The hub by Premier Inn London West Brompton hotel is frequently commended for its modern and clean design, featuring well-appointed 'pod' rooms that, while cozy and praised for powerful showers, tend to be on the smaller side and occasionally lack natural light. The staff's friendliness contributes to the positive service experiences, though there have been some reports of slow service. Cleanliness stands out as a strong point, with travelers noting immaculate rooms. The hotel's prime location near public transport and attractions is a major draw, and guests also value the affordability of the accommodations. However, noise can be an issue for some, with complaints of air conditioning sounds and dripping noises.

I booked a bigger room for £50 as a solo guest I love this hotel as it’s always spotless, room very comfortable and shower is strong and hot

You are right on a tube line with plenty of buses outside, you can easily walk to Earl’s Court or Kensington.

The coffee place opposite, morning neighbour coffee is excellent

You cannot beat the value for money this hub offers, I love the electronic key pad and the comfy bed

Just returned from 3 nights here over the bank holiday weekend.

Location is fantastic, literally 100m away from West Brompton station, and plenty of pubs etc nearby, and a Tesco Express a bit further up the road.

The room is quirky, and as expected, very small. It's efficiently laid out with a slide out table at the end of the bed. I liked the techy controls in the headboard to switch on indicators outside the room "do not disturb" etc. No more hanging cardboard hooks on the door handles...

The fixtures and fittings in the room are quality, from the comfy bed, to the smoothly sliding and heavy door on the shower cubicle. The sink is a premium one too, being a bowl raised up off the counter.

No noise whatsoever from outside (despite a very loud pub being directly opposite), as there are two layers of double glazing. The blind also blocks out 100% of the light from outside if you pull it all the way down.

Only negative point is no tea&coffee making facilities in the room. Apparently it's free in the bar/cafe, but like most people I like it in the room. There's room at the end of the bed for a small tray to fit, so they could remedy this I guess.

Another big plus, that I haven't seen in any Premier Inn, Travelodge, or Ibis, is the fact that the TV as apps, so iPlayer, and more importantly YouTube are available.
Wifi is free throught as well - no more 30min limits etc.

Overall a great place to stay in a great location, if you can cope with the lack of tea&coffee!

Very good place to stay...

Question: Are the Hub by Premier Inn hotels superior to the larger Premier Inn?
If you are travelling alone I believe that they are...

The Hub in West Brompton is very well located, one minute walk away from the West Brompton underground and overground train stations also on direct bus routes and with a couple of excellent pubs and restaurants adjacent; with the rest of the capital of capital’s attractions within easy reach.

The greeting was efficient and professional as well as friendly in inviting and welcoming reception, bar and restaurant area.

The wonderful compact room was very comfortable for one person with lots of modern touches; great large TV with built in apps, the Wi-Fi is fast and has a stable connection.

The bathroom benefits from wonderful large powerful shower with twin showerheads complimented by fluffy towels in an ultra clean environment.
I encountered no noise issues.

Breakfast is a good, hot food limited to bacon, sausage rolls though you can eat as many as you like, together with unlimited hot drinks, juice, croissant, cereals, yoghurts, etc.

Highly recommended, if like me travelling alone.

This was my first time at this hotel but I have stayed at other Premier Inn Hubs in the past so knew what to expect.

This hotel is in a great location 2 mins walk away from West Brompton tube station and the atmospheric Brompton Cemetery (great place to while away a sunny afternoon). My 3-night stay was overall pleasant and restful. However a couple of things let it down.

1. There were no towels when I checked into my room so I had to request some. Additionally, the room wasn’t all that clean (dust on horizontal surfaces - and the toilet obviously had not been cleaned since the last occupant, hence the presence of pubic hairs and urine stains on the edge and at the back of the toilet bowl). The front desk manager on duty was however very prompt at both providing the missing towels and cleaning the toilet once I reported it.

2. On my last night around 10pm I tried to watch a couple of movies on demand but the streaming quality was horrendous, image and sound just kept stuttering and I had to give up on this and finish watching one of the movies early the next morning, until around 10am when the streaming quality started deteriorating once again.

I do love Hub hotels but I am not sure I would stay in this particular one again. It was my first stay away from home since the first Covid lockdown in March 2020 and I did not feel I was staying somewhere the current situation was being taken seriously.

