Stayed at this hotel over new year and it was one of the best we have stayed in central London. The hotel is decorated beautifully not over the top with the usual bling. The staff at checkin were wonderful as was the doorman and concierge all very friendly and not overbearing. We were also given an upgrade to a suite which I’m sure is due to my Amex card. The room agin was one of the best in London, the suite is a proper suite and not one with a sofa at the end of the bed, the bathroom was also separate as a free standing bath in the corner of the bedroom really winds me up. The walk in shower was spacious and all the fittings were great. Bed linen is real quality and mood lighting can be operated from any point in the room/ rooms. Great Nespresso machine which some hotels at this level still omit from rooms. All in all a great stay and I would stay and recommend this as a place to stay.

My wife and I recently stayed for 3 days at the Belmond Cadogan Hotel on a mini-break to London, and simply could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

Everything about the Cadogan is top quality. From the moment you arrive the friendly staff are ‘on it’ and making you feel special, a feeling which is augmented by the beautifully appointed building.

Our room was comfortable, with a great bathroom and all the mod cons you’d expect in such a venue.
Nice gym in the basement with enough equipment to help you burn off any excess from indulging in the bar or restaurant.
Breakfast (included) was fantastic, with a wide range of options to choose from, and great coffee. Loved the tea cosies that the Head chef’s mother had knitted, and the customised cups and saucers!
We loved the bar, which has an easy, elegant feel and great cocktails on offer- nice touch to have a little sample cocktail when you order, hidden in the menu, and the popcorn to nibble on is delicious as well!

We drove down from the Midlands and the hotel took care of valet parking, which was reasonable and helped make arrival and departure nice and simple.

The location is perfect for exploring London. You’re 5 mins from Sloane Square, the Kings Road and Knightsbridge, and a lovely 30 minor so walk from the West End, so perfect if you want to get around on foot.

If you have stayed at a Belmond property before then you really won’t be disappointed by the Cadogan. As always, the staff are truly outstanding and the setting is perfect. Not a cheap option, but if you want to treat yourself to a special hotel then head to the Cadogan!

In terms of Covid, we felt completely safe and comfortable here. Plenty of hand sanitizer dotted around the hotel and all staff wearing masks. Maybe we’re just getting used to all this now, but it certainly didn’t spoil any part of the stay.

The Belmond group certainly know how to look after guests. From the moment you pull up in the rain, your car is swiftly unloaded, your reservation checked, and your luggage is delivered to your room within minutes of you completing registration formalities, and you are looked after at every moment like very special long standing friends. Its a marvellous guest experience - relaxed, formal, but very friendly with exceptional service everywhere. It is deservedly popular for drop in guests having drinks at the bar, whilst the cocktail lounge is a beautiful haven of tranquillity in which to relax and have table service.
Dare I say it reminded me of a mini Lanesborough? That is a huge compliment!
The check pout was a sad moment as the time had gone so quickly but our car was deliverd to us very swiftly and loaded without fuss and just as instructed. I would have no hesitation in returning to stay. It's so handy for the ladies to shop too!

I stay here at last once per month an this is by far the best hotel in London in my opinion. Yes you could complain that the gym is small and without proper equipment, but that would be the only small grip. The interior has been painstakingly remodeled and has navigated a very difficult job of keeping the elegant, old school charm but feeling also fully new. The service and food at te new LaLee restaurant is exceptional, although they could change the diner menu a little more often. Located beteen Knightsbridge and Sloane square it is the best location in London where you cna walk to all of the area you will need ot go. A true 5tar experience.

We booked a British Pullman and Belmond hotel experience together and have to say we received a wonderful warm welcome and great service from the hotel & all staff on our three night stay.
We were very appreciative of an upgrade we were given and took full advantage of the suite. I particularly thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the deep bath whilst watching TV after a long days Christmas shopping in the capital.
There was a little issue which was not to do with the the hotel but with the agent I had used but this was swiftly & discreetly sorted.
The breakfasts were plentiful and of a high quality and I will be leaving a separate review of the main hotel restaurant.
We had a wonderful time on our trip and hope to return to the hotel in the future.

My husband and I visited the Cadogan recently and were blown away by the service! Every member of their team - from the concierge and front desk teams to housekeeping - that we encountered was extremely helpful and always offered a friendly greeting upon arriving or leaving the hotel.

The rooms (beyond being beautifully designed) had every amenity we could have possibly needed.

We also loved the hotel’s location as it was on a quieter street but just a short walk away to many of the popular sights, shopping and restaurants.

Highly recommend this hotel and its wonderful team!

We had a very relaxed and enjoyable supper at the Cadogan.

We live locally and had intended to try out the restaurant offering and we decided to drop in one evening when we were out for a walk.

We had pre dinner drinks on the small outside terrace before going inside for supper. The atmosphere was lively without being raucous and the service from start to finish was very good - attentive but not at all overly formal or overbearing which suits us well. The menu was simple but good and the quality of the food and the presentation was impressive.

Given the location and Belmond brand (which can occasionally stray into the ‘overpriced’ category) we thought the offering was good value overall. We would certainly return.

Thank you for your review of Adam Handling Chelsea at the Cadogan Hotel. The terrace is a fantastic way to start your experience and we have worked hard on creating an atmosphere that is lively but not overbearing and its with great pleasure that on this occasion we achieved it. We have terrace heaters arriving to the hotel this week, which will make our terrace more comfortable in the winter months. Please do be in contact when you are next planning a visit and I will personally oversee your arrangements. I look forward to seeing you soon.

First impressions on arrival at this amazing property as I was greeted by Toru (head concierge), was the feeling of warmth that is exuded. I liken it to a favored son returning to a family home, all of the staff were genuinely very friendly and engaging.
My second impression was of how beautiful this property is, along with its rich history, and the immense pride with which staff are able to regale the many stories over the property’s lifetime.
The rooms are beautiful, with amazing detail and whilst being comfortable with great amenities, it feels like everything a traveler could possibly want is available.
Finally, the location is very convenient for accessing the rest of London, and apart from being close to two mainline tube stations, Sloane Street, in itself has amazing shopping.
To properly and conveniently experience London, the Cadogan is a must do. It is an experience in itself.

The Cadogan had some pleasant small surprises throughout our stay which was appreciated (occasional tea time snacks and drinks). The Cadogan is not a business hotel. There are no spaces to genuinely work except to have in person meetings in the restaurant or lounge.

The furnishings and the staff make for a very welcoming hotel. The bedding and beds provide a very good night of sleep. The bathrooms and the tile work led to a very luxurious feel. The toiletries have a calming nice scent and unlike other hotels, do not dry out your hair.

The restaurant while not extraordinary, serves decent food with attentive staff. The lounge has live music each evening featuring different musicians and their instruments. Drinks are served stiff and cold.

Thank you for your review. I am glad to read that you had a pleasant stay, but we could do more to make it more comfortable for our business guests. The lounge is normally a nice quiet space for guests to hold meetings, however it can get a little busy in the afternoon for tea. I have made a note of your comments and will work with the team on some opportunities to make your next stay even better. With best wishes Nick
