Booked 2 nights at this hotel as a solo traveler so I could go see some west end shows and do some sightseeing. The hotel is situated on a quiet square overlooking private gardens and about a 5 minute walk from Notting Hill Gate Tube Station, took about 15 minutes to get into the theatre land area. Short walk to Portobello Road. My room (26) looked out onto a brick wall but I had no problem with this as I could leave the window and curtains open when sleeping as it was warm. Room was small but clean, bed was comfortable, and added bonus was a small fridge. Breakfast was continental, plenty of choice - croissants, toast, cereal, yoghurts, fruit, eggs, cheese and ham. The filter coffee was very nice, also had apple juice, orange juice and water available. I was very happy with my choice of hotel and found it excellent value for money. I would definitely book again.

Stayed for 1 night. Room was very clean and spacious on the top floor. Bathroom was well appointed and clean but shower was poor maybe because of being on the top floor. Booked a double room but got a twin with the 2 beds pushed together.
Regards the breakfast it was awful, and very unhygienic bearing in mind covid. There was shared tongs for the cheese and wet processed ham. Also my wife went to get a jam pot from the basket and there was sticky spilt jam in the basket which when pointed out was ignored by the staff. I picked out a butter pot and when I went to open it it was already open and half empty. At this point we left to get a coffee an something to eat elsewhere. Ok hotel but avoid the breakfast.

Don’t bother stopping here we paid for breakfast and got none when we went down at 9am not a single member of staff around and we could not even get tea of coffee to drink . The cups from the night before were still on the side which we had already washed up so we could have a drink the night before . No fire drill was given not even to show us the fire doors . We had a very strange man give us the key to our room and we think he was just put there to say here you go help yourselfs it was a very poor show . A note was just left for us when we checked out to say leave key on table . We had to go out and find our own breakfast and pay again we were not happy and my friends very upset .

My family had a great holiday. Cute little family run hotel in Notting Hill. Rooms and hallway are comfortably warm, area is super-quiet apart from the off motor scooter or rumbling train. Continental breakfast sets you up for a day of sightseeing. Filter coffee available on our return. Carpets are soft and the lounge can be used for a bottle of wine or a game in the evening. Thank you again to the hard-working staff!

The host is very friendly and welcoming. Really nice room, clean and tidy. Great food and you can play chess or relax on the balcony. There is a projector you could watch films on and a PS4 you or your child could play on. Also, there is a lovely garden to enjoy.

Hands down one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. It was dirty, the chair in the room was faded, peeling and sagging. The bed was on an angle and I kept almost rolling off in the night. There was no water from the hot tap to wash your hands and the room was ridiculously hot. The pipes started squealing at 7am. The receptionist couldnt be bothered to end the phone call he was on to his mate to check me in, just carried on chatting away while I stood there like a lemon. Cheap but definitely cheap for a reason. I couldnt bear to stay there another minute so I left before breakfast even though it was included.

Stayed here a couple of times recently and it has many great features and advantages. Firstly it is in such a great area, Notting Hill close to Kensington Gardens, Portobello Road market, some lovely bars and restaurants. Secondly the hotel itself is exceedingly good value, very clean with modern fittings, good breakfast and helpful staff. The room and en-suite bathroom were very well appointed and quiet. The room looked out onto Pembridge Square which is a very pleasant small private garden and is a home for a small group of urban foxes.

Stumbled across this lovely place located on a peaceful square overlooking private gardens at the front and a courtyard at the back. The location is perfect for both Notting Hill and Portobello explorations.

I received an amazing deal, a huge, clean, warm room with huge sash windows and an ensuite. The bed was so comfy, I overslept and missed breakfast. This didn’t matter though as the really lovely, friendly Lina, said it didn’t matter and prepared food and juice just for me. We chatted and laughed together which was lovely as I was alone.

Thank you so much for a really lovely stay. I will definitely be back.

My room only had UK Power Points. I recommend buying an adapter, as I did. I do remember the bathroom had a built in hair dryer.
