Quiet and comfortable room - great shower and comfortable bedding. Spacious room by London standards. Easy check-in, great breakfast, better than other Premier Inns we have stayed in. Friendly staff, good security - lifts and room corridors require a key card for entry. Special shout out to Francesco - checked us in and helped us the next morning at breakfast. Hotel is close to lots of bars and restaurants. We were in town for a show at Union Chapel - just a short walk with lots of dining options close by. A five minute walk to the Angel Tube station, close to a lot of options for dining, shopping and very close to St. Pancras/Kings Cross. We'd definitely stay here again!

Booked this Premier Inn to attend The Stitch Festival at the NDC and found it was extremely convenient, about 5 minute walk. The Inn is situated just off the main road, so no road/traffic noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wow! What an amazing hotel!

The hotel is perfectly located near Angel tube station which is an easy connection to all of the London sights. There are local shops and markets nearby to do any shopping needs. Also nearby there are restaurants minuets away.

We booked a Premier Plus room for a good price and were blown away by the extras you receive! Upon arrival we received a free drink voucher up to the price of £5 each to spend in the bar. The rooms are located on the top
floor so they are super quiet and comfy. Included in the room you receive extras such as a mini fridge, bottles of water, Green and Blacks chocolate, a vanity area, a coffee machine, luxury shower products and hand soap and a walk in rainfall shower. All of these extras were used and definitely worth the small amount extra. Drinks included were coffee pods, and luxury tea bags.

The staff in this hotel are the friendliest bunch I’ve ever met! Always going above and beyond, chatty and friendly. Thank you! Breakfast was super tasty £10.50 each for full English and continental. The food was nicely warmed and full of flavour. The restaurant area is clean and tidy and feels super modern. We also used the baggage drop area where you can leave your bags before you check in and as you check out free of charge. This is secure using tags and collection tickets.

This hotel was excellent, not a single complaint! Will definitely be returning and would recommend to everyone!

We booked directly online and this was reasonably straightforward. We were greeted on arrival. The sanitary measures were in place but were not always observed to be followed by the staff in that they did not always wear a face covering. This was slightly disconcerting when it involved the breakfast chef while preparing food in front of guests.

It was made clear that rooms were only serviced by housekeeping on request. Free Wi-Fi was available at a limited bandwidth. Air conditioning was provided and was simple to operate but noisy when on full. The television in the room had terrestrial channels. Basic liquid soap and shower gel were provided in wall dispensers. No other toiletries were available. The ensuite contained a bath with shower over. Daily requests had to be made for replacement towels. The bed was adequate and two pillows were provided. The room also contained a large sofa.

We paid the full price for the 'all you can eat' breakfast at the time of booking. An email from the hotel in advance of our stay requested that we reserve times for breakfast before arrival. This was done. Imagine our surprise when the receptionist asked us to book again for breakfast as 'the staff were too busy to deal with all but essential emails'. In addition, we were informed that ‘these emails were sent out automatically’. However, we complied with the request and our room numbers were duly entered into a paper grid on a clipboard. I am interested to know into which category does Premier Inns place the feeding of their guests, if not essential.

Some mornings we were directed to a particular table, sometimes not, and we were left to pick one. The whole breakfast was self-service. The first morning there was no orange juice as ‘it had not been delivered’. The second morning there was orange juice but no marmalade, and the third morning the same. The cooked breakfast was adequate. Freshly fried eggs were available on request. Sometimes the plates were cold.

The staff were pleasant.

It's in a good location so that's a bonus, however, the room wasn't very clean and there was pubic hairs on the toilet and the shower.
You don't get any amenities such as shower gel etc so bring what you need. There was a thing on the wall but was empty.
My air con squeeked so I had to keep it off so I was absolutely freezing at night and had to sleep in my jumper and scarf.
The curtains are overlapping so when I tried to pull one open the whole thing came off the wall!
Breakfast isn't worth the money as there's not much choice, so in my opinion, eat out!
You only get 2 teabags in the room and 4 single milk portions but they did say you can ask for more, which I did.
It's supposed to have a money back guarantee for a good nights sleep, and I slept there 3 nights, or at least tried and wasn't offered a refund despite complaining.
The staff were a bonus, friendly and helpful so that at least was nice.
I don't know if I would stay there again, not unless I was prepared with toiletries, tea and lots of layers of blankets!

