When you book at our Premier Inn London Tooting hotel, you’re just a 30-minute Tube journey away from Central London. Our hotel is just a five-minute walk from Tooting Broadway Station and about a 10-minute walk from Tooting Bec Station, which are both on the Northern Line with regular trains through to Charing Cross. There’s plenty to do in Tooting, stop by the famous indoor Broadway and Tooting Markets, take a long stroll through scenic Streatham Park or make a splash at Tooting Bec Lido, one of the UK’s largest swimming pools. We’re also close to St George’s University of London and the Granada Theatre. After a great day out in Tooting, look forward to a relaxing sleep on one of our super-comfy beds.

The Premier Inn London Tooting Hotel is frequently commended for its inviting atmosphere, with guests enjoying the clean, comfortable rooms and the warm welcome from staff. Its location earns high marks for convenience, being close to public transport, shops, and attractions. While the hotel's cleanliness generally receives praise, some guests have encountered issues with maintenance and room servicing. Opinions on value are mixed; the complimentary breakfast for kids is a hit, but extra charges for basics can detract from the overall perceived value. Amenities like comfortable beds are appreciated, though a few travelers have noted problems with WiFi and room replenishments.

Thoroughly happy with my stay at PI Tooting. I was allowed to check in early which I needed after 3 hours of travelling

The room was perfectly adequate for my stay; I would say almost all rooms at a Premier Inn are standardised so you know what you're getting each and every time you go.

I chatted to the friendly staff in the bar in the evening.

Breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and thoroughly enjoyed. The fried eggs are made fresh to order which is a bonus. The staff enquired if I had any dietary requirements as well which unfortunately I do, which they catered for.

Eviction- well OK Check out was quick and effortless and I was on my way back home without any issues.

Thank you for having me!

This is a new hotel on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of a new building behind the retained listed facade of what I understand was a former Co-op department store. I'd only booked on 29 November for a one night stay on Friday/Saturday, 3rd/4th December, after a meal with friends a short distance away in Battersea. I arrived at about 12.30 am to discover that it was the hotel's opening night, with the bar still open! My allocated room (215 on the second floor) was enormous by budget hotel standards and well appointed, as was the en suite bathroom, and the room price (£58.50) great for a London hotel on a Friday night in December. (Only one other comment, but not a criticism: no champagne!)
Check out was 12.00 noon, with breakfast on Saturdays (continental or full English) served until 11.00 am, enabling a late get-up after the enjoyable evening before. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd not hesitate in staying again if wanting overnight accommodation in the area.

I stayed at Tooting premier inn in June 2022 for 16 days. The staff were so polite and kind and the room we were given was very comfortable. The maintenance was great - whenever it was required it was done when we had requested.

I personally would say the Tooting Premier Inn have offered much better service and room standard compared with my experiences at the Premier Inn Wimbledon Broadway where I ended up being overcharged by £140. I had to wait for the refund of this money for three months.

I would recommend the Tooting Premier Inn to any of my friends as they have a very high standard in all that they do.

I have booked another stay at the Tooting Premier Inn in August since I was so pleased with my stay.

AJ who was one of the managers at the hotel was very kind, helpful and courteous and whatever our requests were he took prompt action. We were so pleased with his hospitality.

Would definitely recommend and it is a great location to access shops and transport.

I arrived on Monday the 14th September and was staying 3 nights when I booked in, I asked for my room to be refreshed each night.
The room was not refreshed the next night so I reminded the staff and they said it had been forgotten. The room was refreshed the next night but all that was done was that the bed cover was pulled over and fresh towels were provided. None of the item in the room were replaced such as the chocolates or water and the dirty cups were taken away and not replaced.
As I had booked a Premier Plus room, I would have expected the items to be replaced daily.
Each day at breakfast I was greeted with dirty tables so had to clear and clean the tables myself, this was not because of the lack of staff as there was always 2 members of staff at the bar area either talking or had their heads buried in their phones. We also had no Orange Juice for 2 days as they had run out.
Other colleges were staying at the hotel at the same time and also found this to be the case.
I also had a problem downloading my invoice so I could claim the costs back on my expenses and rang the hotel for assistance, they said they would sort it out and email me the invoice, this is still a problem and will not download and the hotel have not contacted me.
I feel that the standards of the Premier Inns have dropped considerably especially at this hotel where the staff do not seem interested and spend most of the time looking at their phones.
I paid over £475 for 3 nights in this hotel and would not have expected the level of service that I got, and the staff to be disinterested and more concerned with what was happening on their phones than looking after the guests.

