Stayed at the Caspian during half term. We had Room 12 (family room) with an en suite shower room and were able to park car for the duration of our stay - a real bonus!
We were very warmly welcomed by Mr Samari who was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.
Our room was light, airy with a garden view, equipped with all the basics and a fridge which was particularly useful for us.. The beds were extremely comfortable,
We appreciated hot showers, too, especially after long days sightseeing and shopping. The room was kept lovely and clean by the housekeeper.
The hotel is very conveniently located for Ealing centre and Ealing Broadway station. Although the hotel is on a busy road junction, we were not disturbed by traffic in the evenings or overnight.
During our stay breakfast was at Mama Mia cafe in Ealing shopping centre. We had plentiful, well-cooked full English breakfasts, efficient service. (Hopefully, in the future, breakfast will be offered again in the hotel.)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again!

I used to live in Ealing so chose the Caspian for its great location to the tube station, sainsburys and pubs. I booked the cheapest room available on purpose so wasnt expecting the Ritz. The friendly owner told me that they had started a redecortation program, my room was basic but clean sheets and room with TV, sink, kettle. Shared bathroom also clean (no toiletries). Breakfast was continental, filtered coffee, breads, meats, fruit, toast all fine. The breakfast room again basic but freshly decorated and clean. I pointed out that they needed to supply a bath mat. I was also allowed to leave my car in the car park for 6 hours whilst I attended my buisness meeting. It suited me well for the purposes of my visit.
I will stay again for the convienience and the friendly staff
The owner told me that they are currently working with the hotel inspectors to upgrade the hotel and achieve a better rating

Four friends needed a place to stay overnight and one found this hotel where we could share a room at a reasonable price, en suite with a superb view of a green area surrounded by trees, during the day it is a busy traffic corner but when the windows are closed it does not disturb the night. Breakfast across the green at La Baguette, staff in both areas were cheerful and helpful, was just what you wanted to set you up for a long journey back to Yorkshire. If any of us need to be back in this area this is the place we will stay

I have over the past 30 years , visited most cities ,and countless hotels ,and B&Bs .But I have never felt so compelled to write a review on my visit too the Caspian Hotel..

When arranging my visit to Ealing Broadway ,I was looking for accommodation near train station ,and moreso near the Care home that my uncle John is in.

I was expecting a travellodge too be the first choice ..Nope ,it was much further ! Caspian is less than 2/3 minutes from the heart of Ealing ,it sticks out (not like a sore thumb that's for sure ) but so catching on the eye ,it looks more suited with its beautiful garden and aqua green frontage ,too be more suited in a Mediterranean village.

On arriving , I was given a great friendly welcome from thd owner , and the reassurance that he and his staff would be at hand if I wanted anything ..

For being bang in the centre Ealing Broadway, I could not believe how inexpensive my stay was , I seriously expected considerably more .

My room ,was similar to a boutique room I have stayed in another hotel , bright and vibrant, clean as a whistle ,with all the extras you get in top hotels.

It goes without saying that I would recommend this fantastic ,friendly ,family hotel too put it top of your list should you be planning business or pleasure in the beautiful part of London, Ealing Broadway..

Top marks all round .. and thats a FACT..

This feels more like a stay with extended family rather than a hotel stay. Welcoming all the way!

The team there are so helpful and caring.

It also opens onto the splendid Haven Green which, even on the hottest of days, lives up to its name.

I left feeling revived with my trust in human nature restored.

Stayed at this hotel for 3/4 weeks in the attic room whilst I was working in London. Comfy bed, plenty of space and friendly staff. Couldn’t recommend more and great value for money. Highly impressed.

Very much need of a clean, don't cater to much for dietary and allergy requirements. Management team seem very flustered at times, despite being pleasant. Plus that there is plenty about in Ealing, but much better b & b's in the area

Watch Out, a credit card fraud when booking this hotel!! They bill your credit card as you reserve and there is no changing your mind, even if you cancel they bill you anyway as they did to me!!
I am furious!! I wanted to cancel a second stay because the first stay was so bad and very expensive!! No way the owner billed me anyway!!
The only good thing about this hotel was its location, very close to Ealing broadway station:

We arrived in the early evening and booked into hotel in the office with possibly the most disinterested member of staff I've ever met. Payment expected upfront really should have told us something!
We were shown to our room which turned out to be a twin room (fine) with very dated decor (not a problem) and no en suite. "Where's the bathroom?" says I. The disinterested lass gestures vaguley to her right and says "Over there", turns and walks away.
My still unforgiven friend who booked the hotel turns to me sheepishly and says, "Yeah, my bad!".
To the room. There was a sink in the corner of the room which emitted no hot water what so ever. I reported this and was told that it would be sorted. I then went to the communal bathroom, where the radiator was off despite it being nearly December, freezing cold and again, no hot water in the tap.
Back in the room the radiator was on so high it was like a sauna. Unfortunately the thermostat was stuck and I couldn't turn it down.
After returning from a night out we found a note in our room, reading, "Dear guest, kindly run the tap for three to five minutes to get hot water". Brilliant.
After a very warm nights slumber (fair do, the bed was fairly comfy) we awoke to the continental breakfast.
Breakfast consisted of a fine spead of packet muffins and croissants, fruit and Bran Flakes or Corn Flakes. It got better when the waitress wandered over and said would we like an egg. "I'm sorry, what?" says I. "A boiled egg" says the waitress. "How do you like it cooked?". I had to bite my tounge to stop me saying with bacon and sausage.
Coffee was also served in a posh pot and turned out to be cheap instant and tasted awful. The egg admittedly was cooked very well, though I find only allowing your guests one egg per person is a bit tight after submitting them to all this and charging them for the experience.
After we booked out we had tickets to the Rugby in Wembley and asked again if we could leave our car there for a few hours. This had been arranged when my fellow traveller booked the room. The manager agreed but stated that he accepted a £10 donation for allowing us to do so!
I can only presume that this £10 was to put towards a ticket back to Mars or whatever planet he came from.

This is potentially one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I shall list the good things and the bad

Good:
We stayed one night, yet they still gave us a refund on our supposed 4-night stay.

Very friendly staff.

Bad:
Dusty room.
Wallpaper was stained in places and was falling off the wall.
Walls were dirty.
Shower was dirty.
Bathroom smelled.
Shower had a handle that you had to hold in your hand the entire time.
3x3 ft. Shower.
Bed was dusty and dirty.
Only given one towel per person.

I have slight breathing problems and on this trip I was awoken in the middle of the night. My lungs stopped working due to the dust and I had to rush for my inhaler in the middle of the night.
