The room was compact but well equipped with everything at the touch of a button from the various control pads or Smart TV. All lights, blinds, bathroom door frosting etc. 24/7 free tea service delivered to your door too - nice touch. Coffee facilities & mini bar in the room which was equipped with loads of extras too. Hairdryer, iron, multiple charging ports / plugs, safe and even a brolly (Rain in England - surely not)
Exceptionally clean & very quiet.
The staff were very helpful to assist in any way.
Great location with Victoria Station just a few minutes walk. Highly Recommended & even Sir Winston Churchill once live just a few doors away.

An amazing stay! Overall 5/5

On arriving at the Hotel which is in a lovely and quieter location, you are greeted by friendly staff on the front desk. The decor is very modern, clean and stylish and is the first thing to notice.

The check in was easy and no hassle, we left our bags whilst going out for the day and they held them with no issues.

Later on we returned to find an excellently presented room with the most technology based items in a room I’ve seen. To list them: 4K HDR TV with cast and mirroring from your phone for Netflix etc, built into the wall with sonos bar, LED mood lighting, transition glass on the bathroom which can go from clear to opaque with the controls near the door, a tablet to order room service and for information, TV in the bathroom, adjustable bed, mini bar, light lamps and full air conditioning.

The bed was very comfy with 2 types of comfortable pillows, summer duvet too so perfect. We had a bottle of champagne waiting in the room for our Anniversary too along with a hand written note! The bathroom is a good size with a shower with both normal and waterfall features.

We had forgotten our umbrella but without even asking the receptionist provided one for us. Great customer service.

Access to the hotel is easy via Victoria underground (5-8 min walk).

Overall a lovely stay with excellent attention to detail from the hotel, we will be returning on our next visit to London!

😊

I almost gave five stars for this lovely hotel but there were a couple of inconveniences which may matter to you. Rooms were extremely small (more than usual for a European hotel) but the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning is fixed at a certain temp and for those of us that like to sleep in a much cooler room, this was a bit uncomfortable - we woke up a few times because of this. Only one USB port on one side of the bed, which was inconvenient. The bathroom is completely see-thorough into the bedroom and if one is sitting on the toilet, they are on display for those in bed - yuck. The wifi went out off and on during the night and was tragic for us because we had to work. On the positive side, there is a lift for those who have difficulty navigating stairs and for carrying luggage. Only a short walk to Victoria Station, which was super convenient, would I stay again? Probably, but would bring a fan.

We booked a couple of King Rooms for our friends and us for my 60th Birthday, we had a restaurant reservation at Scalini in Walton Street and chose this hotel due to it's close proximity, basically a short cab journey away and a 5 minute walk to Elizabeth Street, which hosts a number of independent shops, bars and restaurants.
The rooms are quite compact but chic, everything has been well thought out to make the most of the space. The bed is electronically operated so you can put your feet up, raise the back of the bed and also have a massage if you desire and the curtains are also electronic. The shower room is lovely and has a TV built into the tiles, good water pressure and quality fittings.
As soon as you enter, the Staff welcome is very warm and the reception area smells amazing! It was also a trip down memory lane for me as I was born and bred in this area, so it made our stay extra special!

We enjoyed our stay at the Eccleston Square Hotel. The location was perfect for where we needed to be - in a gorgeous part of London. Our only gripe is the “room service cleaning” instructions were not explained at check in and being a weekend (checked in Friday and no housekeeping service on Sundays) we had to get clean towels, amenities and toilet paper via Reception! Our stay consisted of 3 nights and whilst we certainly did not want or expect bed linens to be changed, given the fact that the bathrooms are tiny there is really no provision for drying towels and these definitely need refreshing daily.

Dear Chris, Thank you for your review, we are delighted that you enjoyed our hotel and location. Our hotel provides daily housekeeping upon request and our front desk team are happy to arrange any housekeeping services you require during your stay. Additionally all of our housekeeping requests can be made via our in-room tablets. Due to COVID-19 we have a policy of not entering guest-rooms unless requested by the guest. We hope that this policy will evolve once the pandemic is over. We hope to welcome you back soon. Wishing you all the best, Olivia

I am quite a techie type of guy but I thought a lot of the switches and gizmos were a bit over the top even for me. Being shown my room took about 15 mins press this for lights that for TV and that again for more lights etc etc. After all that my dedicated high speed USB charger for my phone didn't work and the day we stayed the BBC news channel wasn't working. It was all a bit over the top. That said the room was London compact and comfortable as was the bed. The location is excellent with a 8 min walk from Victoria Rail Station less from the bus station. We were going to Sloane square that evening and the 10 min walk was perfect. I liked the area the hotel was located in as it felt safe. Breakfast the next morning although quite expensive was well cooked and perfect. The staff were all friendly and welcoming our receptionist who was in training was being supervised expertly. All in all, a great choice for a London city break.

A very comfortable boutique hotel. Good location near Victoria We are no spring chickens but we had no difficulty walking back from Westminster after the firework display on New Years Eve. Good food, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Am sure it would be even better in spring/summer when guests could also enjoy the park opposite.

Wanted to charge £40 to go to room 40 minutes early, although we hadn't asked to do so!
No china cups in room just paper cups (2) for espresso machine and no normal coffee in room, and no TEA or kettle. Rang reception in morning for tea and told to come to reception to get!! No biscuits . Paid £210 which is overpriced for what we got no breakfast but cold pay £18 each.
Technology far too complicated - had an Ipad to try to work it all out. Just wanted to relax - not study.
Seem to be one big money making operation for something that was not cheap in the first place.
Did get to see garden in Eccleston Square but needed to call reception to let us out, took a while as they were on the phone .

For my 50th birthday weekend we chose an independent family run hotel close to Victoria, only two minutes walk to the coach station yet unbelievably so quiet we could have been staying in a rural location.

Without my making any point or suggestion my birthday was noticed and we were given a free upgrade with the nice touch of a birthday card in the room.

The service and staff friendliness was brillant with them being genuinely interested and the food we had was excellent, but what stands the Eccleston Square apart are the rooms which are a technological marvel. The whole room is smart with a tablet to control everything and I used Chromecast for the first time ever!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, go and experience this the next time you are staying in London and give them your support.

Our double room was ridiculously small and had a huge plumbing problem.
At six thirty am we were woken by what I though was that my husband had left water running in our en suite and the bathroom was flooding. The running water noise was from other bathrooms as their morning showers appeared to filter through our room and this went on for two hours. Sort it! Unacceptable a these prices and if the hotel knew this to be a problem why place us in this room if they knew it to be a problem, they hotel at the time was only a quarter full. We loved the location but the staff have no idea and the breakfast was disappointing at £18 pp, I can only describe this as aeroplane food

Truly I have no recollection, this area is known for lack of 24 hours parking! Street parking is not an option due to the time limitations. If I am not wrong there is one in the South Belgrave area
