We spent a long weekend here with 4 people (2 adults, 2 children).
We chose the Holiday Inn London West because of the cheaper price compared to more central hotels.
Overall, our conclusion is positive. We were given a very friendly welcome (Mr. Sandhu in particular was extremely accommodating and even remembered our names until the end of the trip).
The room was big enough for us - of course, the sofa bed pulled out meant there wasn't much room left, but that was OK. The beds were fine and the bathroom was modern. Everything was absolutely clean.
The negative point here was that it was quite loud - the windows were not particularly well insulated.
We had booked breakfast - we didn't have to pay for the kids here. The breakfast was completely sufficient and comparable to similar hotels in Germany.
It was also very nice that the children could choose a small snack from the bar every day (e.g. an ice cream on a stick or a cookie)
On the last day, we were also able to leave our suitcases at reception and pick them up again later on the way to the airport. In our opinion, the public transport connection was very good. It took 5 minutes to walk to North Acton station and the Acton Main Line was also 7-8 minutes away. Bus stops are much closer.
For example, we got to Hide Park in about 30 minutes.

So overall we were very satisfied and would choose the hotel again.

Decent but off-center hotel; it is located minutes from the North Acton Metro.
Apart from 1 or 2 small supermarkets, there is nothing around the hotel. No shops, no restaurants (except a not very clean Mc Donald on the other side of the road that runs along the back of the hotel). This is a neighborhood that lacks charm.
The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very varied, very decent. The hotel restaurant is basic, convenient (especially in the evening after days of sightseeing and walking) but relatively expensive for the offer. In the lobby, rather welcoming, there is a bar and a Starbucks (very high prices).
At the level of the rooms (we had 2), they are quite decent size, well equipped (missing bathrobes and slippers) and clean (be careful just sinks whose bottom needs to be better cleaned).
Despite the road that passes along the hotel, the insulation is enough to sleep quietly in a rather comfortable bedding.
In short, overall, a satisfactory experience for the 4 days we spent there.

I went on holiday to London at the Holiday Inn four or five times this year. There were never any problems then but this year it was very annoying and disappointing.
Staff and cleaning have deteriorated extremely. It took daily until 16:00/16:30 or later for the rooms to be cleaned.
On one day it even happened that the room was cleaned only after request when it was already 6:15 p.m. Here you have to mention that there was no sign on the door saying “please no cleaning today”. We were traveling all day long since you expect to have a tidy room when you come back.
In addition, the desired order in the included restaurant was not addressed but this was ignored only because you do not know the language well.

Our family of four, including two small children, stayed at this hotel in London during Halloween. We were looking forward to a pleasant vacation, but unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by serious concerns about safety and service quality.

On the third day of our stay, we returned to our room to find the safe, which we had locked with our individual code, emptied of its contents. The missing items included passports, driver’s licenses, credit cards, wallets, and home keys. This left us feeling extremely vulnerable and distressed, especially being abroad with young children.

We immediately reported the incident to the reception desk. Due to the nature of the situation, we had no choice but to invalidate our passports, driver’s licenses, and credit cards for security reasons and contact our embassy for assistance. The process of obtaining temporary documents to ensure we could return home safely was both time-consuming and costly. Additionally, we had to arrange for enhanced security measures for our apartment back home, as our home keys were among the missing items.

The emotional toll of this incident cannot be overstated. We spent a sleepless night worrying about our safety, our ability to return home, and the potential misuse of our personal information and documents. This hotel was average. To begin with I would not stay there again because the neighborhood seems unsafe. ESP after dark when you’re walking from the tube to the hotel. Lighting is bad and odd people are hanging about. There are very few restaurants in the area, although the hotel has one on site. Other than that we didn’t find anything. The location isn’t convenient and it takes awhile to get to the sights around London. The staff started out very friendly but after a couple stops at the desk with questions they were less interested in helping. Beds were not terrible nor were they comfy. Our room was clean, although again not super clean just adequate. Breakfast was good, which was a plus. I’m not sure if European hotels just don’t provide wash cloths but we never had any.

