and working aircon, so we spent a lot of time there. There are also complimentary treats and fruit infused water which was a bonus. The staff were all lovely especially Abdul in reception. I had a wonderful pregnancy massage at the spa. I forget the therapists name but she has been there for 8 years. However watch out for the pool as its quite cold! We would definitely stay here again, but for the price of our stay we would hope the problems would be resolved before booking again.…

We can confirm that they are employed directly by us. We recommend our guests checking the criteria for entrance on the Sabine bar's website, which can be found via Google. We further recommend pre-booking even for residents as entrance is not guaranteed at our rooftop bar as due to its views and great service, it is extremely popular.