My stay was an absolute disgrace. I paid for a Premier Plus room, and upon arrival to my room, noticed a dreadful odour, and could not open the window to sort it out, and the shower did not work. I was told to return the following day for a replacement room, as they were completely full. When I did return the following day, I was informed by an incredibly aggressive, rude and intimidating member of staff that there was no availability. Upon the manager of the hotel getting involved, after trying to repair the shower herself due to no maintenance person being available, I was then informed the room could be changed to another if I leave my luggage down at reception. This was incredibly inconvenient, as I would much rather have been allocated a new room, and been able to transfer everything over rather than have to pack it all away in my suitcase, considering my stay in the hotel was for a week, it was not a light amount of luggage. Upon eventually my room being changed, the shower pressure was still dismal, completely the opposite of how a Premier Plus room is advertised. I was further disappointed the fact that a basic room comes with both a shower and a bath - why does the premium room come with just a shower? There should be both. In this day and age, it is ridiculous that you can’t open the window for some fresh air, and instead have to constantly have the air conditioning turned on instead - this is not good for hygiene, breathing purposes and also for the environment. For the price the hotel charges, they should offer room service, and yet instead you have to go down to the restaurant and order, wait, and take it back to the room yourself. Then should you want a dessert and the drink you ordered, you have to go back down, wait and go all the way back up again. For an enjoyable stay, go to the Hilton opposite - the staff are far more friendly, the room facilities are better, you can open the window for some fresh air, and the bed is just as comfortable! All for a very similar price.

I stayed here sadly due to the passing of a friend and the welcome I received from the receptionist was fantastic.
The room was beautiful, clean and exactly what I needed.
There was a bath hooray as I was exhausted and everything was clean and the bed comfortable.
The staff on that night informed me and reassured me how Premier Inn were following stringent processes to maintain a high level of cleanliness. I needed to hear this.
There was no food served but I understood why.
In the tea/ coffee sachets in the room a hot chocolate sachet would also be welcome otherwise it was suffice.
I want to say a personal Thank you to the staff in the evening and morning.
I highly recommend premier inn and would love to stay again as it was Quality.

We stayed in this premier inn for a weekend for my daughter birthday in London! What a great location! You have the Angel O2 academy literally outside your door (no noise what so ever heard) and Angel shopping centre. There is a sainsbury, Waitrose and other shops nearby and McDonald’s a couple of mins walk. The Angel tube station is outside too so access to London via the tube is brilliant! The staff at this hotel are really attentive and always have a smile on their face wishing us a lovely day. We stayed in room 512 premier plus room on top floor and what an amazing view we got too. The room was clean and had all the extras included specifically a fan, bottle opener, fridge with water, coffee machine, iron and ironing board and being on the top floor it came with amazing views over the city. The bed is really comfy and black out curtains as standard really helped too. The hotels security was excellent too, you couldn’t access the rooms or lift unless you have a key card and the main doors off lift too required this, brilliant! If you’re thinking of staying in London with close access to amenities and just outside of coty I’d recommend this hotel.

I arrived at 16:30, an hour and a half after the beginning of check in. Having checked in I found my room had not yet been cleaned, at this point I went back to reception and the member of staff at the desk did not assign me to a new room, instead I had to sit for 45 minutes in the lobby while other guests were dealt with. On several occasions I was asked by the staff member to consider checking in at a later time in future in order to ensure my room would be ready. Having received no apologies for my inconvenience I was not best pleased at this customer service. At 1700 several members of the housekeeping staff were sat at the bar in the lobby having finished their shifts, and when I enquired about the state of my room I was merely shrugged at until finally the housekeeping manager went upstairs to check, they were gone for 15 minutes so I assume that my room had not in fact been dealt with. Having stayed in various Premier Inn’s in the past I was extremely disappointed with the drop in quality of service, and although when I was finally able to get into my room it was clean I think that as a paying customer my room should have been ready from 1500 as detailed in your communications prior to my stay. Additionally, the lack of apology or remediation from the hotel staff left me angry and disappointed about what is usually a quality service.

On the 6th of May 2022, I had a pre-booking at Premier Inn, Angel (18 Parkfield Street, Islington, London, N1 0PS). My report is as follows:

I had the worst experience that I have ever encountered. The room I stayed in, is number 409 on the 4th floor. As you enter the fourth floor, the corridor smelt so bad as if there wasn't any air circulation in the building. In 409, the room smelt awful and the room window was shut and locked, and could not get any fresh air in. There is visible mould coming through the ceiling along with a ceiling tile unfixed. The bathroom shower pipe was broken and so could not shower. The toilet flushes to a minimum and there isn't an extractor fan in the bathroom. There is an air conditioning unit that does not air the room cool enough, and what I don't understand is that there happens to be a standing fan in the corner of the room which is just flowing bad air around the room, making noises whilst it turns. The carpet is also horrendously old! I had filed the complaint to the receptionists and they responded by saying that they knew about the issues but were unable to give us another room as they were fully booked. I cannot comprehend as to why our room was given to us if they knew about the issues. Having a few hundred rooms in this hotel with no available rooms to exchange with, is absolutely appalling!. The hygiene standards in this hotel is not on par with the Premier Inns situated elsewhere. It is very concerning that in the on-going Covid 19 pandemic, it is IMPERATIVE to have fresh air flow in and out of buildings, including hotels. Utterly disgusted. (Please see pictures attached).