Our week stay at the hotel needed us to have to ask for clean towels and they didnt service the beds unless we asked. We also had to ask for a supply of toilet roll. I would have thought at least a trip into the room with a vacuum cleaner wouldnt kill anyone.

Bit of a mixed bag really. Nice enough hotel and room breakfast was good. Let down by some of the staff lacking basic customer service skills, some where really nice and some where just really unhelpful.
Example of this was on arrival finding out my booking for 2 rooms that had been pre booked and paid back in February had been amended with one room being funded that very morning this took longer and was more stressful to resolve than it should have been. Wanted to charge me £130 more than what I paid originally. I didn’t amend the booking the companies computer did it on its own apparently instead of apologising and sorting it out they seemed to take it personally saying it wasn’t their fault it was the computer and insisting I would have to pay the extra amount. It was eventually resolved grudgingly but it should have been a lot smoother than it was shouldn’t have to stand arguing with reception/manager about something that was obviously premier inns mistake. Also reported bathroom flooding every time shower was used nothing done about it. Asked to have room cleaned one day wasn’t done so that was another trip to reception to complain about that and one large and one small towel between 2 adults is a bit inconvenient.

Upon entry I didn’t quite know what to expect especially as I’m from tooting and used to live down the road from where this hotel actually is so it was very strange staying here after knowing what the building has been for over 30 decades. Reception is a couple floors up I was confused and checking on the computers and someone greeted me nicely to check me in I asked for an ironing board and iron that was given to me promptly.

Room was very quiet and dark which is what I need to relax completely. I was impressed with the air con/heating which did not buzz after being turned off. Same as the bathroom fan buzzing stopped very quickly which I was not expecting at all. Really liked the purple lighting. Bath was great. For a premier inn it was sufficiently clean. I couldn’t believe the size of the room as it was just a standard there was also space for 2 more people.

Breakfast in the morning what can I say was amazing so much choice so much variety if I was able to eat more I would’ve done. I then checked out I was actually offered to continue to have more breakfast before I left if I wanted but I didn’t want any more.

Only niggle is the kind staff member who I came into contact with me on both days I was there kept calling me sweetheart darling love beautiful every time he communicated with me which usually I wouldn’t bother me but it was a bit over the top. I understand it was just him trying to be nice but I don’t wanna be called that when I’m trying to order my breakfast and my drink my coffee.

Overall I would visit again. Very pleased.

Stayed here because it was pretty much the cheapest Premier Inn in London. Nice friendly staff who let us check-in slightly early. Room was clean although bath had a rather funky curtain. I don't like this current Premier Inn take on having to ask for your room cleaned or fresh towels at reception but its the same at them all. Setup is weird with nothing on the ground floor, some rooms on the M (first) floor and the reception being on the 1 (second) floor.

There's some nice restaurants in Tooting that are well priced. The hotel is above a Lidl so handy for off-brand chocolate. There's also two Northern Line tube stations within walking distance. It takes about 30 minutes to get to central London, or a £25 Uber ride when they're not surging their prices. We stayed for 8 days and it was around £750. Equivalent City Centre hotel would be around double. We'd stay there again.

We like Premier Inn generally as you know that the accommodation is going to be a reasonable standard for the price, but we’ve stayed at the Tooting one quite a lot as it’s only a short walk from family and in a good location for public transport and getting around London.
On this occasion, we booked a family room as my grandson, who actually lives just 5 mins walk away, was coming for a ‘sleepover’ on a couple of the nights. It was half term and just before Halloween so the staff had pictures to colour and crayons in the lounge area and a treasure trail set up for the occasion, which my grandson loved.
This PI is unlike most that we’ve stayed at, in that it has a small comfortable lounge area which is a bonus.
The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. On previous occasions we have stayed in Premier Plus rooms but this wasn’t available as a family room and we missed not having the fridge, coffee machine and easy chair, but never mind.
We’ll be back …!!
