The Pelham is a unique, stylish boutique hotel in the very heart of South Kensington. Each and every room has been individually designed by Kit Kemp, blending the enchantment of English style with modern colours and flair, The Pelham has been described as one of London's finest townhouse hotels. Our guests have the privilege of exclusive use of the wood paneled drawing room and library both with open fireplaces, business centre as well as our 24-hour fitness room. Kensington is awash with boutiques, bars and bistros not to mention our La Trattoria by Alfredo Russo that brings traditional, homely and honest Italian food. The Chef Alfredo Russo brings his zestful, inquisitive approach to life with his cuisine based on traditional Italian recipes, with an easy and casual ambience. Our stylish Event Suites can be transformed from a corporate meeting area into a glamorous space for private dining, drinks receptions, baby showers and afternoon teas. Minutes from the Victoria & Albert and Natural History Museums, Harrods, Hyde Park and The Royal Albert Hall, The Pelham really is the perfect foundation for your sophisticated stay in London.
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

No. And parking in this area is not easy. You can park overnight everywhere on a single yellow line from about 6:30 pm to 8:30 am (always check) and there is metered parking. But public garages are few. The nearest ones are at least a 15 min walk. That said, when staying at the hotel you don’t need a car. Hotel is opposite underground and there’s a bus stop right outside. Easy to get all over London from here.
