Booked a suite for the night. Was a lovely spacious room. Bed was really comfy. The room overlooked the main road junction outside was noisy all night, the double glazing seemed to work though and heavy curtains. Coffee machine and good tea bags. Inside of hotel was very quiet no noise from the pub downstairs. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff polite and helpful. The pub downstairs was relaxing with an open fire, board games and good selection of craft beers.

The only 2 things that let the room down:

Horrendous shower, a naff bath mat to stop you slipping about that had hairs on it (?)and the shower was full of limescale so you had to catch the drops!

Ordered a bottle of fizz for my husbands celebrations to be put in the room before we arrived (I was happy to pay) and asked the team before via email, was sent a list of bottles to choose from then another email to confirm fizz has been ordered. The bottle was £45.50 which I was pretty shocked at, as I didn't choose anything from the list and the list was priced from £34.50. Didn't mention the cost when paying as didn't want to embarrass the husband.

Other than that a lovely stay

Thank you for reviewing us and giving us some important feedback. Thank you also for the compliments on the hotel and pub. i will look at possibly changing the mats we provide for the bath with another option as i do agree they can look a little naff. We have had a few intermittent problems that shower and will work on a long term solution. I think there may have been some confusion regarding ordering the bottle of Champagne as we gave you the lowest priced Champagne we have on the menu. The other options that are less aren't Champagne. I am sorry about the confusion there. I am happy that overall you had a great stay and please do let us know if you're booking again and i''l get you both a glass of fizz. Thank you Ryan

Stayed here for one night while working in the area always find pub accommodation to be hit or miss especially around London.. a warm welcome on reception

Wow was shocked how excellent the rooms were really clean tidy and modern. If you ignore the walk up the stained carpet upto the rooms it’s pleasantly surprising air con was excellent nice and cold if required, a mini bar in the room (chargeable) nespresso machine sky sports and movies on the tv a car park (extra charge to use but very secure) a short walk and your in the town.

Didn’t use the bar at night however had breakfast the next day which again didn’t disappoint..

Definitely stop again

Ryan the General Manager should take a bow!

Great systems and processes in place to keep diners, residents and drinkers safe, staisfied and happy at all times.

Gaylan and the team (Jonathan, May, Sarah) made our stay a really safe and special one!

The room was spotless and lovely and the food and hospitality was first-class throughout our 3 night stay.

Gaylan was particularly helpful, proactive and charming and a real credit to Youngs and the hospitality trade in general.

Many thanks,

Robin

Positive: the beds were very comfortable (this is soooo important), the towels were fluffy, the bathroom spotlessly clean and the heating (important in December) was great. The parking space we reserved was very practical.
The staff were friendly. On two days out if three the breakfast was delicious. I think the cook was having a bad day on day three.

To improve on: the rooms are not quite as lovely as they look on the photos. A few stains (the desk...a bit of sandpaper and varnish would make it all look lovely again) and a tired looking carpet.
The windows are not double glazing. The airconditioning outlets woke me up every morning. It didn't disturb the other family members though.

Irritating: the pub food was very good but after paying the bill, I realised a 12.5% service charge had been added. I'd prefer to decide personally how much I would like to tip.

Overall rating: good. (Why is there only average and very good?? There's a big difference between these two categories.)

Stayed here with other family members for one night and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms - both our feature room and a smaller boutique room.
Nice decoration and good amenities, including Nespresso machine, upmarket toiletries and good quality towels, bed linen and furnishings. Very clean too and staff were friendly on arrival and departure.
Rooms overlooking East Hill are quite noisy, though double glazing helps.
Only issue in our room was a broken radiator thermostat, which made the room very hot, compounded by not being able to keep the window open due to traffic noise..!

Very nice stay in this Inn in Wandsworth, London. Rooms are very nice, and slept well. Food and drinks are superb, and all of the staff are friendly. There is a bus stop directly outside giving seervices to Putney and Clapham Junction. Can recommend it for a short stay either for business or for pleasure.

Stayed here as was going to Wimbledon Tennis. Great location and easy to get to from King's Cross. We had a small double each, plenty of room for overnight stay, clean, air con, fridge/bar and tea and coffee available with fresh milk. Staff were very helpful , the bar had good selection of food and drink. Was only 12 minutes on a bus to the Tennis, and about minute walk from Wandsworth Town shops/restaurants/pubs - would definitely stay here again for a London break.

We had a lovely stay here, the room was very comfortable and nicely furnished with a very comfy bed. The facilities were great with a kettle, well stocked mini bar and Nespresso machine. We had drinks and dinner and while a little expensive the quality was really good - gorgeous fish and chips. Breakfast was also lovely with pastries and cereals to help yourself to and freshly cooked hot options. We had the breakfast butty and both really enjoyed it - really good quality ingredients.

One barman was a little standoffish but all other staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend. The room was good value for money for the standard and the location.

Stayed in an excellent, spacious and clean twin room above this very good and large urban pub.

Brewer’s Inn is a bit of an unexpected gem.

On the corner opposite Wandsworth Town Hall, right on a busy traffic system, is not where you’d expect to have a good night’s sleep. But they’ve obviously got the glazing sorted out!

Really good breakfast menu - and the Full English was superb.

Staff are charming. Allowed me to extend check-out for a work video call, despite the fact they were keen to turn rooms around for a busy and fully booked venue.

If you don’t know the area, it’s a great location for the buzzy nearby Wandsworth Town area, and 15 mins into Waterloo.

Good value of £180 for a twin including breakfast. Way below the over-priced alternatives further into the city.

Visited this place for a team lunch last week (should have been our Christmas Lunch - thanks Omnicron) and had the best time! The food was delicious and the service was great. A special shout out to Danny (especially for the vegan burger...he knows, lol). The venue were also super accommodating to the numerous changes we made to our booking before finally making it there.
Definitely be back again soon!