Had an exquisite experience at the hotel, it was a last minute booking while I was arriving from the airport but it went seamless. Got to save some points through my revolut and when I arrived my man’s Husrev upgraded me to an executive room. The room itself was very nice and had a good desk and chair to work and do business calls from. The view was nice and I was placed on the quiet side of the hotel. My room was cleaned timely and neatly and early in the morning when I left for breakfast.

My European plugs weren’t compatible with the UK sockets and again Husrev borrowed me some hotel socket converters.

Breakfast had good options and was fairly priced, each morning I was all set and happy with my belly filled and at any time you need something the staff is always there to help.

During my checkout I tried to bring the converter plugs back down but forget them in my jacket pocket. Later at Liverpool Street station I called the hotel a little concerned because they were borrowed to me and then Kais told me on the phone that my honesty was appreciated that I shouldn’t worry about extra charges and I could consider the converter plugs a little parting gift from the hotel.

They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and excellent and the hotel and its staff deserve 10/5 stars. Can definitely recommend!

The Holiday Inn London - West is a beautiful hotel in West London. We visited it in November 2022 in a school trip (88 students and teachers from Greece) and constituted for us a perfect combination of quality, price and comfort. By using the nearby underground station, we were in about 10-15 mins in central London, a very good choice for a very good hotel not as expensive as the ones in central London. It is worth noting that the area, where the hotel is located, is peaceful and safe.

The Hotel is extremely very clean and the personnel is friendly, helpful, and effective, treating people with respect and patience.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, a good rest after our long walks in central London. It also possesses a spacious lounge and a comfortable bar. For us teachers it was important that every room contained a large desk, where we could work.

The breakfast was very rich, able to satisfy every desire and diet with tasty, nicely cooked and well served, solutions.

We are indebted to the hotel for having us and the stuff for doing their best. Strongly recommended; an excellent choice!

This hotel is convenient and handy because it is in a good location with ease of access to North Acton Underground station. Parking is easy if you arrive early. But if you’re coming a bit later, spaces may be hard to come by. In that event, I’ve discovered they’re not fussy about not allowing one to use a disabled space, or even permitting parking where there is no marked space. Every thing is acceptable so long as you pay in advance, at check in, £18 per night.

Check in at reception was a breeze. There’s nothing special about their so called Executive Rooms, which are fairly basic. These are located on the 7th floor or form a separate wing on each of the other floors.

Having checked in,after taking my bag upstairs I thought I could grab a bite in the restaurant before going out for a little walk, as it was still light. There was a little wait for a server to appear at my table. It transpired that the servers at the restaurant also attended to punters at the bar at the far end.. Eventually, I placed my order and that was when I encountered the rudest waiter on the planet. He demanded to see the colour of my money. I told him quietly that I was staying at the hotel and showed him my key card. That was not enough for him and he said I’d have to pay up front with cash or a credit card. My sin apparently was that I’d not swiped my credit card at check in. (I was not asked to). Not wanting to make an issue I said I’d pay by card, even though it meant I’d need to put myself through the minor inconvenience of having to trudge upstairs to fetch my wallet to pay for the evening meal. Following this irritating exchange, I’d lost my appetite and was not too keen on the chicken starter and salmon for mains when they were brought to the table together. It may not have been his intention to cause offence. Yet it came across as such; it may only have been his accent or poor language skills. But a bit of training in customer service would have been helpful.

The nearest tube station is North Acton. It’s a 5min walk. The HI Express London Park Royal is closer - right next to the station. Worth considering. From LHR take the Piccadilly line to Acton Town, change to District line to Ealing Broadway. Change to Central Line to North Acton To Wembley Park - take Central Line to Bond Street and change to Jubilee Line to Wembley Stansted Airport you need to take the Express Train to get to Central London and the tube. You can web search the airports and their connections to London - also there are London Underground maps available on the web
