Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.

We stayed here for a one night, quick city break. It has great links into different parts of London and is a wonderful little location to rest your head. Clean, basic, fairly priced. The bar was well stocked and also fairly priced.

Helpful staff, good location, the breakfast is excellent, and the bar is cozy with modern furnitures. The Aldgate East station is in the next corner. Walking distance to Tower Bridge and Liverpool Street Station is easy.

I like a lot of things about this hotel. It has modern, simple lines, the decor is fresh and understated, the staff is friendly. However, I just discovered one rather odd thing: There are no phones in the rooms. I wanted to order room service from the menu that had been

Things don't always go to plan but, as in this case, the team here are flexible. My originally allocated room was next to the lifts, one of which was a bit noisy. Being noise sensitive I asked whether I could be moved and a new room was found without question. Brilliant work

tel:+442074228400 I am not sure this may be helpful. This is the hotel we stayed just around the corner. You can call and ask if you like. We made a call before our trip to arrange transportation. Good luck. 🍀

It’d be a tube ride to the West End. The hotel is on a standard high street in Shoreditch with not much around it except a Burger King, a gelato place, a Tesco Express and the tube

The Tube (subway) and trains run on Holidays. There might be less trains but they run. You have a couple options, bottom line is that its about an hour of travel time. Option 1 - Take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington train station, transfer to the tube station and take the Hammersmith & City line to Aldgate EAST station. Walk about a block to the hotel. Will cost about $35 pound per person. 45 minutes travel time. Option 2 - Taxi 35 minutes travel time depending on traffic. 100 - 120 pound. Option 3. Tube all the way. Board a Piccadilly line train at any of the three Underground stations at Heathrow, heading towards the Cockfosters Underground Station. 9 stops. Transfer at the Hammersmith Tube Station to the District line. Take the district line headed to Upminister. Get off at the Aldgate EAST tube station. 16 stops. walk to hotel. 6 pound per person, an hour an 3 minutes travel time.