We stayed at West Brompton as a family in two separate rooms for 5 days early August and it was worth every penny. The room my husband and I shared was towards the front of the hotel (number 104?) this possibly being one of the larger ones available and was totally soundproof. Stayed when Euros were on and heard nothing from pub opposite. Such a great location for the tube literally 5 minutes walk and such a great little station. This hub was staffed by some fab people including Sophia who was there most days. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys and Sophia, remembering guests by name was that smiling face enquiring after our day every time we returned. Also the guy who had to spend his time replacing my daughter's lost key card time after time (she lost it not the hub!); his humour was priceless.
Clean and fresh this Hub is worth a visit and I must say The Black Rabbit Cafe opposite Brompton Cemetery was also on our daily list, both of these places we look forward to visiting again very soon. Sophia in case you wondered,,, its Lynne your favourite guest !

Premier Inn is my go-to brand so I was curious to try their new hub brand with its more compact rooms and I will praise it for decent execution. The standard room is a functional space that suits a single occupant nicely with useful features such as a slide out desk that will accomodate most laptops and generous underbed storage. Space for hanging clothes is a little limited so bear that in mind if you more that a couple of items like suits, dresses, etc to hang up.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, I was travelling with my wife and the standard room simply wasn't big enough for us. The bed, while just as comfortable as any regular PI, wasn't big enough for two and only had one side open to the room which forced one of us to climb over the other to get on/off the bed. The size of the room also made it a little awkward if we both wanted to dress, etc at the same time.
I would strongly recommend booking their larger room if you are travelling as a couple.

As expected, the hotel was clean and tidy throughout and the room even had a complementary snack and bottle of water when we chacked in. Unfortunately, housekeeping failed to make up our room on the only time we requested it. Despite leaving two messages with reception we were very disappointed to return after a long day to find that the room hadn't been hoovered, the dirty towels were still piled in the shower and the bed hadn't been made. Fortunately, a member of staff arranged for us to move into a clean room when we requested it although we did have to request it.

The breakfast buffet might not be as varied as a regular Premier Inn; however, my wife and I were very happy with the range and quality of food on offer.

The hotel is very near the West Brompton station (<5-min walk) and within walking distance of Earl's Court Tube station (10 to 15 min) which both provide excellent links to central London and other areas.

Overall, this hotel presents a decent option for the budget traveller looking for a basic hotel to serve as a base while visiting London, and while this trip was maybe a little disappointing, I would still consder staying here again.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The location at first might seem a bit away but it is worth it as it is within minutes of two different stations for the Underground or Overground. There is also a Tesco Express or regular Tesco close by for anything you may need. It is only 30 minute walk to the Kensington Area where you can find more shops and restaurants as well as a few museums. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite spacious (it was 2 of us and we stayed in the "Bigger Room"). The place was clean and plenty of hot water. The only thing was that we kept getting only 1 towel in the room so twice we had to walk to the lobby to request an extra one. The staff was very nice and attentive to the guests. We will stay here again on our next stop in London.

We recently stayed here for two nights on a Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is only a few short metres from West Brompton underground station on the District line making it easy access for central London and its attractions and is also within walking distance of Kensington with its palace. This was the first time that we've stayed in a Hub and whilst we found the lack of space a bit disconcerting we also found it spotlessly clean with a very quality shower. We were in a basement room and found it very quiet with little outside noise but we did also mean natural daylight. Whilst there was tea and coffee making facilities in the bar area we did miss not having it in the room. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. Overall a very enjoyable stay,

We had a very satisfying stay. The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. The room wasn’t large but we expected that from the description and the price, and it was all the space you needed for a place to sleep. How the space in the bedroom was used was clever as well with a pull out desk and storage, the bathroom was a great size as well and very clean. The location was perfect less than a minute from the tube station and less than 5 minutes from the restaurants but it still felt very quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Very pleasing first impression of the Premier Inn Hub brand.
Clean, contemporary thoughtful design throughout. Even though my first floor standard room had no windows it did not feel claustrophobic to me. The shower was very good and the bed panel controls very straightforward for setting the Aircon temperature and lighting levels.
Breakfast was slightly cut back from a main Premier Inn but the quality of the pastries and cooked elements was very good.
Although there is no tea/coffee making in the room, there is an endless supply in the lounge which you can take back.
I have to mention the lovely Kym, who checked me in and made me feel very welcome. She even came over when I was leaving to ask if I had enjoyed my stay. The equally charming Faysal provided excellent customer service in the lounge bar. Both these members of staff showed a genuine interest in me as a guest and are a real asset for Premier Inn.

Yes it does. You might even be able to check in early if they have spare rooms. On check out and you're left to roam the city with heavy bags. I'd recommend trying the Web for - bounce - to stuff your luggage for the day.

It’s one bed that is in a cubby, but you will both fit if your the same gender? And of course if you don’t mind sharing the same bed. I’d share with my child so I would think so.
